Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Silverstar held his head high as he spoke. Any signs of weakness could provoke the she-cat. "Yes, I have come to retrieve Mudkit." He glanced over to the kit and spoke in a softer tone. "Are you okay? Did she hurt you?"
Before mudkit could respond, Flame interrupted, "of course I didnt harm him! Does he look hurt to you?" Then she cleared her throat. "Now, down to business."
Mudkit met Silverstar's gaze with a shameful expression before lowering his gray-blue eyes once more.
"Answer the question, Flame," he pressed, his eyes narrowing. "Why would you want that?" Mentally, he was sizing the Primal cat up. If worse comes to worse, we'll have to fight. Two versus one isnt fair but it might be the only option. He glanced back at Silvershine. "What do you think, Silvershine?"
She chuckled, "easy now, tiger. No need to get your tail in a knot. I simply would like to have access to Moonclan territory. In case of anything. You will agree to my request if you truly want your kit back. This is my final offer. I say it's more than fair. You get to keep your leadership position and I get what I want."
Silvershine was standing there stunned, clearly lost in thought while her gaze was filled with hurt and disappointment. She jumped slightly when Silverstar addressed her. Her mother side of her wanted to trust her daughter but she was unsure if that was the logical thing to do. She didnt want to be responsible for anyone getting hurt. However, she couldn't let her son join Flame. She knew Flame wouldn't hurt Mudkit because if she did, she would have already done so. But she knew Flame would teach him her ways and Mudkit could become just as dangerous as she is. There would be two of them by then. She let out a sigh, "we dont have much of a choice, Silverstar. If she takes Mudkit, she will teach him everything she knows and use him...If we give her access to Moonclan, she could seek revenge...I think this is your call..." She hung her head in shame. This was her fault. She may have given birth to the very thing that destroys Moonclan.
He looked back to Flame. "Fine. You may have full access to MoonClan territory. But just the territory." he said. "Release the kit," he demanded as his eyes motioned for the kit to come towards him.
Flame grinned and shoved Mudkit toward the Moonclan cats.
Mudkit stumbled but quickly made his way over to his mother where Silvershine greeted him with licks. The kit looked up at Silverstar, "I-Im sorry...this was all my fault...If you are going to punish me. Please only punish me. Moonpaw wouldn't have done it if I hadn't talked him into it."
He leered at Flame before setting his gaze on Mudkit and shook his head. "Don't worry about it. It's okay," he said reassuringly. "As long as it doesnt happen again."
(Do you still want to build that friendship between Buttercupkit and Moonpaw? Or I also have Finchwatcher and Dovewish in Springclan that I need to work on their character building)
