"I mean... it might not be much but I've felt a lot less lonely since you've been around. You talk to me and you don't treat me any different. It's nice. You don't always need to be hunting or fighting something and you just... enjoy what's around you." After some reflection he realized how cruel and insensitive he had been by insisting he teach her how to hunt. He wanted to help but realized that in the long run, he probably wasn't hunting in the slightest. "It's nice for once so... thanks."
Flawedperspective couldn't believe he was talking about her. She was that cat? If someone had described that cat, the one that spoke to others regardless of their appearance or disabilities, she would never have come up with herself. Shocked, surprised, it was all she could feel until a warm feeling took over. A blush rose to her cheeks, crimson red and warm to the touch. She didn't understand this feeling, this warmth she felt; nor did she know why she was blushing, for it wasn't in embarrassment or shame like so many other times before. "You're welcome. But..but I really didn't do anything special. I merely spoke to you because I like you." Her cheeks reddened even further, okay maybe she did know what this feeling was. The feeling of being bathed in a summer's light, surrounded by peaceful sounds, the feeling of being wanted, needed, of...of love. But there was no way he'd feel the same for her. Flawedperspective nudged the flowers at her paws, a sad smile on her face at her new realization. Oh, woe me.

(ironically I also had finals which is why I haven't been on x'D)
"Then you'd be the first." He chuckled softly and sighed. "I know I'm not the most fun or the softest cat. But you did do something special, for me at least." The skin under his fur warmed to an uncomfortable degree and he cleared his throat, shifting uncomfortably. "There aren't a lot of cats I like, let alone can even stand, but I like you a lot." He added. He wasn't sure yet just what kind of weight his words held, but he hoped they wouldn't be burdensome.
"You...you like me?" It was disbelief she was expressing, shocked that the words had left his muzzle of all cats. Sure they spent most of their time together, or at least he was the only cat that seemed to want to spend time with her, but she hadn't dared believe that he liked doing so. Not even that the tom would dare like her! Flawedperspective broke out into a grin that could put the sun to shame. "I like you too. Your kind and caring. The first to even want to spend time with me. We may not have gotten along right away," she spoke of their training session together where he'd become frustrated with her inability and her sad that he'd be like all the other, and yet he'd proven her wrong by coming back again and again. "But the times we've been together have all been my favorite." Because he made her feel important, that she may actually be worth something to someone.
