"I probably won't receive an apprentice." It was a fact that she'd accepted, one she knew stimmed from her own inadequate abilities. How could anyone expect someone with the name Flawedperspective to be able to each the youth of their clan? Somedays it confused her as to how she even managed to make it to warrior status. "I'm sure they'll allow you an apprentice before myself." Even blind, he was better at things than she was or she wouldn't need his help.

"You don't know that." He responded bluntly. "Maybe I will, maybe i won't. Maybe you will and maybe you won't. If nothing else, it gives us more time and opportunities to serve our clan even if in unconventional ways." He admitted, drawing a single paw over one of his ears. He could feel the fur sticking up there and it bothered him to no end.
"I suppose." She still wasn't convinced. She'd seen the looks others gave her and heard the rumors that she only made it as a warrior because of who her mother was. Couldn't have the leader's daughter stuck as an apprentice, it'd be a disgrace to the clan. Foxstar was right for naming her Flawedperspective, she was just that, a flaw in SunClan's great ranks. Even blind a cat should be able to see that right? Maybe he was only humoring her because of her mother. Wouldn't be the first time. "Do you desire to train an apprentice?" Many did, she didn't find herself worthy enough for the task, nor up to the demands it would ask for as she didn't see a single trait in herself that would be worthy to pass onto an influenceable mind like an apprentice.

(Sorry i've been struggling with the transition and am working on getting back to normal activity >.>)
He shrugged. "Maybe. Honestly, I still don't know what I want." He had even been considering leaving Sunclan to get to know his father and other siblings better but Indigosight really couldn't figure out what he wanted or why he should stick around.
"For a long time all I wanted was to become a warrior and to prove myself, now that I've done that things have become monotonous for me. I don't know if I want an apprentice or not. No apprentice deserves a complacent warrior as a mentor." Maybe it was inconsiderate for him to voice these to Flawedperspective who struggled and consider herself incompetent but for once he felt comfortable enough to voice this to someone.
(same. I also just switched computers and took up another online course, chemistry) "Your more capable than myself. My own mother has made sure I never see an apprentice." She hadn't heard the words straight from her mother's own mouth but cats talked and she could see the disappointment and shame on all of her's faces. Flawedperspective nudged his shoulder. "Just wait, the Sun God will show you where your needed. I help out in the grave yard and with the kits." Though many wished she wouldn't help with the kits, afraid her uselessness would spread.

[ Ew, I absolutely despise chemistry tbh ]
"I don't think you're as useless as you think you are." He didn't have evidence either way, but something in his gut told him she wasn't useless or awful... misguided, maybe?
"What does a tree look like?" Indigosight asked suddenly. Every cat described their environment differently and he was always curious. For some reason, he suddenly felt the need to hear how she would describe a simple and mundane thing.
(Same. I've yet to figure out how chemistry relates to physical therapy or athletic training, It doesn't. So far my theory is that is to weed out those not committed. It's stupid )
"A tree?" She tilted her head, confused by what he was asking but happily willing to answer when she remembered he was blind and unable to see the great world around them. With a smile, Flawedperspective tried her best to explain the world she saw. "Well it's tall, tall enough to reach the sky in some cases. Its bark is ruff, and brown like the earth under our paws. It has green leaves in the summer and spring. And they turn orange and brown when they fall of the tree in fall. Winter there are no leaves." The colors! He didn't know what they looked like! "Brown is a warm, comforting color but it can be dark too and cold. While green is sharp and fun, it's bright and shades us from the Sun on warm days to give us cool areas to lay. While orange is like a fire, warm and beautiful and the...." What else could she say?

[ Yeah I feel like they don't want anyone that ever takes their noses out of their chemistry books.... ]
He allowed a small smile to spring to his lips. "Thank you, that was a wonderful description. Sometimes I like to live vicariously through others. My sister, well.... quite frankly she sucks at describing things." He admitted with an amused flick of his tail.
"Hearing the way you describe things tells me a lot about you." He admitted. She was clearly observant enough and she felt the earth to some degree. "You might be able to use that to your advantage. When you hunt, don't see the forest but rather feel it." Of course the warrior didn't exactly have an option of which he did but sometimes he found that sight often worked against warriors if they relied on it too much.
(See I only have to take gen chem I and II luckily avoiding organic chem I and II. But even still the physics I can see in PT as it has torsion and levers in it.)
Flawedperspective was alone a lot and had found her surrounds far more interesting than most would, part of the reason she volunteered to work in the grave yard tending to the graves and teh sunflowers. Nature and the world around them were the most interesting of things as the little of things could change how they grew, where and when they blossomed. But it was a natural gift to understand what that all meant and see the beauty in it and to be able to describe it to others, one she hadn't realized she had. "That will help me?" How? She didn't truely understand how that would work or why. She'd always just had a way of understanding the life around her in order to enjoy their beauty. But to use that in her warrior duties? "Is that how you manage to be such a great warrior?"

( I haven't taken physics but it sounds scary tbh xD )
He held back a laugh. "I am far from being a great warrior but maybe you should have been born blind yourself," his tone was unusually light, "you just need to clear your mind and understanding the way our world works. How the mice behave, how a bird sings and where it's favorite perch is. It took me twice as long as your average apprentice to became a warrior because I had to teach myself these things."
If she'd been born blind, she would have been killed and marked of as a kit that just merely didn't survive the birth. It was a fact that she knew to be true. Her mother made it completely obvious that she wasn't wanted, detested for her inabilities, and despised for her failures. Flawedperspective was no fool when it came to her standing within the clan, but for now she merely smiled and shrugged her shoulder. "I probably wouldn't ever be able to leave camp, to busy figuring out how to walk on my own two paws without falling over." Something she still did on some days. But she smiled at his explaination of knowing how the forest worked. The music it played and the dance all its own. Something very few truly understood.

He shrugged a little as they walked, nearing their destination. "We're still young. You have time. You don't need have everything figured out the day you were kitted." He said definitively. "I don't really understand what it is like to have parents, but I do believe we shouldn't get too caught up in them. You can't be happy if you're always trying to please someone else." He didn't know what it was like to have conventional parents, at least.
He was born in no real clan, to his knowledge his mother was a Summerclan queen who died during his kitting and his father a loner turned Summerclan warrior after her death. Each of their kits had been taken to a different clan. Indigosight had been lucky enough for his sister, Yellowdelight, to be brought to Sunclan with him unlike the rest who were taken by themselves.
What was it like to have parents? She hardly knew, all her life she'd been caste aside by her relatives as flawed, just like her name said. Flawedperspective was many things but no kit is bron flawed, something she'd tell anyone and completely defend for another but could never do it for herself. Changing teh subject some to get away from parents, present and not, she asked about his siblings. "Do you hear from any of your siblings?"

"Well I hear from Yellowdelight every day." He teased with a flick of his tail. Obviously, as a Sunclan cat they would see each other all the time. "Outside of her, I haven't heard from my other siblings in a very long time. We didn't exactly... hit it off though." Indigosight had been very hostile towards his father and siblings, bristling at the news of not being born a Sunclan cat but also being in Summerclan territory where the blind tom had felt highly threatened.
"Why's that?" She hadn't heard his storty, didn't know much about him till now. Before, she'd kept mostly to herself, most not wanting or desiring to speak to her. Flawedperspective knew he and Yellowdelight were siblings, but she didn't know if he had others and had merely assumed in hopes he'd talk about them. "Who are they? Are they in the clan as well?" She wouldn't be surprsied if she just didn't know who they were, especially if Indigosight wasn't on talking terms with them.

"None of us were born to a clan. There were... eight of us I think and we were all taken to different clans. Sun clan, Dayclan, winterclan, summerclan, springclan and even Absum Lux. We are everywhere." He admitted. He was supposed to be part of Summerclan since that was his mother's home clan but he didnt consider himself born into summerclan. "My mom was a summerclan cat."
"Really? Have you met her? She must be lovely to--" She almost said, to have such a hansome looking son, but figured he wouldn't apprecitate that. Though, she did find him handsome, but in a moment like this she was glad he was blind as he wouldn't see the blush growing on her face. Flawdperspective nearly chastized herslef when she realized that she was growing a crush on teh first cat to truely pay her mind, to complinet her where others barely spoke her name.

[ Just so you are aware, Cleaver and I decided to pair Yellowdelight and Timesquandor. Timesquandor and Flawedperspective are technically half siblings but we've continued to plot them because there they aren't blood related by any means lol ]
"Not really, she died while kitting. I did meet my father though. He's... okay, I guess." He didn't have a strong opinion of the tom cat, he just seemed soft, sad, and lonely. The tom only met him once. "Sorry if it seems a bit morbid but I'm not much of a cheerful cat." He admitted to her, catching a scent of brief embarrassment off of her. It made him wonder what she was going to say, but decided against asking about it. He enjoyed her company in all honestly, she was comfortable to be around and to talk to. He was apparently feeling more talkative than usual.
(Oh that'd be interesting. I can't keep up with who is and who isn't related to Flawedperspective through Foxstar. It's almost as bad as Deal spawn)
What was she to say to that? He hadn't known his mother, but she still felt sorry for him for his lose. She at least knew her parents even if they seemed like they could careless that she existed. "I'm sorry. No one shoudl ahve to face that so early in life. To not known your parents..its not morbid just..." What word could contray to the feelings she felt? Sadness at his lose, anger at his family's seperation, embrassed to have even brought it up in the first place, frustration at herself for putting him in a position in which he felt he had to talk about it. What kind of friend was she to do that to him?! Her eyes almost poped out at her realization. They hadn't known each other long but she was already claiming him as a friend, something she didn't have many of, and yet it shocked her how quickly they were getting along. But did he even want to be friends with her, especailly after this? Maybe he was embrassed by her? Flawedperspective wouldn't be surprised in the least, her parents were.

(haha so it seems cx )
He shrugged, "Don't worry about it. It's not something that I think about or that really bothers me. It just... happened." It had taken him a long time to come to terms with it but honestly he had many more worries that those regarding a mother. Quite frankly, he wasn't really interested in having parents at this point in his life. Maybe it was merely a result of havinf to toughen up and get over it, but he wasn't entirely sure.
"It looks like we're getting close to our first destination." In the far corner of their territory bordering dayclan and the rogue territory the trees of Sunclan's territory gave way to an opening of rock but it wasn't the rocks with prey, it was the edge of the trees he tended to find more prey.
