Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"You come to this spot often?" The rocks? She'd tried here moons ago and couldn't catch anything, couldn't even find anything to try and fail to catch. Flawedperspective was confused by his choice in location, maybe he was just luckier when it came to finding prey here. All the prey probably left when she showed up before.

[ if you tried to change the font, it didn't work it just has two closing tags cx ]
"No, it's not the rocks I'm looking for. Sometimes you can catch adders here but I don't go after such silent prey. Since I can't see them it would just be stupid of me to even try and catch them. Come closer to the edge of the trees, prey likes to hang out by the edges near the roots trying to gather food, even this time of the year." He explained, remaining downwind of the rocks so he could scent any possible adders.
Adders! She struggled to get catch regular prey let alone snakes. Flawedperspective had never tried to catch an adder, only stuck to teh usualy prey of mice, shrews and a bird or two if she was lucky. "Y-you really thi-think I can catch one?" Fear was in her voice as well as disblief.
(Yea I was showing my friend that we can do different fonts now and then just tried to delete them becuase I was typing in the quick reply thing and it just puts it in the brackets for teh font chnges and I guess just deleting them doesn't work)

[ It should? It's interesting they didn't delete, huh. ]
"I don't know, I wouldn't try if you aren't confident. Catching adders is dangerous business. Don't worry about them, we won't be getting close." He assured her and moved closer to the trees. "Prey likes to gather here around the roots, I thought this would be a good place." Indigosight explained, casting out all of his senses except the obvious one. He could sense something not too far away and wondered if she could smell it or sense it. He wanted to respect her position as a warrior and help her, not treat her like an apprentice.
Glad that they weren't attempting to catch adders, the warrior calmed down greatly, though her eyes continued to search for the scaled creatures to stay out of their reach. Flawedperspective could make out a few scents in the area but she wasn't paying them as much attention as she should. "Do you come here often to hunt?" It seemed dangerous to do by oneself, least an adder sneak up on one of them and strike while they weren't paying attention. That was probably her greatest fear at the moment considering he couldn't see and she wasn't similar enough with adders to be able to sniff them out.

He nodded. "Honestly not many others come here to hunt and it takes away a lot of distractions. Its hard to hunt when you have a gaggle of apprentices bounding through and scaring away all the prey." He admitted. "Everyone is scared of the adders but as long as you stay away from them they won't bother you. I think they bite because they are protecting themselves, they're scare of us but we're also scared of them." Indigosight had observed this enough, as soon as they start to hiss and make a loud racket, if you go away they quiet down and leave themselves. He'd never heard of an adder bothering a cat who did not bother them first.
"Oh...if you're sure." She gave them one last glance, unconsciously moving closer to the tom, before focusing fully on what was in front of them. Birds, and mice. And maybe something else but she couldn't be sure. Flawedperspective nodded her head, "will you be hunting as well?" Maybe if she knew what he was going after she'd better be able to stay out of his way. Or maybe he was just observing her to see how bad she really was.

"Would you feel better if I did?" if they both hunted they could bring back more prey but it would be easier to observe her if he wasn't so distracted. He did feel a bit awkward about the whole situation, being in the middle of their territory with a random she-cat and no other cats around. He never hunted with anyone other than his sister or a hunting party so it felt strange but nice at the same time. How was he supposed to act? Suddenly, he felt a pressure to impress her and show her he was a good warrior and hunter.
"Oh.. um-we-well I suppose if you think I mean if you want to. Don't feel forced! I'll do fine on my own!" Flawedperspective was starting to blush even more, scratching her left front leg with her opposite paw in a show of nervousness. She wasn't sure now, any more so than she'd been earlier about their outing. Though she had to admit that maybe he wouldn't be able to see hear her mess up as much if he was also hunting.

"Hey, there's no need to be nervous. We're clanmates, hunting is what we do." The words were meant to be soothing but Indigosight was awkward and not always the best with other cats for sure. "I'll hunt while you do, just let me know if you need anything." He nodded in her general direction. Was what he said okay? The tom couldn't say for sure. he was doing all kinds of things starting by talking to anyone. The wise young tom typically kept his mouth shut and let others do as they please but something about Flawedperspective... he could sense her nervousness and feelings of low self-esteem and understood to a degree how she felt, he had felt very similar things early on in his apprenticeship. He used to have such feelings of uselessness and low self-esteem and had even considered ridding his clan of the burden that was him. If not for his sister who stuck by his side and helped him through everything he may not have become a warrior at all but would be sitting with the elders and brooding all day.
(AH I struggle to reply to this thread. Like I just can't think of the words to say that sound good together. It's like an awkward conversation and I don't know how to reply!)
"Okay." Flawedperspective nodded her head slowly, the blush still present on her face. Maybe that would be better. It would keep her mind focused on hunting instead of worrying about whether he was watching listening to her fail. Maybe he'd believe her when they finished if she said she was just too worried about the adders to be able to catch anything. It could be the perfect excuse for her poor abilities as a warrior. Though the thought of lying to the tom upset her. She couldn't bring herself to do that.

[ hmm thanks for letting me know I'll try to do a better reply to make it easier for you! ]
Indigosight turned and went a few fox lengths away, searching and scenting for prey that was nearby. There were plenty of scents he could discern but few that weren't completely stale and only one mouse smell that was fresh enough for him to follow. He found it nearby and by the sounds of it the tiny creature had found a morsel to eat. The blue grey tom dispatched the creature quickly and painlessly before finding some dirt soft enough to cover the prey. He listened closely for the sound of Flawedperspective nearby and decided to see if she had found anything yet. Indigosight remained upwind so she would not smell him and hoped that he was out of sight enough. He didn't want to make her nervous but wanted to help as well. Am I that awkward to be around? The warrior wondered to himself but quickly shooed the thought from his mind.
[ I hope this reply was a little bit better. Let me know if you're still struggling to reply and I can fix it c: ]
(No it's not your replies I just struggle with this character in general. It's pretty much the first time I've ever role played a shy insecure cat, so i have a hard time keeping in character with her.)
Flawedperspective watched him wonder away on is own hunt. She knew that she was a terrible hunter, warrior in genereal really, but she'd try. She could hear birds in the trees near by, so as quietly as she could, which wasn't very quiet, she made her way closer to the trees. One eye focused on the tom, the other looking for adders and prey. The brown agouti she-cat wondered close to the nearest tree before she heard the leaves rustling above her. Stopping, she looked around for any birds close to the ground.

( ah that's totally fair and it happens to me sometimes with my cats. If you ever find it difficult to reply to a post though definitely let me know c: )
Indigosight remained upwind of her and cast his sense out, searching and listening for prey. He could hear Flawedpersepectives paws on the ground and scent her direction making it easier. He listened to the birds and the grass and the trees. It was a soothing and harmoniously sound and he closed his unsealing eyes to take it all in. Something about this moment was peaceful and helped him keep his concentration to try and help his clanmate.
(I will thanks! If you ever wanna time skip or anything or have an idea for them to do let me know)
The forest was lovely, both in sight and sound. Breathtaking even and yet, Flawedperspective could focus on none of it. Her eyes were locked on the robin on the ground in front of her, her ears turned into her hummingbird rapid heart. Fur raised, eyes focused, paws as quiet as she could mange, she moved the few paces forward it would take to secure the kill. She didn't get the chance though as the bird spotted her when she stepped on a crunchy leaf, alerting the animal to her location and scaring it off.

(Will do! It might be interesting to time skip and then give them like an interesting mission or situation.)
Fadingsight could smell her nerves and could tell that was a lot of made her clumsy. He could not asses her position without being closer but he heard the crunchy leaf and a realization dawned over him. She needed more confidence and to be more in touch with the forest and with herself. He stepped forward a little shyly, the cry of the bird alerting every piece of prey in the nearby vicinity so he wasn't worried about being quiet. "You almost caught it." He said sympathetically, approaching her. He knew what he was going to say so did not hide that he witnessed her missed catch.
(She likes to work at the burial grounds and tend to the sunflowers and the graves there, so maybe we can do something with that.)
She was too wrapped up in her own head, in her own failure, to hear the other warrior approach. Suprised, Flawedperspective took a step back, tripping over her own two paws and landing in a rather tangled mess on the ground. "Th-thank you. I didn't-didn't realize you were so close. Did I disturb your hunt?" She was trying to be polite but felt guilty that she'd interrupted, what she was sure, his good hunt.

(Yeah I think that's very cute actually xD )
He chuckled softly at her surprise and sat down calmly. "You would have caught it, but you're thinking too much." He explained. "Don't think so much, just let your instincts do their work. We are natural born hunters." There was no denying that cats were made for killing and eating fresh prey. Anything other than fresh prey brought dulled senses or brought sickness.
(Then whenever your ready when can skip ahead. I was thinking maybe he catches her in her element when she's taking care of the graves. That's when she's her most carefree. It'd be a good momnet for him to realize his feelings but to also realized that she's good at something even if it's not her warrior duties)
"I suppose...." He made it sound so simple. If it was then why did she struggle with the act of hunting so much? Falwedperspective could only come to the conclusion it was as he said, she was over thinking, but would not thinking help? What about her form then? She'd surely mess it up.
