[ Yeah that would be great. Sorry I haven't replied, midterms hit me hard this past week so I wasn't on much. I think one more date would be cute and the date can kind of "conclude" with one of them confessing. ]
"Don't worry, you'll figure it out." He rested his tail gently on her shoulder. "Come on, let's keep hunting and see what we can find."
-- TIME SKIP --
Indigosight was feeling kind of bored this afternoon. He had already been out hunting and his sister was god knows where, probably running off with Timesquandor who she tagged along with more than he cared for these days. He didn't know the cat well and so didn't really approve of him being close to his sister but there wasn't much he could do, she deserved to be happy after everything that transpired within their family after all. He headed out towards the burial sites, if he passed through then he would be able to get to his destination sooner when he suddenly smelled a very familiar and fresh scent. Flawedperspective? He was a bit surprised she was here and followed the scent quietly.
Flawedpersepective smiled down at the freshly cleaned grave. She wasn't sure who had been buried here or when, but it didn't matter to her. Everyone deserved the utmost respect both in life and death. If all she could off those who had passed before her were clean graves and fresh flowers than so be it. It wasn't as though she could honor them with the skills each warrior was taught as she wasn't good at any of them. Moving on to the next grave, her smile bloomed. It was for an elder she'd once known, one that had encouraged her as an apprentice and told her stories as a kit.

( Sorry, life has been busy and this wasn't showing up in my threads. I had to go looking for it >.> )
He followed her scent to where it was most recent and realized there was a scent of flowers and fresh earth. Was she here cleaning and decorating the graves? It was confirmed by the feeling of hard packed earth and somehow everything just felt.. peaceful. Her scent was filled with a calm happiness he had not witnessed and a small smile appeared on her face. This is where she belonged. She was such a kind cat, hunting among the trees was not her forte but he could tell she was happy here in the solitude of the burials grounds. "Good morning." He greeted her, announcing his presence as he tried to avoid spooking her.
(Your good. I was just bumping it so I wouldn't lose it)
Flawedperspective was startled to hear another within the grounds. Usually, she was the sole caretaker of the area, the job was given to her by her mother, and she did it well and to her best ability. The warrior nearly fell over in her haste to turn around, a blush already forming on her face at being caught at the task though she wasn't sure why. Maybe because many hated this job, and laughed at others when they got stuck with it. Where she volunteered to do it every single morning. "O-oh! Good morning!"

"I see you've had a busy morning." He meowed, sitting down with his paws tucked in neatly. He couldn't see them but was careful to avoid sitting on a grave. "I can tell you have tended to many graves this morning alone." His words were thoughtful and he basked in the few rays of sun that morning and the pleasant smell of the winter flowers she was using for them. He was always inpressed by their persistence and ability to survive even the harshest of winters.
"Oh, ye-yes! I haven't done much but...I..." She glanced around at the work she'd done. In her eyes, it wasn't much but it is the only thing she could do right so she didn't mind doing it every morning alone. The cedar, rose, and tulip combinations decorated only about two of the grave sites but she had only finished cleaning them all moments ago. Flawedperpsetive liked to clean them all first, then collect and lay out the flowers out, it helped to keep the dirt off of the flowers that she ended up brushing away from the stones that marked the grave sites. At her feet, were bundles of the different flowers separated into each type of flower and ready to be paired together to form bouquets for each grave. Flawedperspective looked back at the tom, confused and a little embarrassed. Confused because she hadn't thought anyone would be out here this early especially since the sun had only just risen a little bit ago. Embarrassed to be caught to doing the most apprentice-like job she could think of and putting so much care into her work. Maybe he'd think it was dumb, or pointless work like so many others had. She refused to meet his eyes, a blush still adorning her cheeks and only getting redder.

"Do you enjoy taking care of the graves?" He asked curiously, "It really is a shame you have to work alone, unless you prefer it that way." Indigosight took in a deep breath. He had never seen a flower but he could regognize their scents. His sister long ago had tested him on his ability to identify flowers by scent and he could detect rose... tulip... and cedar. They smelled nice, although not quite as much as the warm and sweet scent put off by Flawedperspective. He could not see, but he imagined the sight before him would be described as wonderful and beautiful.
"I suppose....Mother gave it to me as a permant task, when no one else would do the job." Was that wrong? Maybe it was weird? Everyone called her weird already, so it must be. Flawedperspective looked down at the flowers she had at her paws. She did enjoy the job, but even she knew that no one liked it. They tried their hardest to get out of the task, and her mother had seen that she'd enjoye dit was even good at it and gave it solely to her. "Have you visited the graves before? Most don't, they think the graveyard is haunted by the deceased."

(apologies! I was out of town and really sick upon my return and I am just catching back up with everything c:)
"I don't visit much, mostly because I don't have anyone to visit. My parents are actually from different clans. My mother died during her kitting and my litter was scattered among the clans. I even had a brother in Renegade Regime. Most of my family are not living anymore but I'm not entirely certain where they are buried." He admitted, turning his face to her general direction. "But I don't think this place is haunted, per se. If anything, it is our ancestors, our friends, and our family who has come to see that we are doing well and who are happy to see we are visiting. After all, we know Starclan is real so I wouldn't think it's that far fetched.

(could have sworn I replied to this but I guess not)
Flawedperspective was surprised to hear that about his family, but really she probably should have asked sooner or just known since she'd never heard him talking about his family. "I'm sorry." And she was, no one deserved to have no family. But she could agree that she didn't feel like this place was haunted. The warrior felt more at home here in a graveyard then she did inside of the camp. Here, there was no one to judge her, to call her names, or tease her. Only the dead to learn from and hear their stories and them her own. "Sometimes, I think that those from StarClan have visited here. Surely the Sun God walks the area every once in a while too." She believed wholeheartedly in the God of their clan, he'd helped them so much and she could only pay him back with meager tasks like tending to the graveyard. But it was something and hopefully, it was enough for the Sun God.

He nodded thoughtfully. "I could see that.Since you spend so much time here, though, it makes sense that you would know it the best though." He honestly had been very reluctant to follow the Sun God when Sunclan changed directions but he still followed and loyally. They hadn't been given much option at the time really.
"I suppose. I just try to do my part in honoring the dead." It helped that it was a task her mother had assigned her. Flawedperspective was quick to change her life around when her mother announced the new religion. Partly in hopes that by following the true God then she'd have an easier time at her warrior tasks, but that had only led to the graveyard task for her. "I wonder somedays hat the cats of the past have to say. How their lives were and what stories they have to tell." Her gaze turned towards the grave she'd been tending to moments before.

"I am no priest or sootsayer, but I'm sure they have many stories to tell. What would you do if you could see or talk to the dead?" He asked, looking over at her. He wished he could ask his parents what they had been thinking, having kits so irresponsibly and then ignoring them. Even now, he held a lot of hurt and even hate in his heart for the cats who he should have called parents and he didn't know what to do with all of it or if there was even anything to do with it.
Flawedperspective didn't even hesitate before answering, sure of her answer as it seemed the most logical thing. "Talk back to them. It'd be awful lonely to never been seen or heard by anyone. So if I could, I'd speak to them, help ease their time and loneliness." At least they were all together in the end. Reunited with lost loved ones and in the presence of the Sun God. She was sure they were all welcomed with open arms, the worries and troubles of life left behind. But to be stuck here, in this plane and unable to be seen, she couldn't imagine it. Because surely, that would be the only way the dead would stay here. Maybe they'd have regrets they wanted to fulfill, she could help them.

He smiled. She had not even hesitated to answer him and he realized right then and then what a pure and gentle she-cat she was. She didn't need to be out hunting and fighting because she was doing what she thought was important right here and right now in this graveyard. She had been kind to him and understanding of him and for the first time... he didn't feel lonely and it was because of her. She had a way with cats and their hearts and he wondered if she knew that or if she was oblivious to it. "You do that for the living too, you know." His voice was low and soft but still loud enough to hear.
Her? There was no way. She hardly spoke to anyone in camp; they all were under the same impression that if even her own mother didn't trust her or want her why should they. She was flawed, her ideas were never her own, things from her perspective were wrong. Didn't he know that? Everyone else did. Foxstar had even named her based on that: Flawedperspective. Maybe he was just trying to be nice. It wasn't like there was anything special about her or that she did anything special. "I..I don't understand? How can I be helping people when I can barely hunt on my own or even help on patrols? All I do is the task assigned to me by mother, and only that because not even apprentice need waste their time on such a simple task." Apprentices had much more important things to do than to tend to the graveyard. They could actually provide something for the clan, were worth something. She wasn't.
