Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The warrior sighed. He wasn't thrilled about the situation, but now that they had a more important task at paw, he was focused on business-only mode again. "Okay, then we'll set you free," he replied briskly, "but if you try and run, or if you're lying, I will line my nest with your fur and feed you to the kittens." He stepped forward and started untangling the mess.

Banepaw couldn't help his unimpressed little snort, which he immediately tried to cover with a cough. "Yeah," he assured the two warriors, "no running, got it."
Dawnmemories kind of wanted to keep the annoying furball trapped forever, but she just huffed and padded over to the tom, inspecting the tangles carefully. "We'll need to chew some dock, the juices will make you slippery. But, it's going to hurt a bit and you're most likely going to lose a few chunks of fur."
Sootstep had reached into the tangle and was fighting with it when Banepaw snorted at him. He accidentally bonked him with a thorny branch. "Where are we going to find dock? We can just tear him out and if he loses a leg or to, so be it," he volunteered. Still, he pulled his paws back and gave up the struggle for the moment.

Banepaw let out a yelp and glared at Sootstep accusingly when the branch hit him, adding with a fair amount of venom for a trapped cat, "I'd prefer to keep my legs, thankyouverymuch."
Dawnmemories rolled her eyes at the two toms before saying, "be right back," and sprinting off towards camp. She knew dock grew in leafy areas with other plants, and she also knew there was some east of camp. It wasn't hard for her to find and she'd collected a bunch and was bounding back to the toms in no time. The dock was already releasing juice and it felt a bit slimy in her mouth as she went along, thoroughly grossing her out and leaving her with a strange near-drowning feeling.
"You should have thought of that before you trespassed, then," Sootstep growled. He paced restlessly until the she-cat returned, casting anxious glances at the imprisoned apprentice. He didn't like the idea of Dawnmemories wandering off alone and had to shake it off; he had no reason to be worried about her, she hunted on her own all the time. Still, he was relieved when she returned.
"Great. Looks tasty, I bet you'll enjoy licking this off your fur later," he mused to the apprentice. "Do you we just rub it on him?"

She narrowed her eyes playfully at Sootstep as she spat out the leaves, the green juices staining her red fur, "we chew it up and spit it on him, so take a bunch." She pushed a batch to him and took hers over to the apprentice, chewing it up thoroughly before spitting it into his fur.
Banepaw squirmed, feeling queasy, "ughhh, it feels so slimy. Gross," he wiggled and felt his fur slide a bit from the tangles.
Sootstep took a mouthful of leaves and started to chew them, making a face at the nasty taste on his tongue. He spat them onto the apprentice's fur and started to rub it in.
"Ugh, you ower us big time for putting this in our mouth," he grumbled.

"I'm the one with slime in my fur!" Banepaw responded, squirming and pulling a little more from the tangle. His skin stung were the juices touched his many small cuts from the thorns.
"And you're the one that got stuck here in the first place," he retorted. "Hold still." Sootstep worked the herbs around the tom's hip, then grabbed him and started to yank him free.

Dawnmemories said nothing, letting Sootstep handle the aggravating apprentice, and grabbed Banepaw by his shoulder, helping Sootstep dislodge the cat. Once he was free Dawnmemories spat out a bit of leaf slime and fixed the young cat with a stern look.
Banepaw hissed as they yanked him through the bush but couldn't help his look of gratitude once free. He shook his fur, splattering leaf slime over the other cats, before gazing back at them wordlessly.
His claws flexed in the soil as leaf debris splattered all over his fur, and it took all his restraint to refrain from shredding Banepaw. "Okay, you're free," Sootstep growled stiffly. "Show us where you met this queen, right now."
