Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"That's the way," Graythorn meowed. "Now be sure to stop if you get any sharp pains. If it's just sore or achy, that's alright." He didn't want her to damage her leg any further. "Do that exercise five more times and then I'll rub your leg down."
"I will," Lionesspaw replied as she continued to do her next four stretches. After she was done, she laid down and called out to Graythorn " I'm done."

"That's good," the gray tabby medicine cat meowed. He placed his fore paws on Lionesspaw's leg and began to massage the muscles from the top of her leg down toward her paw. "It may be sore now but the more you stretch and get it rubbed down, the sooner it'll get better."

"Keep up with your exercises and you'll be training again soon," Graythorn meowed. "I have another idea too that may help speed your healing if you want to give it a try. Do you know how to swim?"

"Good then," the gray tabby meowed. "Follow me to the little stream just outside the camp." He was pleased to hear Lionesspaw was able to swim, a rarity for cats except for WaterClan and BrookClan cats who lived like fishes. "This is something I learned from a WaterClan medicine cat at one of our gatherings." He moved closer to the apprentice in case she needed assistance.

When Graythorn reached the creek he found an area that was deeper a bit down stream, a favorite spot for cats to cool off during Greenleaf, however now in Leaffall there were no other cats there. The water flowed into a small pool then continued onward toward the main stream that flows down the middle of the territory. "Here's a good place," the gray tabby tom meowed. "Swimming will exercise your leg without overly straining it." He put a paw in the water then shook it off vigorously water droplets spraying off it. "It's cold but that should help it too."

"Yes, it should help with any pain you may have," he replied. "It's a good thing the weather is still warm. You couldn't do this if it was colder." Graythorn looked to the sky and wondered when the cold temperatures would be here to stay. Leafbare was not a season he was looking forward to. The cold season always brought more problems for cats and more work for medicine cats. "When you swim try to stretch your leg."
