Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Well then keep up, slow poke!" Mudkit called back at Lightningkit over his shoulder before he slammed right into a tree. "Ow." He mewed casually as he stepped back, rubbing his tiny muzzle.
She was bout to speed up to catch up to her two siblings but had to stop and laugh when Mudkit proceeded to run straight into a tree after making fun of her. "Serves you right!" she said to him.
Daisykit joined Lightningkits laughter at poor Mudkits expense. "Watch where you're going next time fox-brain!" She couldn't help but let out a loud squawking laugh as she doubled over. Being that the siblings were definitely not far enough from camp, her laugh was as much of an alarm as anything could be.
“I- I’m sorry... That was just too funny!!” Daisykit managed to peep out with a muffled voice through Mudkits paw. She shook her head to shake his paw off her mouth. “Where we going first?”
"Well, we need to decide quick! With your loud laughing, they are bound to have noticed that we are gone by now!" He hissed, scanning the forest. "I don't know where anything is but we should get as far away from the camp as possible before they find us!"
After looking around where they were standing for a few moments, Lightningkit finally decided on a seemingly random direction, that unknowing to the kits would take them right into the marshy area around the lake. "Let's go that way!" she suggested and took off in that direction, not bothering to wait for what her siblings did or said.
After a while of running without much aim or direction, Lightningkit came to a halt if only because she was too tired to keep running. She dropped into a sitting position and panted, trying to regain her breath. "Do you think we've gone far enough?" she asked her two siblings.
Daisykit panted heavily as she skid to a halt. "I don't know! But I'm tired and hungry now!" She sat and pouted. Why did they leave without getting any food first? That was sort of a dumb idea.
Mudkit skidded to a halt beside his sisters, panting. "I don't even know where we are or where the camp is..." He scanned the forest but all he could see was trees and all he could smell was the musty and sweet smells of he forest. "I think we are lost..." He gulped. "Maybe we should try going back the way we came?" He turned but each way he turned, everything looked the same.
Lightningkit looked around the forest as well and to be honest, while she was pretty sure she could say which direction they had come from, she knew that they hadn't stayed in a straight line if only because having to constantly dodge trees and bushes made them veer off. "I think so to." she admitted, sounding a little scared.
Suddenly, there was movement in the bushes. Mudkit stood protectively in front of his sisters. "What was that?" His eyes darted at every sound that seemed to be scattered around them. Like something was scurrying around them in a circle. After a few moments, a large ginger cat stepped out of the shadows. Her fur was dark red with dark amber swirls in them. She had several long scars between her amazing turquoise eyes. She looked very similar to their father. Almost looking at a complete reflection of him.
The ginger she-cat moved closer, her turquoise eyes narrowed. "Your a long way from home. What are you doing out here so far into the forest alone?" Her voice was surprisingly soft and soothing.
Lightningkit was a little startled by the approach of the strange she-cat. She looked up at her and the two were almost identical in appearance from the dark ginger fur with lighter swirls and unusual turquoise eyes. "Who are you?" she asked. "We went exploring, now we're lost."
"Why do you look like papa?" Daisykit blurted out, large golden eyes matching the strangers. She flicked a tail to her siblings in annoyance, puffing out her small chest, "We don't need anyone's help getting home! I can lead us all by myself!" She huffed.
"My name isn't important. However, you three should not be out here. It's getting dark. Big, scary monsters come out at dark, you know" she mewed, ignoring Daisykit's question, a smile crossing her face when she brought up the monsters.
"I'm not scared of any monsters!" She piped even louder, almost like she was challenging the stranger. She got up and walked closer to the scarred she-cat, golden eyes looking right at turquoise. "Who are you! Stop messing with us! We're not babies, y'know!"
