Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Daisykit sighed. She pawed at the flowers in front of her, bored out of her mind. What did it take to find a playmate around here? Her golden eyes scanned the camp. No one. Nothing. She sighed once more.
A small bundle of dark red fur was hiding in the shadows near Daisykit waiting for her to let her guard down. Deciding it had been enough time, the kit leaped from hiding and bowled Daisykit over. Lightningkit, Daisykit's sister, grinned happily as she pinned her sister down. "Hah! Got you!"
Silvershine laid in the sun nearby, watching her kits play. She twitched her whiskers in amusement as Lighteningkit tackled Daisykit. She was tired, she usually was out at night. However, she knew there was more interesting things for the kits to do during the day.
Mudkit bounced over to his sisters, his silver and brown fur fluffed out like a hedgehog. "Can I play too?" His blue-grey eyes glimmered in the sunlight, giving away the excitement of the day.
"Okay!" Mudkit purred, pressing his chest to the ground and waving his tail in the air. "Just give the word, Daisystar!" He growled playfully, extending his claws though he wasnt going to use them.
When Daisykit complained about her attacking her when she wasn't ready, Lightningkit just laughed. "That was the point. You weren't supposed to be ready." she said with a grin. When Mudkit came over asking if he could join and then called Daisykit, Daisystar, Lightningkit tried to scowl at him, but it wasn't really very intimidating. "Why does she get to be leader?"
"Because I'm the strongest one!" Daisykit said matter-o-factly. Taking the lead really wasn't out of the ordinary for her, and as such she dedcided to prove her worth to her sister. Daisykit crouched on the ground and slithered around her sister, coming up from her her belly and flipping her onto her back. "See! I'm the strongest one." She ended with an almost diobolical smile and laugh.
She gave her brother a good pout. "You wanna go?!" She puffed out her chest to him, moving away from Lightningkit and bodyslamming into Mudkit. She toppled onto him and laughed loudly.
Mudkit didnt have time to react before his sister barrelled into him. He let out a shriek of surprise as he rolled with his sister. Then he laughed and pawed at her, "ill get you for that!" He giggled as he kicked her off and then pounced on her, pinning her down. "Help me Lighteningkit! We must take her prisoner! Our leader has turned on us!"
Lightningkit watched her two siblings play around before Mudkit called her for help so she decided to jump on the two of them while Mudkit was pinning down Daisykit. "Now I got you both."
Daisykit growled as she thrashed her body around, but to no avail. Starting to whimper and feel small tears roll down her temples, she whined, "Mooommy!"
Mudkit let out an "oof" when Lightningkit jumped on them.
Silvershine rushed over and plucked Lightningkit off first and then Mudkit. "That is enough. One of you are going to get hurt." She scolded gently. She turned to Daisykit who had been at the bottom of the pile. "Daisykit, are you alright?"
Mudkit sat down crossly and huffed, "Daisykit has to ruin all the fun."
Silvershine cast Mudkit a stern look before turning a soft gaze back on Daisykit, waiting for her to respond to her question.
The little red tabby sniffled a bit as she nuzzled her mother. She cast Mudkit and Lightningkit a glare, hissing, "That was two on one, and you guys are bigger than me!! No fair!!" She huffed loudly.
Silvershine nuzzled her daughter and gave her a couple comforting licks between the ears. "Now, now, Lightningkit. If this were you, I'd be acting the same way. And the same goes to you, Mudkit. Both of you should know better" the silver tabby queen gently scolded though there was a meaningful edge to her tone. "Now all three of you run off and play nicely and dont make me have to put each of you in time out." She turned away and padded over to a sunny spot by the nursery in clear view of her kits.
Instead of blaming his sister, Mudkit looked at his siblings with an idea, "why dont we play moss ball? No one ever got hurt playing that game!"
Lightningkit listened to her mother scold them before nodding in agreement. When Mudkit suggested playing moss ball, she shrugged. "Guess that sounds good."
Daisykit puffed out her chest as she stood as tall as her small body would let her next to her mother. At the mention of moss ball, her golden eyes lit up and she bolted towards her siblings. "Me! Meee!!! I wanna play!!"
