Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Alright," he replied amiably. It was a short answer, but not because he didn't trust her - there really wasn't much worth sharing. "How have you been, Seablossom?"
"Well, were organizing that intervention you suggested. My uncle thinks it'll do something, though were not sure how well it'll work, but it'll be something." Better than nthing at least. "It's scheduled for in a few days, so we'll see. Would you like to met up after it's happened? It was your idea afterall." She was rambling, anything to kepe talking to the handsome tom. Seablossom found after they'd parted ways last time, that he was all she could think about. That and the time they'd spent together that first day they met.
She was taking his advice? He was thrilled and nervous at the same time - that was a lot of responsibility, and if things went wrong he'd partially blame himself. Crownglass didn't regret telling her, though: he was hopeful it would work out just fine. "Good luck, you'll do great," he assured her with a purr, pricking his dark ears, and trying not to look too eager at the thought of seeing her again. "I really would like to meet you again, if you don't mind... just so I know what happened. I'm just curious." Does that sound like I'm too nosey? I hope not.
"Of course! It was your idea after all." Though, that was only one of her reasons. The she-cat was getting attached to the tom, even though she knew better, had seen what cross-clan relationship had done to her father and yet, she couldn't help it. Seablossom woudl blame her father for having an easy heart, one that took one look at the tom and decided it was in love. Her crush was just that a crush but she knew if she allowed it to fester like a sore it'd become worse. She'd fall, just as her father had and it scared her.
"Thank you." His golden eyes were bright with warmth. The ebony tomcat swished his tail, resisting the urge to step forward and closer to her, and instead shifted to stare out around them. "It really is nice down here," he meowed quietly, after a moment had passed. "I've never seen a territory like this up near SummerClan. Everything there is just grass, green and gold, and some bright flowers, and maybe a tree or two on the hills. This is different. It's nice."
(lol I see you found the thread. We can skip whenever you want since Peanutblossom is dead now and Sealossom is the deputy now. Figured we could do something on that in the next timeskip and tie in when he decides to move to EC, if he's still doing that i think taht's what we talked about doing but idk anymore)
Seablossom smiled, "yes, it's always been pleasent here growing up. What's SummerClan like? I'm afriad I've never had the privalage of leaving the clan's territory as you have." She'd been bound to the clan caring for her family, more than she had even for herself. But her curiousity grew at the hearing about the other clans. Did they function the same way hers did? Surely close, but with slight differences, of course. Little things that told about their personality as a clan more than anything. "I'll be going to the next gathering of course, but I'd like to be prepared to know what and who I'll see there." Her eyes sparkled at the thought of the gathering, but also at hearing him tell about about the lands and cats he's seen. She could never imagine leaving EarthClan, but that didn't stop her from wondering about the other lands and the cats that lived there.
(yes surprise xD i saw it and was like "... hey, look! the thread we talked about!" and that sounds good man every time he comes back she gets more impressive)
"SummerClan?" A smile fluttered across his expression, warm, but hesitant. It was a beautiful place, but it held bad memories for him, down to the soil underpaw. "Well, it's warm and sunny, and there aren't a lot of trees so it's open to the sky. There's open hills and long grass and low scrubs, with lots of flowers, and a few rivers flowing from the lake. It really is nice. There's some tunnels..." he hesitated, glancing over at her. Should he be revealing that close of a secret to the enemy? He switched subjects. "... and there's a waterfall, though I don't usually go over there."
(absolutely! she's gotta keep him on his toes and keep impressing him lol)
Seablossom's eyes gleamed. "A waterfall? I've never seen one, but I've heard of them. Are they as lovely as they say?"They were said to be such romantic places to visit, she'd heard stories of forbidden lovers finding each other there, again and again, only to be caught later on.
(he's gonna come back one day and "by the way, now I'm Seastar, leader of the 14 clans")
Crownglass considered. "It's very loud, and wet. But I guess from a distance it's pretty." The spray, once you got close, was freezing. In the warm moons that wasn't always a bad thing, but it was when it got colder out.
(lol yesss! but let's not drag this on that long, it'd take her some time to round up all the clans and get them under her control and I'd like her to have kits by then lol)
Well, maybe not like the stories she'd heard then. Seablossom lost a little bit of her smile as well as the excitement of hearing about another territory. "Oh..." It was a little disappointing to hear that the tales she'd been told had to be fake now. Of course, she'd known they were fake as some of the details hadn't made sense, even to someone who'd never left the territory. "What about the land you travel through to get here?" Surely, there was something interesting about that area.
He felt a little bad about letting her down over the waterfall. "Maybe it just isn't as interesting because I grew up with it," he suggested to her, trying to bring back that spark in her eye. "The way here? I had to pass through the edge of the mountains so I didn't trespass on SpringClan land. There's a nice path there so we can get to the full-moon gathering and mooncreek, so that was pretty nice. Peaceful, but a little strange... the wind isn't as quite in the trees, but the birds are so loud!"
(no idea if there mountains or hills, even went and checked the old site for the maps and I'm still not sure so going with this)
"Oh, that sounds interesting. We have hills here, but a mountain. You say they're in SpringClan?." She'd have to ask a cat from SpringClan at the gathering about the mountains, they'd surely know more about them. Seablossom smiled, "EarthClan has a few hills and the river runs through it but it's mostly just trees and then the gorge, of course, but there's nothing special about it."
He nodded. "They're at the base of the mountain, really, but they're all around. SummerClan is by the mountain too." He tilted his head, then turned and looked past her at the gorge, fascinated. "It looks pretty... crazy. I've never seen a gorge before this one."
"Really? It surrounds the whole territory. There are only a few places where you can cross the border where trees have fallen across or the gorge is smaller. Oh, there's a bridge near the gathering place to make it easier to get there." Seablossom gazed over at the gorge as well, thinking about her and her uncle's plan that would happen in a few days.
(we're running out of things to say at least i am lol)
The ebony tom shook his head, trying to imagine it. "That sounds... really hard. I guess there's less border you need to worry about patrolling, though; nobody's jumping across that! Might fall in, and that looks like a long fall."
Fall in. Yea that didn't sound good. She could remember thinking that the last time they met and she only hoped he'd see her now. They'd promised to see each again in a months time to discuss the meeting she and her uncle had planned with her father. Today was that day. And she hoped that he could still make, that he even remembered their promise. Seablossom watched the horizon, eyes scanning for the tom she'd come to love. Love. It was something she realized not long after they'd last met, just a few days before...before the meeting with her father.
The recent death of his leader had sent things into a uproar, and though most cats had quickly settled down to eagerly anticipate Ravenstar's ascension, not all had. His friend Hawkcreek had been muttering for a while now that their clan had been cursed by StarClan, and took this as yet another sign that he was right. Crownglass was troubled to realize he had begun to believe him. Only tragedy seemed to be left for their clan, and his memories were slowly corrupted as he looked back and saw the gloomy threads of fate woven through them. If their ancestors were dead-set on driving them out... well, maybe it was a sign he should follow.
He turned this over in his mind as he wandered down the long path to EarthClan. The dry air and quiet journey gave him plenty of time to think, perhaps too much, but at last he was near. His paws started to thrum in excitement despite their exhaustion from the trek, and he picked up his pace, sliding down a hill and jogging toward the feline. "Hey," Crownglass purred, golden eyes round with adoration. "You came!"
Rushing forward, and in a very uncharacteristic way for her, Seablossom brushed her pelt against his letting a comforting purr out. She wasn't sure if it was for herself or just because she'd grown to miss the tom and adore their met ups. Tears had tried to spring to her eyes, but she quickly shut her eyes and buried herself against his side, almost hoping he wouldn't ask. It would be better if he didn't know, if he didn't know she'd killed her father. That she'd been there when he'd fallen and hadn't moved to try and save him, body frozen in shock.
Crownglass rumbled in surprise at the sudden contact that faded into a calm purr to echo her own. He bent his head down to nuzzle her fondly, but was startled to feel a wetness in his fur and realized she was crying. Not quite the affectionate greeting he'd imagined. "...Seablossom?" he asked softly. "Are you alright? What's wrong?" The words left him without a thought; he was genuinely concerned about her. She had seemed so strong and happy before.

(So I thought I replied to this guess not)
"It's fine don't worry." Her words were rushed and full of tears and she descended into a full-on sob. Oh, how she could take back everything. To have never have made that meeting. To have never yelled at him. Maybe then her father would still be alive. Seablossom just sobbed harder, buried against the tom's side that she'd started to fall in love with, undeserving of his comfort.
