Her pelt incredibly warm as he questioned her and she shook her head as another hiccuped slipped past her lips. "No, I just get them sometimes, that's all." She tried to lie but it was a weak lie and she knew it. Ravenstar turned around and began walking with a flick of her tail for him to follow. On top of everything, now she was embarrassed and couldn't bring herself to be honest about the old condition that hadn't surfaced for seasons.
She hiccuped loudly and her ear twitched nervously, "there's no reason for me to be nervous." She continued to only make her situation worse and dig a deeper dirt hole in which she was buried.
Fogeye really couldn’t help it. It was a bit adorable. At least, he thought that it was. He gave a half smile, but allowed the leader to take the lead. Maybe she did miss him, maybe he made her nervous? It kind of boosted his ego just slightly, almost making him feel a little on the cocky side.

"I think I ate too much before coming, now that I think about it." She continued to ramble on. How could he possibly have this affect on her? In front of her clan, her warriors, even graythorn, she always managed to remain calm and composed, she always knew what to do and what to say. This grey warrior comes walking up besides her and suddenly she can't breathe properly or talk straight? It was unbelievable. He clouded her mind like the best sickness that could ever happen to a cat. "I hope there haven't been any terrible winter storms up the mountain later?" She murmured, not entirely sure what to talk about or say.
After a while, one could grow bored or tired of pretending that something wasn’t there. Fogeye was usually a rather quiet and stoic tom. Yet... there were ways to bring him out of his shell. Suddenly feeling very bold, the tom sped up slightly and stopped her in her tracks by standing in front of the feline, his side towards her and head turned in her direction.

She was very surprised by his sudden change and boldness and she stopped with one black paw lifted, grey eyes blinking a few times. "Yes?" She asked, tilting her head. She felt a sense of trust towards him for some reason so she couldn't imagine he had treacherous intentions so what exactly was going on?
He could see the flash of surprise cross her features, and it made his blood pump faster, his cheeks heating. It really only took drive to bring the tom from his shell. The usually not-so-nice guy, could change. He was a rather largely built cat, so he had to, just slightly, look down at her. His cloudy eye definitely offset to the other, but she had never mentioned his one-sided blindness.
He let his tail twitch, brushing her shoulder. “I quite frankly, don’t like ignoring how I’m feeling. Let’s be honest, hm?” That was talkative for him. More words than she had maybe ever heard him say.

She blinked a few times, nodding. Adrenaline suddenly seemed to pump through her. She was known to be an honest cat, always, and hated to lie to others. If he asked for her honesty, she would answer. Only when it came to clan politics could she actually benefit from lying for any reason. "Of course, what do I have to lie about?" She responded smoothly. "Is there something specific that's on your mind?" She asked, ignoring her heartbeat which was rapidly increasing.
The tom gazed at her, brows raised. “You.” Fogeye could feel his blood pumping, and the dark thought of his creeped in. What if she didn’t feel as he did? It was a total possibility, that he was nothing more than a simple friend to the feline. He supposed, this might give her the opportunity to deny him.

It only took one word for her heart to take off at a crazy and wild pace. She was afraid he could hear it, her nerves and excitement practically tangible. "What about me?" She asked, afraid to admit he had been on her mind far too long in an unusual way. She knew this feeling, she had felt this way before. The excitement, the enjoyment, the desire to spend more time with a specific cat. But, this time, it was not with a cat of Summerclan. He was Winterclan so she felt more of a desire to approach it carefully. After all, she was not just a warrior but a leader responsible for keeping her clan together.
“You’re all I can think about.” He explained, his good eye never leaving her gaze. The tom had never truly felt love, but just maybe... this could be it? Could it? They had only met twice now, but surely... maybe..?

Her gaze held his for a long moment before speaking. Could she be honest about her thoughts and feelings? She was summerclan's leader now. She had more to consider beyond her happiness... maybe... maybe... there was no denying she had thought about him constantly over these past few weeks. "I have thought about you a lot myself. I wonder if you were safe, if you were eating well, if you were sleeping well," she finally responded. It was out in the open now and she could not take it back.
Fogeye found himself mustering a purr. “So the feelings are mutual, then..?” He wasn’t really a lovey dovey type of cat. This was perhaps the closest he could get to speaking about his feelings aloud. It was a start, though.

(I was out of town and then super sick but alas I have returned!)
"You know... things have been crazy. I never expected to meet you, I never truly prepared myself to become leader to Summerclan and I don't really know what's going on in my own head sometimes but... yes. My feelings are mutual and I want to get to know you better. I won't deny that. I want to know more about you and spend more time to you." She felt that his purr was a good sign and she couldn't help but purr along with him.
“Then meet me here again. Two days from now. I’ll keep seeing you...” He mewed, his eyes shifting about her face. They were close, his breath hot against her cheeks as he spoke, but didn’t seem as if he were going to move away.

"Two days from now." She repeated back to him with a firm but slight nod. Her grey eyes sparkled and she could not keep herself from purring. Ravenstar rubbed her cheek against his gently, "Don't forget about me know." She teased softly.
“How could I possibly forget my raven coated queen?” He mewed referring to her dark pelt. Fogeye have a flick of his tail, before turning and bounding off. He didn’t have much time to rid himself of her scent, and he knew it was time to get going before it was noticed that he had gone. Living so far away, he had a bit of a journey to make.

She blushed a bit at his affectionate words but she could not deny the heat spreading across her chest or that she liked and even appreciated it. She watched him disappear with a smile on her face and she groomed her chest fur a bit in her embarrassment. It was exciting, even if as a leader she should not be meeting with cats from other clans or becoming so close and affectionate with them.

There had been all kinds of problems and strife in the two days between their meetings but now that the time was here her heart was beating quickly and her paws carried her to their meeting spot with happiness and excitement. This probably could not last long, but she would enjoy what they had for as long as she feasibly could.
