Demoted Lionwhisper (Consuela ) from Knight to Warrior for continued blatant disrespect against Wintrystar regarding the treatment of Bluejay and her kits Chestnutspeak (consuela) from Pupil to Banished by Earlybloom for unknown reasons
Plot Recap: Things started great between DayClan and WinterClan. An alliance was formed over the ideal of helping both clans with a population problem through a Blind Dating Event. Things stayed good through that event, and then it hit the fan. Bluejay, creation of the Sun God, a demon in cat skin, an emblem of chaos. She arrived at our borders, asking to come in and live with us. But we could not allow that. Our kits were dying, and here stood the devil herself. Wintrystar had her locked up, imprisoned, only for the demon to later birth a litter of kits. Named by Wintrystar herself for their demon blood, the kits were taken to be raised by Dottymask, far away from their birth mother. Not long later Glowstar came asking about her daughter, the demon. She learned from Wintrystar herself, who later decreed war against DayClan, that Bluejay was in prison and her kits taken away from her. Angered, words were exchanged and war declared by both parties with Wintrystar being the one to officially declare war. Meanwhile the kits born from the DayClan Blind Dating event were dying. Their furs were short haired, not fit for the cold of WinterClan, and thus they perished early on in life. This merely helped emphases the point that WinterClan needed to be filled with full blooded cats over cross clan ones as then there were no worries about survival due to physical appearance such as short fur. But what now? WinterClan was without kits, aside from the demon's spawn, and DayClan was thriving. Their kits from the event hadn't died, so why not take what was theirs? WinterClan latched an attack on the DayClan camp, drawing warriors out to fight against a Distraction Team. While a second team, the Extraction Team, went in and stole all the long haired kits as well as a queen and carried them back to WinterClan.
As the war between the two clans continues, so do the problems for WinterClan. As her kits are come upon promoted, Bluejay requests to visit them or they to visit her or even for her to attend the ceremonies as they receive their mentors and new names. It was not allowed. A week following the ceremonies, things take a turn for the worst with the weather. Most believe it is Bluejay, but no evidence has been presented and those who are against the harsh treatment of the Bluejay's kits are arguing that it is the Gods punishing them. Bluejay's kits have harsh names, and harsh mentors, and harsh lives. As a result, some believe it is this treatment that has caused their further problems, while others blame the demon Bluejay for what has happened.
Strange things had been happening as of late. Bluejay’s kits were promoted this moon, and since then, the world has seemed...different. The winds were picking up at random times and then dying off as though they’d never happened. No snow had fallen in nearly a week, an oddity that was concerning to many. The temperature actually rose a few degrees, maybe even ten or more, causing snow patches to melt. Prey was scarce and predators out more looking for their own dinner. It was odd, and Wintrystar had no idea what was going on. The clan was confused, distressed, hungry. Her mind wondered with questions, nights were spent in prayer and days in meetings with the Blessed. Something had to be done. But what was the cause of it all? A clan meeting had been scheduled for the next morning, to alert the clan that “yes, soemthing would be done. Yes a solution would be found. Yes, they know what’s going on.” But they could t answer those questions just yet. Couldn’t quail those feared worries, and questioning minds. For the Blessed had no answers themselves. A meeting if their own was conducted, held in the den of the Sovereign, her mate and Blessed present. The moon was slowly lowering in the sky, giving way to daybreak, the clan that awaited their words. “Snowbunny, have the Gods conversed with you? Have they told you what is happening? Why?” She hopes for an answer, something to give their people and quail their fears.
The Sovereign had her own theory though, one she was sure not all would agree with. Since the promotion of her kits, Bluejay had been requesting to see them more, had even requested to be present at the ceremony to witness it. Wintrystar would not have it though, choosing instead to keep the separation between her and her kits least the meager progress towards them being worthy WinterClan cats be dissolved before her eyes by their corrupt and monster of a mother. Some progress had come about the kits, even with their blood so tainted with a monster’s. Especially since Quiveringkit’s return from his isolation outside of camp for a week’s time. As they spoke, Wintrystar anxiously awaiting word form the Gods from Snowbunny, the winds picked up once more. Far more violent than before, and grew even more so. Soon they could be heard from inside the den, like dying cats calling out in anguish. Anger was rising in Wintrystar, built from frustration at the situation and the determination that it truly was Bluejay causing all of this. The Sovereign had already voiced her theory once before in a previous meeting, she merely waited to see if Snowbunny had heard from their Gods since then and what their verdict was. If nothing had been heard, then she was chose to believe the theory and act accordingly.
(Feel free to reply, having your cat come out into the Violent Wind Storms that are starting up a week following the Ceremonies. A clan meeting was supposed to happen at dawn but the winds have picked up and interrupted the meeting between Wintrystar and her Blessed, feel free to have your cat physically interrupt this meet as well.)
Snowbunny was sopping wet as he sat among the blessed. Earlier in the moon he protected a demon kit from Dottymask when she wanted to purify Dirtykit out of being a demon. He refused to do any further exorcisms to the kit because the physical toll on the body was too much. But when Dottymask wouldn't stop the ritual he had struck her. Afterwards Wintrystar sentenced him to prison for a moon due to his traitorous behavior. Unlike his early prisoner experience he was placed in solitude inside of a freezing den. Now that the temperatures had gone down the snow had melted forcing him to sleep in slush and cold water. He had been permitted to temporarily leave his isolation to do his job as knight of the stars. However he didn't have much advice for Wintrystar, he had received no signs, "I'm sorry, there are no signs my sovereign," He said, his head lowered in her presence. He had learned to show more respect since his sentencing.
Howlingnight smiled briefly at Wintrystar, catching her gaze and nodding to Snowbunny. Signalling that he had dealt with Snowbunny well given his newfound ability to show some proper WinterClan respect. He was seated outside of the den keeping watch on the crowd outside.
Outside Dottymask had commanded her demon litter to watch her pureblooded litter. Now that Bluejay's kits were apprentices they were more than fit to watch all five of their siblings. Of course, regardless of how her older kits felt they would do a proper job at it or else. As a wicked kit like them there was no outgrowing a few lashes to the back.
Fluffykit sat in the nursery, but was eager to leave the den and see what all the commotion was about. She wanted to be where the action, but her big older siblings outnumbered her pretty well. She scowled her them, she should get her way and be able to watch what was going on.
The winds howled, picking up speed and strength as they moved through camp. Stones were moving, fall pine cones and needles stuck in whirlwinds. It was as though the heavens were furious, but why? For what reason. Wintrystar rose from her place in the meeting with the Blessed, moved silently towards the entrance of her den and took notice as the winds turned violent. Was this the Gods message? Or....was this a demon’s wrath? Wintrystar’s eyes turned sharply towards the prison den, where she knew Bluejay was located. Her stomach turned with fear at what the demon could do, but refused to give I to her demands.“If the Gods have not spoken then they must agree with me. It is Bluejay who is causing all of our problems, and most currently, the weather issues. Look as she calls the winds to her in violence!” She used her paw to motion towards the world outside her den, where kits were being knocked over, dead prey scattered from the strength of the winds. A tree branch feel down in the middle of camp as she spoke. The leader of the clan rushed down to try and force a late back into their dens, where, hopefully, they would be safe. “Take cover, WinterClan! Take cover and know this a Demon’s work!!”
"But isn't that good news, Wintrystar? Just give Bluejay what she wants and things will get better. Or I guess you could keep praying to your Gods to solve your problems. Because if they can't even do that, then what's the point in following them at all?"
Sinfulpaw's promotion and rumors of her mother's attempts to see her had lead the demon-blooded she-cat to speak up. She was no stranger to punishment. She knew what was coming for her. But she was going to say what she wanted anyway, seeing as the Clan couldn't see her as anything less than what they already thought of her, and she was strong enough to deal with whatever the cost of her insubordination was... which she hoped was some time in prison.
"Heavenlykit, do something about your servant!" Rosemarykit hissed, elbowing her sister hard in the ribs. Her Brokenpaw and Fallenpaw would never be so rude! strawberrycupid
Silverfury smirked but said nothing.
Brindlepaw looked like she wanted to say something but her sister, Rosepaw, stopped her, "Rosepaw... I just can't watch this... We need to stop her before..." racer
Stormyblizzard was now beside Wintrystar, she had struggled to push forward against the strength of the winds but somehow managed to appear at the sovereigns side. "Wintrystar, how do you know for sure this is Bluejays doing, just because the gods are not speaking now does not mean that their silence is a confirmed answer." This wasnt the first time she had spoken out about Bluejay and her kits, like Lionwhisper she did not agree with their treatment despite the fact that they were demons. She couldn't stand to let the innocent be harmed no matter what they may be. She knew this was a bad time to once again question her leader, but now was the moment the clan would surely turn blame on the cat in question and fully strengthen their belief that it was the demons doing. pao
Toxicbird slipped out of the warriors den and looked around, the wind nearly blowing the small she-cat backwards but she dug her claws into the ground and held her ground. She heard Wintrystars voice ring out, declaring this distaste to be the fault of Bluejay and she howled out in agreement. "I say we get rid of her before she gets us all killed!" Her big amber eyes were narrowed and turned towards the demon children, if their mother didnt succeed then surely they would try next.
Brokenpaw was at the nursery, ordered to watch Dottymasks young litter, she of course didnt want to seeing as the little kits were almost as bad as their mother and father but she knew better than to disobey so openly. "Dont even think about it Fluffykit, Dottymask said to stay here." She looked at the kit and shook her head, ignoring the scowl on her face. Faith

Talonstrike and Flickeringflames had hunkered down together. The vicious winds whipped their fur around and into their faces so often that Flickeringflames had opted to keep her eyes closed for the majority of the time. At one point, the wind had grown so fierce that it had knocked her off her paws, and nearly took Talonstrike down as well. It had all but pinned Flickeringflames down at one point, and if her brother hadn't dragged her out of the way, she would have been crushed by the fallen tree branch. Shaken, the dark chestnut colored warrior pressed herself against her brother's side.
The two siblings listened carefully as their clanmates spoke. Talonstrike nodded his head, but Fickeringflames had a feeling it wasn't because he agreed. The large silver tom was loyal to a fault. He couldn't understand why his clan would treat a nursing queen and her kits in such a way, or even take the kits from their mother. It was clear they weren't loved by their foster parents. Talonstrike had heard the rumours of what Dottymask had done to Dirtypaw. It wasn't right. He didn't believe that is what the gods wanted. But out of loyalty to his clan, the large tom said nothing. Yet his sister stared at the tree branch, the one that had nearly squashed her and for some reason her mind flashed to the little student in the prison cell. She raised her voice, hoping that it would be heard past the howling of the wind. "What if the gods are angry with us? For the student in the prison cell? Isn't she the granddaughter of our Goldenstar? It was he who led her here, and we've thrown her into a prison cell! Or what if it's for the way we've treated Bluejay and her kits? Like them or not they are the blood of a god aren't they? I don't think that this weather is the cause of Bluejay...! I think the gods are angry with us!"
"Couldn't agree more Talonstrike, may as well figure out if the storms get worse then," Howlingnight said as he picked up Sinfulpaw by the scruff and began hauling her to the prison for her outburst. Which really, was a mercy considering their normal punishments could range anywhere from being publicly humiliated to mutilated. In Wintrystar's current mood though he was probably saving Sinfulpaw from one heck of a beating from the leader. However he didn't drag her into the prison, only stopping at the mouth of the entrance. He considered letting her off with a warning, he didn't want to deal with her in this moment, but follow through was everything so instead he gestured for her to walk the rest of the way.
Snowbunny hunched over in the cold winds as he listened to everyone guess left and right what could be the cause. For as spiritual as he was he was certain that the winds were simply a bad storm. But Wintrystar was relentless as ever, "What will you do to her?" He asked warily. He felt weaker and weaker as the cold winds created frost against his wet body.
Fluffykit looked at Brokenpaw sternly for talking down to her, but there was enough recognition that Brokenpaw was still older than her. She might have authority over her, but she was bound to be more practical so instead she walked obediently into her nest and lied down. She was shivering from the cold winds that blew in. Even for a pelt as thick as hers the raging winds made it easy to freeze and bite at her skin. She lifted her head back up at Brokenpaw, her paw patting the empty space in the nest wanting Brokenpaw to cuddle up next to her. Demons were smelly and ugly, but Brokenpaw still had warm fur.
The last place Soullesskit wanted to be was back in the nursery, but she didn't have much of a choice with the storm. The little demons were just awful, arguably as bad as their mother. Soullesskit also didn't see herself as anyone's servant. She'd even taken to sleeping outside the camp some nights to avoid the place.
She shot Sinfulpaw a smirk before looking back to Rosemarykit. "Well, these servants can tell your mother that you were disobedient brats." Not that it would do much, but it was something. "Shut your trap and mind your business."
Her eyes narrowed on the demon brat, then on her Heir. They would both question her? Her the Sovereign of the clan? Did they not understand that she was only looking out for the better of the clan? "You fools. Give her what she wants? What next? Let her lead the clan? Allow her to destroy us? No! I shall not have it!" It was merely by the locking of her claws in to the dirt that she wasn't tossed aside by the increasingly stronger winds. Wintrystar turned on her Heir, "how do we know this is not them howling in agreement? How do we not know that they are fighting her as we speak to try and keep her powers at bay and are unable to speak to us for that reason? We can not wait until the Festival of New Stars for answers, Stormyblizzard! Bluejay's powers may have claimed us by then and then no living cats will remain to honor those who've passed." Words kept coming, form others around her, questioning, wondering, fearful of what was happening. "Mousepaw is in the process of learning our ways and proving that she is truly a descendant, we can not accept her if she a miss led cat under the Sun God. A god I remind you that has caused much chaos and destruction across the lands! I will not allow it here. I wish for our clan to be safe, safe from his hands and all others who wish us harm. If I appear cruel to a demon and her kits than so be it. But I can not have their powers being unleashed on us without restraint. Without control! They could very well have been sent by the Sun God himself to tear us apart, to destroy us from the inside out. I must be sure that does not happen, or I have failed you as a Sovereign! DO you not seen WInterClan1 I aim to protect us! Our lands are harsh, our culture is difficult, but we are string for our bloodlines, our abilities, and trust with one another. If we allowed just anyone into our ranks than we would easily become corrupt and broken. We would fall to pieces and be no more. Kits would be born, just as they were from the Blind Dating event with DayClan, with short fur and never reach apprenticeship. Do you seen WinterClan! I aim to protect, and the Gods have provide so far! They have sent cats to us, ones of great blood lines," she spoke now of Mousepaw, and two others who had yet to reveal their bloodlines to the clan, apprentice who had joined them as kits. "If the gods are angry than why have they not spoken to us? They have sent no signs? Nothing to a single cat of the Blessed!" She stopped here, allowing her words to be absorbed by those around her, echoed first by the howling winds and then any others. For a moment she ignored her Knight, focusing in her clan as they were who needed her in this moment.
Cloudywinter had seen her mate take shelter with her brother after nearly being struck down by the tree branch. Racing to her side, loyal to what the Gods have planned for her, the she-cat settled herself at Flickeringflame's other side. Prayers were sent up to the Gods thanking them for sparing her mate from an ill-fitted death. But if this be their end, by Bluejay's doing, then she would be by her wife's side during it as a loyal mate would. Hearing words come from her mate's mouth, ones speaking of a descendant of Goldenstar, she hissed out "stop talking! You do not understand yet." She hadn't revealed her own heritage, that of also being a descendant of Goldenstar, still waiting to hear the judgement of Mousepaw. This cat, she didn't seem to understand that Goldenstar's family had all been massacred, all but for a few. Her line, who had been forgotten in the mass murder, and Littlestar, a kit that was smuggled out just moments before the killings began. It was almost known as suicide to take claim to that particular family line. A death wish that Cloudywinter and her siblings did not yet wish upon themselves. If another killing happened, solely for that bloodline, than Flickeringflames would go down as well, as a mate of a Goldenstar descendant. No, the siblings had chosen to wait, to watch, and see how Mousepaw came out in the end.
Nearby, Polarblast was desperately searching the crowds. His eyes in search of his best friend, his only friend. Gods, he prayed, let her be safe in these moments. He dared not call out, least attention be placed upon him. But he watched, watched as his littles sister spoke in favor of Wintrystar, personally he was in agreement, but he had also seen and heard all about the Sun God and could understand Wintrystar's fears. The god was powerful, and nearly caused a few clans to crumple at different times. What mercy would he have for them if his wrath fell upon them? But he dare not voice them, nor did he dare voice anything as of late having just begun on the path back towards his mother's good graces.
"Ignorance is bliss, or so they say. You'll have to tell me what it's like next time I have the pleasure of your company," Sinfulpaw said dryly as she descended into the prison. Howlingnight could strike her if he wanted to, she didn't care. Everything she did - good or bad - always have the same reward. Pain. She could give them her mind like Dirtypaw, crawl after the WinterClan Warriors like a beast with a choker, avoid it best she could. Or she could stay true to who she was and make pain her currency. She had her mother's fierce soul and would not be beaten by some ignorant Clan who live their lives in fear of the unknown. She was the unknown, so she had nothing to fear. Pain was something she could conquer.
"Just... just who do you think you are!?" Rosemarykit's tail lashed as she faced down with Soulesspaw and for a moment her composure broke. Usually Dottymask was always around, this was one of the first times she'd ever been alone with the abominations, and it seemed to almost be like a light switch. They could to whatever they wanted without a disciplinarian. So that meant Rosemarykit would have to step up to the plate. She forced herself to calm down and when she opened her dark eyes a fire burned within them, "Soulesspaw, dig yourself a hole and shove your head into it until I say so. If you do that then maybe I'll forget what you just said."
"I think I'm your older sibling, and therefore smarter than you. I think Dottymask told us to watch you to make sure you don't do anything stupid. Going out there is stupid, so I'm saying no." She wasn't afraid of this kitten. Dottymask had given her far worse punishments, and would certainly give her plenty in the future. "I don't care if you forget it. I don't care what you think about me. I used to think that everyone had some good in them, but I know that is not true. Be a good little kitty and sit there quietly, or I will dig a hole in the ground and put you inside it. Understand?"
Rosettelatte had been in camp when the winds started, the strength of them catching her by surprise and sending her tumbling backwards until she flopped against the outside wall of the warriors den. She had been searching for Polarblast, wanting to ask him to go hunting with her but it seemed now that plan was not going to happen, she managed to get back to her paws and forced them to carry her into the middle of camp, but just as she got there the large tree branch fell, trapping her beneath it. She let out a pained cry but it was being drowned out by the raging storm. "H-help!"
Stormyblizzard flattened her ears against her head, she knew Wintrystar wanted to protect the clan but there were better ways to do it. She took in all of her words and when she finished, the Heir spoke again. "What if this is them speaking!" She challenged again when it seemed the Soveriegn planned to drop the subject, she knew the clan needed to be ushered to safety, but she was finding it difficult to let the subject go even in a time like this. "Wintrystar, if this is the gods doing and not Bluejays then what happens? How will that be explained or do you plan to still blame her and her children even if they are innocent?" She stepped forward, her normally cheery demeanor hardened. pao
Brokenpaw looked at Fluffykit for a moment, waiting for her to talk back, it was a bit shocking when the kit turned and went to the nest and she nodded in a pleasing manner. She was about to turn around and look back out at the camp but her little sibling began patting the empty space beside her in the nest, there was no way she was going to lay in there with the kit. "Oh no, you wanted to waltz out into a windstorm but you cant lay in a nest by yourself? I dont think so, you lay there by yourself and I'll stay right here and make sure you dont do anything stupid." Faith

Jaguarblood had just attempted to leave the warriors den when the winds picked up. She would have flown backwards if she hadn't unsheathed her claws and dug them into the ground under her feet. She heard a thud and looked to the outside wall of the warriors den to see Rosettelatte getting up and moving towards the middle of camp and when the branch fell on her it took everything in Jaguarblood to snap herself out of the shock. She pushed through the wind to get to Rosettelatte and dug her claws into the branch both to hold on from the wind and to help her pull it off of her clanmate. "What is this wind?!"

Despite the warning from Cloudywinter, Flickeringflames wasn't satisfied with the answer from their sovereign. She had opened her mouth once more but was quickly silenced by her brother, who quickly gave her ear a quick nip. "Enough." The large tom hissed to her. "You said your piece. Leave it alone." Talonstrike returned his sister's glare. Flickeringflames lowered her head and turned towards Cloudywinter, her hazel eyes wide and torn. "I don't get it..." She muttered to her wife. "She's just a student. And so frail, I saw her." Flickeringflames admitted. "What if this is the gods telling us we're wrong?" pao

"Rosemarykit." Heavenlykit's ribs still hurt from getting jabbed. Even as she approached her sibling and her servant, her paws shook a bit. She didn't wanna talk to her, somedays she barely acknowledged her. But, Heavenlykit could never sit still in a conflict. Wedging herself between Rosemarykit and Soullesspaw, she spoke again. "Let me take care of my own servants and you take care of yours." She didn't wanna fight, too late to try and call Sinfulpaw back. This was the second-best opportunity. Jadie

Maggotpaw kept himself in silence, just watching as the kits and apprentices talked. Like Wintrystar knew. She knew nothing of his mom. But fear kept him silent. Fear of losing his other eye. So he decided to entertain himself another way. Standing up, he approached Brokenpaw and Fluffykit. His charge. A little annoying, but she could have been worse. "Would you like me to sit with you?" In the prison, a burst of raucous laughter echoed through it. Old, with too much air in it. But it also held some mischief. Blackthornfate wasn't trusted, didn't expect to be. She'd been through worse than this. Leaning against one of the walls, there was actually a hole in it. Letting her hear all the chaos outside was a bad idea. "She talks such a big game about blood when I haven't even heard of her parents. This chick is a riot."
The winds howled like other worldly creatures sending chills into the prison den. Snow blurred in the backdrop of the entrance like a cold gate locking behind them. There was never more of a feeling of isolation than this moment between the two of them.
"I know you're not a demon, I was friends with your mom, even sympathetic of her upbringing. I know that you're angers well placed, that your treatments abusive, I just don't care at all. So be lucky saving you from a public beating was convenient. Besides, I have an idea that helps both of us. Wintrystar wants Bluejay's head, you want her freedom, let's give her both. Put Bluejay through a test, if she passes she joins, but if she fails she's gone. That's also not something you can compromise with me on, by the way," He said with annoyance before motioning with her to continue, they would both have to see Bluejay or in his case drag her out. Jadie
Fluffykit lied her chin down on her nest with a glum expression. Her ears twitched as her steely gaze turned to her Maggotpaw. "... Yeah," Fluffykit agreed, she stood up shifting over for her older brother before cuddling up into his fur. "I think your one eye is really cool, I hope I get some real battle wounds like you someday," She smirked before frowning, "But mom said she'll kill me if I get a scar so maybe not, but I can dream." strawberrycupid
Cloudywinter looked to her mate, amazed that she cared about this outsider so much, and spoke with calm words. "She's being treated the kindest out of them all, better than I've ever seen any prisoner. But she comes from SunClan, and acts as though it is perfectly acceptable to worship the Sun God and wants others to do the same thing. Believe me, I wish to see her out of there too, her blood is WinterClan's but she must let go of her old ways first." She pleaded with her mate and her brother to understand that the apprentice was just fine where she was and to not worry any more about her. "Would you wish to see her in the middle of camp, sprouting nonsense about a false god? She'd be outcaste by the clan in a mere moments. Hated on the spot just for her SunClan upbringing. Better for her to learn about our culture in prison, where she is safe from judgement and has time to adjust to our lifestyle. Surely, she'll be released once she's ready to join us permentantly, and on that day cats will accept her from her time spent learning and changing to match our ways." Nova
Meanwhile, Polarblast had spotted her married mate hurrying to the aide of Rosettelatte, his best friend. Gods above! She'd been pinned under the tree branch! Rushing to their side, the larger tom behind to hastily shove the branch off of Rosettelatte. He was panicking, anyone could see that and in his panic, he practically shoved his mate out of the way to try and rescue Rosettelatte. That didn't look good for his image. If anything he should be calmer about the situation, even if it is his best friend. It's not as though she was his lover...not yet at least. But maybe, maybe this was moment where he realized he was truly in love with her instead of Jaguarblood. MorteAutumnal
"Innocent? How can you be innocent with the blood of a demon? Explain that to me, Stromyblizzard!" Wintrystar rounded on her Heir, furious with the other she-cat and her words. The winds matched her in fury, gathering speed and strength, pulling down rocks from the edge of the camp where they sat at a slight elevation do to the raised ground there, and dropping another tree branch blocking off the nursery from all those outside it. "Maybe a stint in the prison will remind you of how to speak to your superiors. Or shall I strip you of your title since you so clearly do not support me? You've opposed me at every step and I can not have that from my most influential members of the clan." She stuck the she-cat across the face, hissed her words and turned to the clan. It was in chaos. Two branches were down. One on a cat, the other blocking the nursery. A few rocks had rolled in on the other side, hitting cats, blocking the warriors den, and damaging the students den. Camp was falling apart, the clan was panicking, and Wintrystar could do nothing to stop it. Addressing the clan once more, "if this is not Bluejay, then what else could it be! She has no way of proving herself outside of the Gods' words! And yet they have not spoken, thus sealing that it must be her doing. If they spoke now, raised their voices through the winds, I will hear them. I will take their words and honor them. But they have not, and clearly this is not their work. Why would our Gods destroy our camp? Leave us cold and hungry? Have they not proved us when StarClan forsake us? Did they not step forward and show their blessing when others failed us and punished us? No! This is the work of a vengeful demon, intend on throwing a temper tantrum and getting her way. But I will not allow it! She will see punishment for her ways and know she stop her madness! Be it the Gods will that I speak with!" Her eyes turned towards the Knight of the Guards, addressing Frostcloud alone in this next moment. "Bring me Bluejay, she shall be punished in front of the clan and commanded to cease her chaos." PhantomSpot
Frostcloud, who had been silent for the whole ordeal raised her head when her leader addressed her. The white knight hesitated when asked to bring Bluejay for punishment. This was not the clan it used to be. This was not the clan she was so loyal to for many moons. What had happened to it? What had happened to Wintrystar? Before she retrieved the prisoner, she just had to ask her leader, "W-what if it isn't Bluejay, Wintrystar? Would you regret this decision?"
"No." Sinfulpaw's voice was hushed, it would have been lost in the wind had she not turned to face Howlingnight. She had an absolute feral look in her odd-eyes as she leveled them with the dark-furred tom's, "I don't believe for a second that you were ever in anyone's corner but your own, you just told me as much. If you think putting me into the prison now is doing me a favor, then take me back, I'd rather be maimed than owe you any kind of debt."
She turned back down the tunnel and stuck her billowy straight in the air, "I'm not going to bargain with you. If you want to drag Bluejay out then go ahead, I'm not going to have anything to do with it." Faith
"Just because you're older doesn't make you smarter, idiot." Rosemarykit growled at Soullesspaw, raising her paw as if to strike the apprentice, although Heavenlykit wedged herself between the two of them before she got the chance. So she just smacked her sister instead, "Don't make yourself the biggest fool in WinterClan and serve your servant, Heavenlykit! What are you gonna do next, dig the hole for her?" strawberrycupidstardance
