Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The sun burned bright in the sky, it's heat beating down on the fluffy, white and black cat as she cautiously made her way through NightClan territory. Though she did her best not to show it, she was on edge, ears perked, consistently looking over her shoulder as if she were expecting anyone to sneak up on her out in the open in broad daylight. Forcing herself she pressed on, forcing herself to relax and began to hum softly as she walked, moving her paws in tune with the melody she created. In truth she had little idea of where the NightClan camp actually was, as she had never been. She thought it would be easy to find, but little did she know she was headed in the wrong direction. See the camp was northwest of the MoonClan border where she had come from. However she was headed north east, towards the bridge that unbeknownst to her, lead to the border they shared with SunClan.

If there was anything he was accustomed to, perhaps even trained to do, it would be to deceive.
He never enjoyed it. He valued honesty, as it required courage. It’s far more difficult to spin a tale and try to keep up with the fraying threads than to reveal the truth and handle the emotions of others. There were times, however, where telling a pretty lie was better than nothing. Besides, he could trick himself into believing it wasn’t entirely synthetic. They just didn’t need the details.
Just like the NightClan cat he discovered rounding a corner outside of SunClan’s boundary. He’d stepped too far, caught their scent, and paced back several tail lengths to give himself a chance. He could run, but this wasn’t a situation worth turning his back. He’d already spent enough time being chased away from conflict. If he wanted to find peace, he needed to start somewhere.
Stepping forward, he allowed his scent to be carried on the wind toward them, praying they didn’t skitter away when they realized he was a trespasser. They were alone, so he doubted they could be weak; no one who went on a border patrol without back-up could be considered unable to fend for themselves. Despite his not having known who they were, he admired that about them already. It took guts to do what they were doing.
This train of thought was halted when she came into view.
This wasn’t a NightClan member patrolling their territory. Scratch that, this wasn’t a NightClan cat. His eyes widened then narrowed as he found himself as a single rider on a roller coaster of emotion. He knew her, he recognized her straight away! What was she doing here? What had happened to bring her here? He lifted his chin and gazed at her with roiling fiery eyes.
She hadn't be looking in his direction when his scent wafted over him. She was surprised by it's warmth, it wasn't something she was use to where she had come from. At least that was where MoonClan and Nightclan were similar, the cats of both carried the cool scent of the night air, though NightClan also smelled of woodland where MoonClan did not.
Still, his scent alone wasn't enough to capture her attention, if anything it clued her in on the fact that she was too close to the SunClan border for her liking. It wasn't until he spoke that she turned her cool gaze on him. Brief recognition flashed in the depths of her water eyes as she regarded the tom. Instead of hostility she offered him a small smirk, tilting her head over so slightly in curiosity.
"Hi?" she echo'd back in mild amusement. "Does that actually work? "You just march into another clan's territory with a friendly "hi?" She let out an amused purr as she watched, awaiting his response.

The immature version of himself from several moons ago would’ve taken offense to her mocking tone and the dancing of her eyes, but having faced what he had, the tabby found his own smile working on to his face, one that was more genuine than the grin-grimace he’d forced on himself at point blank. “In my defense, this is the first time I’ve crossed into unfamiliar territory, so I can’t say I’m... totally surprised my magic didn’t work on you. Besides,” he leaned back on his haunches with a quiet groan, “I wouldn’t call it marching. If you’d like to be really creative, you could call it... exploring. After all, I’ve seemed to have found quite the gem.” His fiery gaze sparked as he observed her, taking in her opalescent appearance and the way her smile and the slight glint in her eyes seemed to warm her expression.
"Oh and I've suppose you've taken it to use as your eyes." The comment left her lips as soon the thought formed in her head, casually redirecting his compliment like lightning. The she-cat began to playfully circle the new interloper. There was no malice in her movement and now it was curiosity that brimmed in her eyes as she considered what he'd said. "Just how often do you go exploring?" For both their sakes she kept a wide berth between them as she circles in, every other lap she did she changed direction encompassing him in a figure eight rather than walking in an endless circle. "You've come a long way from home" it wasn't a question.

He smirked, turning his head away from her to silently chuckle at her flirtatious retort. He turned back to her. "Perhaps the sea captured in your own eyes can cool the fire in my heart." He offered her a cheeky grin. "Care to try?" He shook his fur out before shaking his head. The banter was great, but he had more than a pretty she-cat to focus on. He couldn't linger. He was being tracked and he either needed to move on or see what she had planned for him. "Not often." He answered, glancing quickly behind himself and checking his peripherals. "You could say I'm a wild soul trapped in a rigid shell. This is my first outing. How am I doing?"
He flinched, stretching to attempt to mask the instinct reaction at her accurate observation. "As they say, look ahead, not back. So, no-name, do you have a plan for me? Are you going to take me back to your leader or are you interested in stealing a few more moments with me alone? I wouldn't blame you. I'm quite enjoying myself as is, but I did have a destination in mind."
As he spoke, words flying from his tongue – without much forethought – he observed her. He had seen her at gatherings many a time before. How she hadn't recognized him was beyond him... Then again, she'd haunted his waking hours and dreams suns after he had noticed her at the last gathering. What had him more curious, however, was that she was trying to play at being a NightClan member. Certainly, she could have recently joined the Clan after the spiritual awakening SunClan – and consequently MoonClan – had undergone in light of the blood moon, but why would she come here? Was it merely because it was what she was used to? He stopped to ponder. Why hadn't he gone to what he was used to? To DayClan? Perhaps it was because he expected that those who would spend their time tracking him would assume that would be his first destination.
He refocused and grit his teeth. "Your camp, in fact."
she chuckled, purring at his response as she continued to dance around him. "Flattery won't get you very far, charming as you are, you're still a trespasser." If she was being to tire from her constant movement she didn't show it. Nor did her eyes leave him even for an instance. Something about his carefree demeanor threw her. Did all SunClan cats casually walk into NightClan like they where allowed to be here? Maybe he didn't know how territorial NightClan really was.
Suddenly she realized, he was playing her game. A sly grin spread over her features as she once again changed direction in her dance. "Are you in a hurry? have an important meeting with Flamingstar?" She knew he didn't of course, but a part of her wanted the draw out their meeting as long as possible but, if she weren't careful he would grow bored as would she.
"Well you're in luck It just so happens I'm headed back to my camp as well and would be happy to escort you." She came to a halt in front him now, but her tail still waved to and fro behind her.

Though there was a teasing, amused suggestion of a smile on his lips, that quickly changed when she informed him of her destination. Despite his best efforts, the reminder of what his true purpose was in this land was enough to send the charming, flirtatious boy she’d met deep in the recesses of his being. Standing straight, he tilted his head, expression as gentle as he could make it, though his fiery eyes, once warm and inviting like coming home, were now calculating and as fatal as a wild fire. “Lead the way.”
Stepping forward to be in line with her shoulders, he turned to her for guidance. “I haven’t a moment to lode and unfortunately I’ve already lost many of them.” He wasn’t blaming her, although he was certain there was a chance she would take it that way. He was never very graceful with his words; often times it got him into more trouble than he could count. He would’ve loved to stay and play as many games with her as she’d like, whatever games struck her fancy, but now was not the time to play at happy families and true love.
There was a ticking time bomb on his tail and if he didn’t act fast, his worst nightmare — and hers, if she had any sense — would be right at their borders.
“So.” He commented slyly as they began to walk, the silence becoming too much for him. “... When did you leave MoonClan?”
There was a more eloquent way to put that. A hundred different scenarios could’ve played out that would’ve been more smooth. Most of the time, he was grounded and able to think before he spoke. Not with her. He was starting to think he’d have to get used to putting his foot in his mouth around her.
