Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Bluejay lied on her side in the WinterClan prison, but her kits weren't nursing against her belly. She had no help during her birth, no prison guard wanted to assist a demon created from the Sun God. The entire process took hours, every time she managed to push a kit there was another on the way. Each time she felt more certain she would pass out and never wake again, the pain was overwhelming. Finally she had managed to give birth to all ten, but they were tiny, horribly weak. Bluejay stared at them, but didn't have anymore strength in her to reach for all ten.
It had been a few days of sitting in WinterClan's prison, before her mate Snakefang had been guarding her, but at least now he was due to guard soon. He would be so surprised...
Her vision soon became blurry, sleep tugging at her, but she still had to nurse her kits. She stared at them as though she could will them forward, but such a miracle didn't happen. That was fine though, Snakefang would come any moment now and then maybe they could finally be together.
The goal with these kits is to give them a good life in their adulthood despite their horrific childhood. This litter is believed to be demon spawns because their mother Bluejay is a creation of the Sun God who WinterClan hates. Because of this the litter is given cruel names and is treated poorly by WinterClan. The clan does not know that Snakefang is the father, but Wintrystar will figure it out. The kits grow up knowing Snakefang as their guardian caregiver, but do not know he is their father.

Monsterkit/ blood ♂ [Stark_Raving_Mad]: Growing up Monsterblood was shown his mother in prison, reminded constantly that he was a demon just like her. He always believed it, he could feel something darker running through his veins, and felt that he was someone that needed to be feared. Unlike most of his siblings who feared WinterClan more than they feared them. Monsterblood saw WinterClan as the cowards afraid of his family's power and bloodline. Monsterblood is a massive tom, which scared WinterClan, they would frequently give him inadequate sized meals to reduce his growth to no effect. He was fascinated by their fear, and lived for it. By the time he was an apprentice he was a fearsome force, one of the top apprentices in training. He became fascinated by his mother's demonic lore rather than afraid of it. He wouldn’t tolerate anyone his age or younger teasing him, quick to put them in their place with a nasty bite wound. Anyone older he would back down to, but there was always something menacing about Monsterblood that made even the adults hesitate to confront him. Snakefang originally saw him as a strong tom who stood his ground, but as Monsterblood’s bloodlust grew Snakefang began to disapprove of him more. Monsterblood has a distaste for Snakefang, finding him to be weak like the other warriors of WinterClan. By warrior age Monsterblood is a towering beast with fur as black as the night sky, fangs, bigger than claws, and his pupils were thin like reptilian slits. Now his bloodlust is more refined with a vicious will to kill WinterClan cats. It didn’t take him long to act on that desire as he began to secretly kill WinterClan cats, no matter the age until eventually caught and imprisoned. He has pitch black fur with glittery white teeth, the bottom side of his paws are icy white and his eyes don’t look right. He has radioactive yellow reptilian eyes and long fangs like his father. Bluejay: ♥♥♥♥♥ Snakefang: ♥♥
It was time for his guard shift. Before today, he had been a nervous wreck worried about how Bluejay was fairing with the prison conditions, but he tried to keep himself busy. He could imagine they weren't that great but he knew she was a tough girl. Making himself presentable before he showed himself to her, he smoothed his pelt down. It had only been a few days but he was anxious to see her since they last saw one another. He shouldn't have worried so much; how much could have changed in such a short span of time?
As Snakefang approached the holding cells, the sound of meaning grew louder. They're holding kits as prisoners now? But as he walked past the vacant cells, he slowly began to realize what it was making that sound. Standing outside of Bluejays cell, he saw the kits. His kits. He was too shocked to say or do anything. He looked them over, making sure to take note of each of their features. They were so small and young, just recently born by the looks of it. His lack experience showed however. His eyes fell on Bluejay who was laid on her side, clearly exhausted. "Hey, Bluejay, I'm here," he said softly, but loud enough to be heard over the cries of the ten kittens crawling about.
Bluejay could only be described as faded, everything lacked her usual exuberant demeanor, but there was a certain softness about her that wasn't there before. Her smile was dull and small at the sound of her mates voice, but when he arrived her multi colored gaze brightened faintly. "I knew you'd come," She whispered. After recollecting a few breaths she managed to clear her worn out mind, "Bring the kits over to me, they need warmth," She paused, her voice raspy from the lack of water and cold air, "I wanted to tell you I was pregnant, but I couldn't when the guards were around."
She couldn't wait to brag to everyone she that she had ten kits, no assistance, first time in a prison. Nothing could defeat her, except maybe her own kits. She was exhausted, but their mewling was the only thing keeping her awake.
"It's alright now." he reassured her. Although no one else was scheduled to be on guard duty today, but still looked back from where he came to make sure that he wasn't being watched or followed. He was clear, at least for now. Opening the door and stepping into the room, he went to work moving the kits closer to their mother. He had never moved something so fragile but before, but his instincts told him what he needed to do. Between picking them up and ushering them toward Bluejay with a paw, he managed to get them close to her belly. "Okay, they're all here. I'll be back with something for you to drink," he said as he hurried off to find some water.
Bluejay closed her eyes, she could tell that only half of the kits could feed, there were too many of them, but that was fine, they could each wait their turn. At least she felt like that was right, she was an only child for most of her young life. Her multi colored gaze looked over each of the kits as she tried to think of names for each of them. The last one to be born would definitely be Tundrakit, it just felt fitting for the white tom. "I hope you have a lot of name ideas," She smirked, but watched her mate eagerly for the water.
"Oh maybe Darkkit for this black furred kit, it was my fathers name," She said thinking out loud. Sure the Sun God created her, but he made her in the image of Darkcomplex and Glowstar.
Snakefang found a bowl-shaped leaf holding water and brought it over to Bluejay. "Here, I found something," he said as he tilted the bowl so she could drink from it. "Darkkit, huh," he considered as he looked over the kits. "I'm not good with naming things, if I'm being honest with you," he said with a chuckle. "Well, I've never actually tried, but there's a first for everything, right?"
Bluejay laughed softly, "Go ahead and try and think of a name, you might surprise yourself. But come lie down by me, certainly your clan believes in keeping kits safe from the cold."
ConsuelaSpot alright so Wintrystar is walking up with her three knights to basically interrogate the newest prisoner, Bluejay. Bluejay wants to join WIC but Wintrystar is not having it considering she's the monster of DayClan. She's been here a while and under strong supervision. She's just had kits though, something no one was aware of considering we didn't know she was pregnant. Snakefang is the dad but pretty sure he's not gonna own up to that at the moment, idk could be wrong that's Pluto's call. But Wintrystar is gonna wanna kill these kits and she's gonna be stopped by Snowbunny as the Knight of the Stars as he doesn't believe the gods would be pleased about her killing any kits, even the demons. So react how you think your cat will to this matter!
Wintrystar had gathered her Knights to discuss their latest prisoner. Stormyblizzard, Earlybloom, and Chestnutspeak had yet to be addressed but they were aware of the situation. It was her job as the leader of the clan to figure out what to do with this cat and she was choosing to involve her Knights, especially since they'd been a few of Bluejay's main guards since her capture. She's had them--her knights--and one other guard on rotation and stationed just for Bluejay. The Sovereign couldn't allow someone so dangerous to not have the highest level of guards. Thus why she'd been assigning her Knights to help watch this prisoner personally.
"What does a WinterClan interrogation entail?" Snowbunny asked Wintrystar as he padded along side her. His green gaze looked up and down as they walked through the familiar prison. He had spent moons locked up in WinterClan, forced to be there by the same cats he was walking with.
He had never heard of a demon before, he hadn't even known to fear Bluejay when he met her on the border patrol. She sounded normal, but he could tell by her eyes that she definitely wasn't. One eye had been golden like the sun and the other eye had two pupils! That and the fact that she was created by the Sun God only made his pelt bristle. The Sun God was a part of the same clan that led their attack against Renegade Regime. If she was truly created by him then he didn't doubt the stories the other WinterClan cats had told about her. "I think it's good that she came to WinterClan, maybe it's destiny that we were meant to stop her," Snowbunny suggested. Although he hadn't felt any sign yet of that being true.
(Yeah, Snake isn't going to fess up to being the kit's father, unless it becomes safe for him to do so.)
The tom shrugged. "I'll try and come up with some names, but you might not like them. But...," He glanced back toward the entrance again. He had a itching suspicion that others would show up at any point. He shook his head. "I cant stay for too long, but I will be right outside, if you need me." Before leaving, he gave her a reassuring smile and a lick on the cheek.
Bluejay smirked, her fluffy black, white tipped tail smacking him playfully upside his back legs, "Go get 'em hot shot," She winked.
Even if she didn't have a nest to lie in or anyone she knew to support her she preferred this than being in DayClan. Reasonably no one liked the chick who tried to destroy the clans twice and maybe she imagined a lot of the dirty looks, but no matter what she did it couldn't feel like home. The prison was cold and she pitied the way her kits had to come into this world, but Snakefang was her forever home. So long as he was in her life this place would always feel cozy and safe.
Given Snakefang's answer it didn't seem like half a bad idea to start considering names. The first kit looked just like her so probably Bluekit. Or maybe she would resent her for having a name so close to hers... Bluebell, that was pretty. The next kit was very majestic looking so Ethereal. The gorgeous silvery she-kit would be Lunar, no doubt about that. The next one was unique, whatever angle you looked at her she looked entirely different so Iridescent. The largest of the litter was a tom, he would no doubt be Dark. The one with the zig zag patterns would be Lightning. The other tom had a snow leopard appearance, snow leopards were one of the few large cats who couldn't roar so he would be Silent. The next kit was brighter than the rest so maybe Maple. The next kit had spiky black fur, Porcupine. She had never heard of any kit named Porcupine, but he seemed like the most fitting. And of course her last and technically youngest kit would be Tundra.
Lionwhisper followed closely at the Sovereign's side as the small group neared the prison. "Questioning first and foremost." Lionwhisper answered calmly, despite the nerves that rushed through his body. "We need answers even if it's biased and fabricated. All while doing that we asses body language. Often, it can reveal more truth that words can, especially under stressful circumstances." The horrifically large ginger Knight explained to Snowbunny. "We need to get down as to the motives behind coming here. Winterclan has unique terrain that if often challenging to those who aren't used to it. It says a lot for us to find anyone outside of the clan so near to our camp." The observation was made with Lionwhisper staring back to their leader, concern evident in his gaze.
"Pft. Lionwhisper, your too soft." Frostcloud mumbled rolling her eyes. "Pain and suffering usually gets the truth out of cats. You can intimidate a cat all you want but they will question and underestimate your true power until you show them." She looked from Snowbunny to Lionwhisper and back again. "Besides, Bluejay is dangerous. She has powers that none of us have. She's made cats suffer. I suggest we return the favor."
"Oh," Snowbunny said, intrigued by Lionwhisper, "Yeah, that sounds good, we should assess her body language."
He then turned to Frostcloud, nodding along, "That's true, Alvah Faris did respect you once you made it clear not to mess with you."
By the time they walked down into the prison he was so much in thought he almost missed the scent of milk in the air. His first reaction was that a queen must have been lured into the prison, but as his gaze sharpened he saw Bluejay lying on her side with more kits than he'd ever seen a queen give birth to all lined up against her.
"Oh... That might answer why she came here," Snowbunny said, but as soon as he said it his mind slowed down, thinking back to the patrol he was on when they first saw Bluejay. Snakefang had been acting weird for weeks, his gaze was almost fidgeting to every movement and shadow he saw. Then when Bluejay was found he couldn't take his eyes off of her. He let out a purr and anxiously rubbed his front paw against the other, he always purred when he was nervous. What if these kits were Snakefang's? He tasted the air and could tell Snakefang had been there, not that it was suspicious, he was assigned to guard her, but... He looked down and saw the water lying in front of Bluejay. His friend could have just been being nice...
Wintrystar glared, here eyes sharped at the scent of milk and motherhood. Then they patched into Bluejay and she saw red. How dare this cat reproduce! Spreading her terrible disease!!! Especially in her clan. It was bad enough that cat was even alive after all the chaos she’d caused in other clans and yet she bless now here. Rushing forward with a growl on her lips and a deadlines about her movements, Wintrystar snatched the nearest kits she could and tossed it aside. Her words were spitting a steh kit landed near Lionwhisper’s paws. “Kill it. The rest are next!” Her eyes didn’t leave Bluejay’s challenging the cat to give her a reason to kill her as well. She didn’t need much, especially not after all the things she’d done in the past to the clans. She raised a paw, a killing blow in mind as she turned to the next kit.
Stormyblizzard had not been with Wintrystar or the knights as they went to the prison to evaluate Bluejay, but it was clear to her that things had taken a bad turn when shouting echoed from the cavern into the camp, the outraged voice of their leader stinging her ears. The heir shot to her paws and within moments had pushed her way into the prison just in time to see Wintrystar fling a kit to Lionwhispers paws, her own lifted once more as she aimed for another. Stormyblizzard clenched her jaw, it wasnt difficult to put the pieces together, the kits belonged to Bluejay which meant they were most likely similar to the she-cat who had been created by the Sun God; despite that fact though, the black and white she-cat felt a knot form in her stomach at their current treatment. She flicked her tail in front of Lionwhisper to block him momentarily from the kit in front of him and locked her eyes on the Soveriegn. "Wintrystar!" Her voice held an uncommon tone of authority and she stepped forward to put herself in the line of fire.
