11.06.2022 The site has been transformed into an archive. Thank you for all the memories here!
Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Due to some circumstances, luciferin had to step down as Fallclan deputy, which means we are once again searching for someone to fill that role! Please go and tell her how much you love her and how beautiful of a person she is, because she seriously deserves it.
Tryouts will go until enough people have responded. Remember that you can't tryout if you already hold a leadership or deputy position. You do not need to have a Skype to apply, and it will not affect your chances at all.

Splitwolf ; As a young kit he was always fascinated by the things around him? What made a star? What made the streams move? Where did the rainclouds come from? Curious. He was always curious. His brothers had all thought he always had his head in the clouds but what they didn't know was that he was learning everything he could. Even with being the leaner of his brothers he was fast and wily and was able to memorize their usual movements while sparring to learn how to counter attack effectively. Making him a very skilled opponent. Splitwolf prefers words over fighting, as an intellectual he thinks fighting can be a waste. But even still, he knows that sometimes it is the only way. He can be perceived as naive. In a way he is, always prefering to see the good in others before the bad. But don't get on his bad side. Once Splitwolf has determined you to be an enemy he is fierce and deadly in his strikes. He learned the hard way that not everyone is who they seem. He has the long scar on his flank to prove it, cutting through the long dark gray hair of his pelt. His eyes are a dark chocolate brown that are typically happy and kind, but as of recently they have lost their shimmer and have gone cold and dark like a winter storm cloud, roiling with thunder snow and suppressed rage. The trigger? A secret he is wise enough to keep to himself. This recent change has made him more withdrawn from others, not cruel but more...indifferent. That isn't to say he is rude, he is quite kind but keeps everything polite and cordial. Never letting his emotions out. Never giving himself away. Not again. Maybe not ever again...
How will your character work with Hystericstar? ;; I would imagine Splitwolf would be quietly unnerved by Hystericstar but he's quite good at keeping a poker face steady. To say Hystericstar would annoy him would be an understatement and he would probably think that being chosen as Deputy is some sort of joke that Hystericstar is playing, some sort of social experiment to get Splitwolf to finally crack and break. But I could also see Hystericstar being annoyed that Splitwolf won't play his games lol. This creating a very stoic deputy plagued by endless annoyance...the annoyance being his own leader. lol
With Amberbird?; I can honestly see Splitwolf treating Amberbird like a little brother. Someone for the wayward medicine cat to vent to or hide behind, whatever the case. I could see Splitwolf listening to Amberbird fretting and shaking his head with a slight twitch of a smile as he listens to his worries. Just like an older brother should. Piecing together forgotten trains of thought, helping him to remember an herb name and what it's used for, finishing his sentence when he begins to stutter so he doesn't continue to stutter and embarss himself.
With Chestnutpaw?; As soon as I read her bio I could see Splitwolf developing a small crush on the headstrong med cat apprentice. I could see her putting him in his place for a particularly snarky comment or a word bitten out too harshly. But I could also see them being fast friends as Splitwolf has this gravitational pull that brings others in to lean on him for someone to talk to...to just listen to them and understand. So I could definitely see him being very fond of Chestnutpaw and willing to help her in any way he could if she asked.
Link to photo;; I have no link it's in my phone. It also needs edited a little. But I am in the Skype chat and can send the pic 😁

CAT NAME & BIO ;
SHIELDHEART Handsome and not afraid to flaunt it, Shieldheart has many admirers. Though he entertains a fling or two, he doesn’t desire kits or anything long-term. Growing up was rough for him, and he doesn’t want to screw up anyone the way he was. Besides, getting close to others means having to eventually lose them. And in his experience, whenever a cat gets close to him, it ends in loss. Shieldheart has reckless tendencies built upon his immense need to protect the lives of others. He’ll run headfirst into a battle he can’t win just for the sake of trying. However, he condemns the recklessness of anyone else. Luckily, Shieldheart wins most of his battles with his brute strength and the help of his younger brother, Swordstrike. The two are practically joined at the hip due to Shieldheart’s overprotective clinginess, which stemmed from having to raise him when their father was off being a neglectful parent. With a lot of inner turmoil, Shieldheart wears a grin and cracks jokes to distract himself. With his constant sarcasm, cocky, and childish attitude, he can come off a bit inappropriate. But it’s better than the alternative, otherwise known as the sapmaster. Or the other other alternative, where he scowls at everyone for no reason and picks fights. Another coping method of his is food. He’ll eat just about anything, but twoleg scraps has got to be his favorite. Anyone to go dumpster diving for him will win a lick on the cheek for sure. Shieldheart has brown tabby markings with a white chest, snout, and paws. His fur darkens considerably only at his tail, which is fluffier than the rest of his short pelt. Where Swordstrike resembles their father, Shieldheart is near identical to their mother--especially with his soft, pale green eyes. Sometimes the resemblance is so strong he passes as a she-cat, which is made more confusing once he starts talking in his naturally gruff voice.
HOW WILL YOUR CHARACTER WORK WITH HYSTERICSTAR? ; Shieldheart will follow orders unless they go against his moral code and he will openly argue if it comes down to it. I don't know how twisted Hysteric is cause I'm new, but I could see Shield being incredibly loyal or constantly frustrated with the leader. Somewhere in between is what I'm guessing though. Shieldheart does good things for others because he cares more for them than himself, and so he might be trying to prove to the leader that he doesn't have any ulterior motives in that respect. Their personalities would balance each other out at the end of the day I think.
WITH AMBERBIRD? ; Shieldheart will feel bad for Amberbird just as he would any other cat. He would also respect his role as a medicine cat and all he does for the clan that Shieldheart will never be able to do. However, he'll be constantly frustrated with the submissiveness and the apologies. He has a quick temper so he'll probably snap at Amberbird and won't realize till much later what he did. Then he'll feel miserable and be coming back to apologize himself. Eventually, he might try to get the medicine cat to loosen up once he's been nagged enough by his brother, Swordstrike.
WITH CHESTNUTPAW? ; Shieldheart will have a soft spot for Chesnutpaw, because she's a younger cat for one. Even though he doesn't want kits, he really likes kits and apprentices and feels a huge responsibility to keep them safe and happy. He had to take on the parental figure for his brother when they were young and she had more than one sibling to raise, so he'll share a bond with her there. Though, I don't know if or when he'd ever share that tidbit with her. While Shieldheart respects the code and faith, he doesn't agree with everything. If he learns that Chestnutpaw wants to fall in love, then he'll probably rage about the stupidity of love being forbidden and try to get her to break the code just as much as he tries to keep her from doing it lol.

USERNAME – fire lord dragon
CAT NAME & BIO – Dragondance
"Leaves from the vine, falling so slow, like fragile tiny shells drifting in the foam." A true prince is deserved his title not for the words said through puppeteers but the heart and soul of one's actions and the ripples that effect change. Often those who are right for the role are uninterested in the responsibility it bestows, while those who believe it's their right remove and exploit the responsibility's intended purpose. This is the basis of Dragon's tale. A faded dark brown tabby tom who's coat is reminiscent of ash in the burned skeletal remains of a forest, shrouding the vibrant life budding underneath. Eyes as molten gold as a winged creature's fiery gaze, at times cold and unyielding, at others warm and fluidly drifting with the sentimentality one learns with loss. In all areas but one, he embodies his namesake: temperamental, fiery, and capable of the undoubted ability to encourage life or destruction with a few choice actions, qualities of fire; wise, emotionally intelligent, and spiritually enlightened, qualities of the masters deep within the heart of the earth; sharp-witted, open-minded, and devoted to obtaining the final result, qualities of an expert riddler with a passion for a game a old as time itself. He, like the legends or myths of the world, lives outside of perceived constraint so that he may live a life far more entertaining than the pre-ordained one he relinquished. How long he'll be able to outrun it, however, is a question only fate has the answer to. "Little soldier boy, come marching home. Brave soldier boy comes marching home."
HOW WILL YOUR CHARACTER WORK WITH HYSTERICSTAR? – Dragondance would see a lot of similarities between Hystericplague and his own father, causing some conflict from the get-go with Dragondance instinctively wanting to rebel against him. Hystericplague represents the primary qualities of Dragondance's father that ultimately sent the tabby down the path to losing his sister, which could result in some major projection issues. On the other hand, however, Dragondance has always had an optimistic set about himself and would see Hystericplague as someone to break through and lend a support to. This, in turn, could create more conflict with the two sides of himself – projecting son and compassionate friend – which could lead to some more bizarre interactions. Whip lash, anyone? However, a third side of himself could easily win out over the other two, which is merely indifference. Dragondance is amongst those individuals who doesn't give anyone the time of day who could be considered toxic or a poor influence to his overall well-being and mood. Dragondance, at the end of the day, likes to enjoy himself and if Hystericplague threatens what little peace he has, he may consider Hystericplague as not worth his time.
WITH AMBERBIRD? – Dragondance would have no time or patience for Amberbird, admittedly. Dragondance has always prized strength of character over physical strength. While Amberbird's physical prowess wouldn't be a bother to the tabby, his emotional weakness and inability to be confident in his own power and person would warrant his disinterest and even dislike of the medicine cat. The best interaction Dragondance may have with Amberbird would be sharp retorts veiling the concern over Amberbird's inability to stand up for himself and allow himself to experience any other emotion apart from powerlessness that he feels. While Dragondance would never physically reprimand or encourage Amberbird in any direction, he would also acknowledge to himself that occasionally a cuff over the medicine cat's ear would be enticing, if only to knock the emotionally weaker tom into his senses. If pressed, and if actually desired by Amberbird, he would accept taking the medicine cat under his wing to instill some self-confidence and comfort in his own power and capability. This would only occur if he was approached by the medicine cat, though; otherwise, he'd be indifferent.
WITH CHESTNUTPAW? – Dragondance could go one of two ways with Chestnutpaw, though you'll see overlap of both no matter their interactions. Without her backstory, Dragondance could see Chestnutpaw as a side of his sister he had often seen when he was young, before she was taken and distorted by the tom she fell in love with. He could take her under his wing, wishing to protect her from the fate his sister met with. However, after her backstory, his feelings may change. His sister was a strong, confident apprentice who, despite never meeting the day she'd be promoted to warrior, was confident in her ability and didn't allow her weaknesses to keep her from what she desired. She had to work harder to fulfill her own dreams and desires. Dragondance could take this as a possibility to influence Chestnutpaw to change her mindset so that she could empower herself and live a more fulfilled, happier life. Or, he could turn his back and like the others, remain indifferent.
