Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
DayClan, SunClan, Primal Instinct, and Renegade Regime were all in the lioness + 1 lion pride. Previously SunClan and DayClan had broken their alliance, but thanks to Primal Instinct investigating into the matter they discovered that it was a member of the league, Kotori who had tried to setup the alliance to fail. Since then Kotori had gotten away, but the alliances were going strong including a new group joining the Pride, Renegade Regime. Every few moons the Pride would arrange for a special event known as the Eve of Peace. The Eve of Peace was where apprentices of all Pride alliances would come together in the Eve of Peace gathering to mingle with their alliance members. The Eve of Peace were for alliance apprentices to bond, form ties, and learn about the importance of the Pride so that when they became warriors they would value and be familiar with their allies. Today Primal Instinct was hosting the Eve of Peace for the first time. Today Primal Instinct was hosting the Eve of Peace in an abandoned McDonalds complete with a ball pit and large play set.
(Any apprentices from DayClan, SunClan, Primal Instinct or Renegade Regime are welcome to join in!)
DAYCLAN
Lilacpaw felt like she was in a nightmare coming to Primal Instinct, it wasn't that long ago that there was an intruder in DayClan that came from the league. She spoke about how they used to kill their first borns of every litter, had weekly executions and brawls. It felt... Safe to know that Primal Instinct was at least on their side and not against them like they used to be at least. Lilacpaw was an orange tabby with white markings and green eyes, a pretty standard look for DayClan cats. She had always been wary of their allies, but having Renegade Regime really felt like things balanced out now. Either way it wasn't like she was going to show she was scared or intimidated so she walked out looking for an apprentice to speak to... Or trainee... Or cadet. Same thing, same difference, whatever.
Glowstar sat between Littlestar and Funk E'tan with Commander Shule hopefully choosing to sit next to Littlestar. This was going to possibly be a rough time as Shule had torn out Funk's throat and when Innocentia attacked Littlestar's daughter Littlestar had mauled and burned Funk E'tans proxy. "So this is nice," Glowstar began before continuing with a purr to Littlestar, "I'm so glad we can meet again like this. I know our alliance is always sliding around, but I really do hope events like these can help our clans find solace in this alliance. Also nice to have you aboard now Commander Shule." She felt the strong instinct to lean into Funk E'tan like she were an emotional support animal. As happy as she wanted to be about having her sister in law aboard she had torn out her boyfriends throat just because he had half drowned her brother. Like c'mon, these things happen, that was an over reaction.
SUNCLAN
Arcticpaw looked back at Littlestar, but didn't move from her as though she were guarding her mom. It was reasonable to say the least since the proxy Innocentia had attempted to eat her and then tried to eat her a second time before maybe giving up. Her claws wiped through her tail as she pulled at knots and in turn chunks of her fur, grooming it out or possibly doing more damage than good as she anxiously sat at her mothers paws not even sparing a glance at the eve of peace gathering.
"I'm surprised your mom made you come, Arcticpaw," Discordantpaw materialized at the fluffy apprentice's side, her indigo eyes mischievous. She was a bit of a bully and Arcticpaw made herself an easy target. Still, the calico she-cat was all too aware of Littlestar's watchful eyes and close proximity, so she was going to be on good behavior for the time being. She kept her voice low as she added, "I thought for sure you would stay behind and... do whatever it is you do."
Discordantpaw herself visited the League frequently, so this visit was par for the course. It was odd that she spent her initial time here with a cat she could see every day but then again nothing this she-cat did was predictable.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Creek-chan
Alright, Creek-chan was clearly a kit. Just a couple moons old, still all fluff and buggy eyes. There was no keeping him away from this gathering, though, his mother hadn't even tried. The little gray bengal padded up to the first apprentice he saw and boldly asked, "What is your name and which group are you from?"
RENEGADE REGIME Cadet Havilah
Cadet Havilah sat at the fringes of the gathering, his deep green eyes shooting daggers at anyone who dared approach. He was very nearly Warrior aged and didn't know how to have fun anyway. He sighed and drew his white-furred paw over his ear, grooming himself to pass the time.
Buttercuppaw felt extremely uncomfortable as she stuck close to her sister, Lilacpaw. Her turquoise gaze rested on Articpaw and for a moment, she was excited to see her. Before she could approach, Discordantpaw beat her to it. Though, perhaps it would be good for them if they mingled with some of the other apprentices. "Why dont we go talk to Discordantpaw and Articpaw over there? Maybe that will ease our minds about being here."
"Tonight is Wednesday so I would be washing my paint off and preparing to sleep," Arcticpaw said, probably the only apprentice that gave herself a bedtime. Most apprentices were happy to be able to stay up late without a parent telling them to go to bed and only some light scolding from a mentor for being out of it the following morning. However for Arcticpaw she claimed she received headaches from staying up too late. Unfortunately for her it looked like tonight would be one of those nights. "It's okay, this is important so I should be here. I don't like to attend initiate ceremonies because they make me sad, but they're important so I go." Arcticpaw's voice was small and meek as usual, but it was softer than clouds, there was such an innocence to it.
"I'm Gingersnap and I'm from SunClan," Gingersnap said and yes she was a janus and no she wasn't even an apprentice age, she was about one moon short from being an apprentice, but it felt unfair for her to miss out on this. She leaned in and sniffed Creek-chan along the neck, "And you're Primal Instinct," She said pulling back, "How does it feel to know you're job is to kill cats? I'm still trying to get over that and sometimes I think of running away, but then I love SunClan too much to ever do that to them. Plus the Sun God chose me for this so I trust that he must know I'm good for this role, but maybe you have a better technique for handling killing?"
Lilacpaw wanted to immediately respond that she wasn't afraid, but she wasn't going to be a liar either. "Yeah sounds good," She agreed walking over to them before noticing Gingersnap and Creek-chan and the train wreck of a conversation that was happening over there, "Or maybe you want to save that conversation while I comfort Arcticpaw? DayClan cats work of saving SunClan cats from coming off as "too much" is never done after all."
"Yeah, good idea. I'll be right back." Buttercup bounded over to Gingersnap and Creek-chan. "Hi! I'm Buttercuppaw. I'm a Dayclan apprentice!" She greeted, friendly. She hoped that her sudden appearance would take the attention off of their awkward conversation. The last thing they wanted was for Sunclan and Primal Instinct to break out into a fight over offensive words.

"Thrilled." Even all the anger in the world couldn't stop Funk from zoning out now. Not that he would ever show it. The only reason he tolerated being here, or even bringing these apprentices to the abandoned McDonalds, was cause Glow asked him. And he couldn't deny those big eyes of her's. Shule at least knew of Funk's disdain for her, not entirely sure what Littlestar thought of him nowadays.
SUNCLAN Discordantpaw Faith "How interesting. That's right, girl's got to get her beauty sleep...," What a boring answer, but Discoardantpaw sort of expected it, part of the fun of messing with Arcticpaw was that she never seemed to realize that she was butt of the joke, "How about we go over there and talk with those other cats?" she motioned toward Creek-chan, Gingersnap and Buttercuppaw, "Your mother would be really proud of you. Every one of them is from a different group, all that's missing is the Regime" Discordantpaw didn't really know what she was up to yet, but she knew for a fact that she wasn't going to get very far with Littlestar breathing down her neck. So, her first task was to get Arcticpaw away from her mother.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Creek-chanFaithSpot "I'm Creek-chan, son of Funk E-tan and Blue, who are or were both Shamans, and I must say that the easiest way to kill a cat is using poison. If you do it right they will go asleep without a care in the world and never open their eyes again. It's not as fun as slicing a throat but it'll get the job done if you want to avoid the mess. That being said, most cats in the League don't bother with poison when the other option takes way less premeditation, you know? But if you ask me..." He leaned in close, nearly nose to nose with Gingersnap. His eyes were not half as expressive as his voice which was unnerving to say the least, "... the best way to kill would be a combination of the two. Rip them apart from the inside and then the outside. But that's just a theory, I haven't had a chance to put it into action yet, Mom keeps all those dangerous herbs out of my reach but I'm growing real fast."
At Buttercuppaw's approach, Creek-chan pulled away from the young Janus and flashed the DayClan apprentice a smile, "Hi! I'm Creek-chan! What do you think is the best way to kill someone?"
"Uhhh...I dont think killing anyone is...fun or entertaining..." Buttercup mewed, uncomfortably. "Why even kill someone? Why is their life any less valuable than yours?"
"Sounds like you are the kind of cat who likes poison. I'll remember that." Creek-chan replied, totally unfazed by the lesson that Buttercuppaw was trying to teach him. Much like how he had approached Gingersnap earlier, the young gray bengal now stepped closer to the DayClan apprentice, a creepy grin on his face that seemed to spread ear to ear. He loved when he was asked questions like this, "Some die too early, some die too late. Is there ever really a right time to die? When do you want to die, in your prime, with that innocent spark still igniting your heart, of hope and ambition for a future full of possibilities? Or do you want to wait until age ravages you and leaves you with a limp and bald patches, slowly stealing sense after sense until all that is left is maybe a wisened mind, which can be robbed from you, too? Believe me when I say that there is beauty in both. Murder, Accident, Time. So many ways to die and yet it is the one thing we all have in common! I really do agree with you, Buttercuppaw, there's no way my life is any more valuable than anyone else's. But ponder this: What about that mouse you ate for breakfast? Or the bird you killed yesterday? What about their souls? We all enter this world the same way and want the same things. Yet, death awaits us all, and never at the right time! How unfair!" He paused to laugh and to catch his breath, this kit was positively giddy, but he wasn't quite done yet, "Killing is just part of reality. We kill to live. It's what defines us as cats. Obligate carnivores. Sure, the League kills more than, say, DayClan, but I'd be willing to wager that we live just a little more than you do. It's a continuum, just like how good cannot exist without evil, or love cannot exist without hate."

Dayclan Pomepaw shifted between his paws uncomfortably as the others milled about and started conversations. Spotting Lilacpaw and Buttercuppaw, he wondered silently if it would be a good idea to join them. Somehow he always ended up trailing along with them even though it was never a comfortable time, but always an adventure. At that moment, it appeared like they were parting ways to go talk with other cats. "Uh... okay...You can do this..." He meowed to himself.
Buttercuppaw was impressed by Creek-chan's thoughts on death but she still felt it was wrong to rob someone of their life. "Yes, those are true, but what gives you the right to decide who lives and who dies? Who gave you power to rip souls from their bodies and rob innocent cats of their lives on your decision? Of course we all die but that is our grand design. That was when we were meant to die because the grand design decides when you die. If you kill someone, that may break the grand design. Maybe that wasn't how they were suppose to die? Perhaps they were suppose to have kits? Maybe one of those kits grows to be a hero or someone important? If you rob a cat of their life sooner than they were meant to die, that would unbalance the universe and in order for the universe to balance itself out, there would be consequences. That's how it fixes itself." Buttercuppaw pointed out. "And that mouse or bird that I killed was used for it's nutrition. Its life was taken to fill bellies and none of it was wasted. When you kill a cat, do you eat it? Do you use it's pelt? I've heard some of you eat cats but not all of you. Some of you waste the body and your just killin' for the thrill which is wrong."
"Hey Arcticpaw," Lilacpaw said as she approached her, but noticed Discordantpaw was already inviting her out and nodded, "Hey, yeah we can go explore the play grounds over there, c'mon," Lilacpaw said as she wandered over to the play ground beckoning the apprentice with her tail. Arcticpaw had at first been hesitant to leave her moms side for Discordantpaw, but seeing Lilacpaw was already moving away to have fun she got to her paws and followed after her. Lilacpaw smiled as Arcticpaw joined beside her, "Hey Arcticpaw, how about you go up and explore the first floor for us," Lilacpaw suggested and when the peach colored feline vanished she immediately turned on Discordantpaw, "Alright what's your game? I'm up for messing with you, but if you're her supportive clanmate than I'll leave you two alone I guess," She said with a shrug.
Gingersnap nodded along in agreement with Creek-chan, definitely the silent ones who used poison. She also turned to listen to Buttercuppaw and nodded along with her, "I could not agree more Buttercuppaw, there is a grand design for everything. You're just a little too deep into it Creek-chan, but fact is that you should never mess with the grand design. When the Sun God tells you to kill someone, it's their time to go, you have to serve as a reaper and if your job is to stay out if it while that cat is being killed than so be it. Even if that cat is the priest promise, you just gotta kill him if that's what the Sun God wants. Nothing is more important than a grand design." Gingersnap gave Buttercuppaw an appreciative smile, "I have never met a DayClan cat so wise as to agree about the grand design of it all. Thank-you for sharing that Buttercuppaw, it looks like the other apprentices were right about you, you're different than the rest."
Buttercuppaw perked her ears at Gingersnap's words. It looks like the other apprentices were right about you, you're different from the rest. What did that mean? "The other apprentices were talking about me? About how I'm different?" This was the first time she had heard this.

Littlestar looked between the two leaders, the tension clear in the air. The only leader that she had a strong connection with was Glowstar. Funk always seemed so distant and Shule.. Well she was still trying to figure out exactly where they stood. She nudged Articpaw "Go on, Im sure some of your DayClan friends are here" before turning back to the other leaders "This is an.. interesting location... she commented looking to Funk. SunClan didn't have anything similar to this in SunClan, and she was glad. It smelled rather funny, and not to mention it was ridiculously colorful. She couldn't help but wonder if twolegs were color blind after seeing such an abomination.
PRIMAL INSTINCT Creek-chanFaithSpot "It's a beautiful thought but there's a problem with your grand design. You see, there's no way to define it. You can't even begin to determine it until after it's passed by and there's nothing you can do to change it. What if me slitting your throat right now was part of the design? We'll never know unless I act on it, which I won't, because I like you and it would be a shame. But anyways. What if killing a cat saves the lives of many others? Could it be part of the plan? I'm not going to eat him. I might cut him up and learn a thing or two but at the end of the day I'll let him rot in a field for the crows to enjoy. If you as me, I don't think there's any plan at all. I don't even think StarClan or the Gods have the ability to spin everything in their favor. This is a proven fact because we know that Gods can and do in fact die. Wonder where they go? Is it part of the design? Oh wait, weren't they the ones that were supposed to have the blueprints?" Creek shrugged, he was pretty satisfied with this discourse, especially since it was one that didn't technically have a final answer. He usually avoided subjects that he couldn't quantify but for whatever reason he was enthralled with this one. He'd never spoken to cats with such bright and shiny convictions.
SUNCLAN DiscordantpawFaith "Are you kidding me? We are thinking the same thing," Discordantpaw replied, a crooked grin spreading across her face, and, for a split second, she had that same crazy look in her eyes as her mother. It was fleeting, though, this she-cat's darkness was tempered by inexperience. She'd hardly spilled any blood in her short lifetime but she certainly had the potential. Not that today was that day, but she felt freest in the League, it was a lot less pressure than SunClan, "Arcticpaw needs to grow up. She's too soft to be the High Priestess's daughter. What do you have in mind?"
RENEGADE REGIME Cadet HavliahFaith Cadet Havliah saw some movement out of the corner of his eyes and saw young Arcticpaw headed his way. He glared at her intensely and did everything he could to say without speaking that he wanted her to stay well and away from him. He didn't like cats from any of the Clans but he especially hated those from SunClan. After all, it was their former High Priestess who was the prime suspect in the murder of his parents and half of his siblings.
"Oh, you want to toughen her up, well maybe we can tell her that she can't be our friend until she proves that she's brave. She would do anything to not lose all of her friends so she'll do whatever we tell her to. We could use some muscle though to make sure no one intervenes or even keep her from tapping out," Lilacpaw said, not that she couldn't handle it, but if her sister got involved then the fun was over. Her mom would ground her for moons if she hurt her sister, not to mention she would never want to do that even if they did argue quite a bit.
SUNCLAN
Arcticpaw sniffed at her new surroundings, but ears flattened at Cadet Havliah's cold stare and walked away from him to continue looking around the first floor.
Gingersnap's ears flicked, "Oh well Arcticpaw talked about you and then overheard from her sisters. You're just SunClan material, you have a good loyal outlook, you really belong with us, y'know, DayClan is nice and all, but it really comes down to where you would thrive. I know you would thrive best in SunClan, instead of... Well y'know being a little worker bee to SunClan. I'm sorry, I know that sounds mean, but it's kind of true..." She had completely talked over Creek-chan at this point. If she knew how rude she was being she would be appauled, but to her this was simply the way life worked. SunClan at the top, DayClan second for being smart enough to serve them, Primal Instinct and Renegade Regime third for helping enough, and the rest of the clans were as super shade walkers for not supporting the favored clan of the Sun God.
Buttercuppaw looked at Creek-chan with a frown. It was clear to her that she wasn't going to persuade him. What in Starclan's name were they teaching these young cats in Primal Instinct? "Well, whatever you believe in is what you believe in. I guess that's what sets us all apart. What we believe in and the morals we decide to follow. I'll always believe that everything has a design and if you interrupt it, it can have consequences. And I believe in the morals I decide to follow such as killing is wrong. I think we should agree to disagree." She mainly wanted to stop talking about death. Her pep talk clearly wasn't working and she was getting exhausted from making her points to someone who was obviously already set in their ways. She supposed whatever he did was his decisions so long as he didn't come after her or her family. Hopefully building an acquainted relationship was enough to keep him from hunting her down someday.
Her attention was easily snatched away from Creek-chan as Gingersnap interrupted with the answer to Buttercuppaw's previous answer. Articpaw. Well, that explained a lot. Though they were friends, she was surprised that the apprentice, along with her sisters, had talked about her. She was quite interested in what they had to say. However, Buttercuppaw's interest quickly faded when Gingersnap insisted that she joined Sunclan. Dayclan wasn't perfect but it was far better than Sunclan. They weren't forced to obey a Sun God and Glowstar was an amazing leader. Also, her family lived in Dayclan. Surely she couldn't just leave Dayclan to join Sunclan. Her mother would be furious and would never let her join even if she wanted to. "Thanks but no" Buttercup responded with a shake of her head. "Dayclan is my home. I can't say I won't change my mind in the future but in the present, I must decline. My family is in Dayclan and I love it there."
(I might actually have her join Sunclan some day XD)
SUNCLAN Faith "Well, what are we waiting for?" Discordantpaw gave a sideways glance at Littlestar who still seemed preoccupied with the other leader and then silently crept toward where Arcticpaw had gone, her paw-steps as silent as dead, her black pelt becoming one with the shadows in seconds, almost as if it had always been a part of it. She crept after the other SunClan apprentice only speaking out when she was mere inches away from her, "Hey Arcticpaw, now that you're up here, I have an idea. See that tom over there? I need you to go find out his name for me, he's really cute so I think I have a crush on him, but I'm too shy to go ask him myself."
PRIMAL INSTINCT FaithSpot Creek-chan was more than used to being ignored after his little rants, so Gingersnap and Buttercuppaw's behavior didn't really phase him. He'd made his case and whether they agree with him or not was not important. He found Buttercuppaw's reply most interesting, though, most notably how she compromised and decided to let the discussion end in a tie. That was pretty mature and textbook DayClan. Gingersnap, on the other paw, just tuned him out entirely and changed the subject to something she judged more interesting, which was of course trying to convert a random cat to the Sun God's religion. Textbook SunClan.
"Buttercuppaw, you are quick to yield, you know that? You should stay far away from SunClan cats if you don't want to be worshipping the Sun God someday. Cats like you who are willing to fairly look at both sides of an argument are perfect targets for them. Or maybe not. That's the problem with predictive psychology, you can only guess one cat's behavior so far because we are always changing. The cat you are at this second isn't the same one you will be when you go home this evening." Much like how Gingersnap had spoken over him, this time he spoke over her, almost as if she wasn't even there.

SUNCLAN Jetpaw watched carefully as the other apprentices began to draw her sister away from the others. She didn't worry about most of her siblings, but it didn't take a genius to figure out that Articpaw was a little different. She was an easy target, and she wasn't about to just let them feed her to the wolves. Excusing herself from the group of young cats she had been speaking with, she made her way through the crowd pulling up beside of Articpaw placing herself between her and the other cats "Hey sis!!! You gotta come check out what I just found" she looked over at discordantpaw narrowing her eyes "If you got a crush, then go find out his name yourself" Jetpaw knew something wasn't right about this situation and she wasn't going to just let her sister be caught up in what ever scheme they were cooking up "Me and my sister have things to do, places to see"
