Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"I'm glad I came too," the dusty gray she cat replied, smiling at Umbrahound's antics. She enjoyed his company more than anyone else's at this season of her life. And for once, she didn't have any devious plans to better herself. Although, she thought, it wouldn't be a bad thing if helping to collect all this stuff made her look good to those in leadership. But to be truthful that wasn't her main objective to her being along. Rainfrost just wanted to do this.
"I can help you look after we're done with these." She flicked her paw to shake off some scales into her bag. "It would be a great way to wash off our paws when we're through with this job."
"That sounds great" he purred, pulling more scales off of his fish and into his bag. "I kind of like this whole trading thing we started doing with Renegade Regime. What do you think about it?"

"Well, to tell you the truth, I didn't like it to much at first," Rainfrost admitted. "You know, Renegade Regime is kind of weird living underground like a bunch of prey. Makes me wonder what they're hiding from." She finished descaling her fish and stood up to stretch. "But then I figured trading with them should be alright though. It's not like we're going to start living like them. I don't know about you but I wouldn't want to live like a mole or a mouse."
"I know what you mean. But if you think about it, we sort of live underground, too. We aren't that much different from them in the way that we live." He responded, finishing his scaling and leading Rainfrost to the edge of the water to look for Flint rock. "But the Regime really is great with crafts. Much better than we are. Their tools have really come in handy."

"You're right about their abilities and tools," Rainfrost agreed. Then thinking about their living conditions, she meowed, "But our cave is big and roomy. From what I hear their tunnels aren't much more than crawl spaces. The air down there would be old and stale not at all like our cave." She liked NightClan's camp. It provided them shelter from the elements but it wasn't at all confining. And it had a big enough entrance that let in plenty of fresh air.
"I suppose that is true. I do love how much space we have." He agreed, pulling out a smooth black Rock out of the water and placing it to the side to put into his bag later. "I don't think I could handle living in tunnels."

Rainfrost found a piece of flint and placed it next to the one Umberhound found. "I'm just glad I was born in NightClan," she meowed. "I pity those cats who don't have it as good as we us. Imagine living like mice!" She looked for more flint pieces. "How many do you think we need to bring back?"
"Me too" he commented, shuffling through the water for more rocks. "A good pile should be enough to make Flamingstar happy." He let out a sigh. "Those kits of hers should be born any day, now."

"Knowing her she'll probably feed them all to that owlet of hers when they come," Rainfrost commented casually as she continued to search for more flint. At this point nothing much Flamingstar would do would surprise her. "She seems to think the whole would revolves around that mouse brained bird."
Umbrahound chuckled. "I don't know. That owlet seems pretty cool. I think if we can take owls, it would be a neat ally to have. I hate to admit it but I think Flamingstar's decision to try and tame an owl is a smart idea and could help us in the long run. I wasn't sure about it at first." He admitted, giving a small shrug. "But the more I thought about it, the more I realized how beneficial it could be."

Even though Rainfrost had never been a mother, not that she didn't want to she just hadn't had the opportunity yet, her mind went immediately to what might happen with a nursery full of kits and having a full grown owl hang about camp. All those nursery tales came back to mind about owls flying off with naughty kits in their talons never to be seen again. A chill ran down her spine. "I don't know," she began. "An owl will always be an owl. What would keep it from eating kits if it takes a mind to do it?"
