Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(This is a Guys Night out rp, no she-cats and only warrior aged toms allowed!)
Sean showed up first at the meeting spot, which was right along the boundary lines of league territory. Once they all met they would cross thunderpath and into the city. After they saved the clans a group of guys decided to go out into the city and celebrate and honestly why not. They almost all died, may as well have fun while they were still being buddy buddy after helping one another get through this. Sean was a chocolate brown tom with a God given body and model smooth features. His fur was silk smooth with a long furred tail that trail behind him more like long pampered strands of hair. His chest fur was lighter in shade speckled with brown like a snow owl and the tips of ears and tail were golden. Along his exotic green eyes was a long scar over his left eye and between his eyes was a dash of dark brown highlighting his powerful gaze like lightning in the night. There was no doubt this sentinel went out of his way to look as handsome as he could, especially since he refused to sit and wait in the damp wet grass so he wouldn't ruin his fur.
Skipstep had of course first made sure, A. Littlestar was well set for the night and their kits were all reassured. B. That Jetclaw had recovered from her head injury. Truthfully his sister was raging mad, and honestly, making her the best guard for SunClan right now. Her fury driving her to keep a close watch on Sun, ready to shred anything that reared it's ugly mug in a threatening manner.
Perfect timing for him to take a breather.
He flicked his tail to Bloodyrondo, "Come on, it's an opportunity for us to familiarize ourselves with our fellow clan cats, after all, there is much to be learned when cats are in good spirits. They get... looser with certain matters." He said with a wink. "And that gives potential for not only some fun, but also potential information gathering."
////----////
"This where we're all meeting?" Squirrelleap drawled as he trotted up to Sean. He'd seen the tom a few times before, but hadn't had any personal interactions with him before now.
"I don't know about this, Skipstep." Bloodyrondo was not wearing any body-paint, but was still well-groomed, his long, ginger fur sure to draw the eye. He usually loved having such a colorful pelt, but his confidence had not yet recovered from the wound that was the MoonClan raid, so he sort of wished he blended into the background better tonight. Bloodyrondo knew it was good for him to go outside and meet other Clans and cats, though. Like Skipstep said, he could gather some useful information, and maybe even relax a little, "Although I am excited to see the city..."

Of course, Funk would show up. This was his backyard, his playground. After all the drama with love and family and his brand new throat scar, he needed a little r&r. Course, it was Sean heading up the whole thing and that wasn't fun. But oh well. They made a deal to not talk about those last few days, so hopefully Sean would keep up his end of the deal. Though Funk wasn't coming alone, he needed some buffer. Which was where his eldest son came in.
Moonlitnocturne had been reprimanded enough. One of his ears was torn from the middle up, his muscles still ached like the dickens and now Littlestar was giving him the run around. Course, Jetclaw was furious and the Janus only managed to slip out through a long forgotten tunnel out of camp on pure luck. First place he ran to was the League, where his dad welcomed him temporarily with open arms. You'd think Funk would accept him back, but only on the condition the flame point accompanied him this evening. So now he begrudgingly walked along, though the smell of Sunclan made him slow down only for Funk to keep pushing him forward.
Skipstep waved his tail at Bloodyrondo. "IT'll be lovely, trust me, we'll both get to enjoy some relaxation and fun. The Sun God knows we could both use some," It was sad actually, he couldn't think of the last time he'd had fun without Littlestar. He loved her dearly but truly he had been very hyperfocused on his mate and family.
IT was funny to think he'd once been so carefree. It would be nice to chase that old self for a little while, but be content knowing his responsibilities and loved ones would be waiting for him. He could afford to be a bit immature tonight.
However when he caught a familiar scent he frowned. Turning towards the source as Funk and Moonlitnocturne arrived. Skipstep lifted his head considering the two. "Well well," He said. "Already our night is off to a fantastic start Bloodyrondo." The tan and black tom said to the Priest Promised. Skipstep dipped his head to Funk, "Hello Funk, it seems you've found a wayward sun follower."
So... Skipstep drug him out just to make him spend time with the two cats who cause him the most stress. Great. What was he trying to do, be a therapist? Bloodyrondo glared at Skipstep then changed his focus to Moonlitnocturne and Funk, his fur bristling ever so slightly, try as he might to keep his cool. His brother was not allowed to leave camp until his punishment for joining the Shadow Era was decided, so of course he would be here. He had sort of expected to see Funk, too, since the city was his territory, but not so soon and definitely not with his traitorous brother. "Why am I not surprised?" He growled to Moonlitnocturne, trying to ignore his father for now, he really was just another cat as far as he should be concerned, "Once a traitor, always a traitor. I don't understand why Littlestar is so lenient with you."

"Of course it's them." Moonlitnocturne growled under his breath as he and Funk approached the group. Great. His brother who wore his ass as a hat and the brother of the girl that hated him. He really was lucky. Funk's tail gently lifted his head up, "Chin up dear. Eyes on the prize." Was all the Nemesis needed to say before turning back to the group. Moonlit glared daggers at Bloodyrondo but it was Funk who spoke up first to Skipstep. "I suppose so but at least for tonight, he's just another guy." Funk paused looking down at his two sons. "And once a kiss up, always a kiss up. She's still keeping you around after that Moonclan incident?" Moonlit's hiss was accompanied by Funk smacking him on the head, following by hitting Bloodyrondo similarly, "Remember this is a chance for us to relax. Not get into another fight." The bengal's smile was sharp and threatening. He held little love for his adult kits, more so these that have been estranged to him all his life. He came to have a good time, and one he will have.
Sean waved a tail at Funk as he arrived, but was caught off guard by Bloodyrondo's question, "Why's he a traitor? was he a part of the Shadow Era?"
"Yeah."
Sean's fur stood on end as Duskslayer walked out, Sean's entire fur bristled before moving back into place, "Don't do that! Coming up behind me, I didn't even know anyone else was coming."
Duskslayer was a looker, dusky brown fur swept across his hourglass form with shadowy under tones wisping in and out of his fur. He had white at the back of his back legs and white at the front of his front legs with a sliver of a crescent moon marking beside his right eye. Not the best marking to have when your a SunClan cat, most looked at the crescent moon his face like a bad omen. His dizzy exotic turquoise eyes seemingly stared right through Sean's anatomy. Duskslayer shrugged slightly, "Yeah I saw Skipstep and Bloodyrondo leave and decided not to sit out and be lame. I'll choose a character later."
He was Darkcomplex and Glowstar's son, it was easy to see it too, he had her hourglass figure and intricate detailed fur like his father. He was a part of a litter of four, but all of his siblings left SunClan when he was an apprentice, many had thought he would abandon SunClan too, but he was often seen as being very close with Darkcomplex, which was probably why he had stayed loyal.
Sean watched Funk smack both of his sons and cringed with a slight smile, he was also pretty rough with his sons, it was a good thing he never had many, always blessed with daughters, "So those two yours?" He asked Funk E'tan.

Funk would never say he was a good father, but if it stopped these two from fighting he was fine with it. Besides, it didn't hurt, only sting a bit. Moonlit rubbed his forehead and let out a sigh, resigning himself to step back for now. Especially if Duskslaver was there. He dragged him back to Sunclan once, he'd do it again.
Funk heard Sean's question as Duskslaver joined the group, nodding to him before turning back to the two. "You both hold high positions in the Pride Alliance. Do better before you're a disgrace to Sunclan." Moonlit wouldn't care, he knew that. But Bloody must have. He took a couple steps over to the pair. "If you'd like to call them that, you'd technically be right. Though I only met them shortly before this whole moon drama. Sorry about that. Hopefully they'll realize their positions and cool off."
Squirrelleap blinked frowning as he considered the two toms. Bloodyrondo was a decent enough sort from what he'd seen, but he narrowed his eyes. He didn't like the look of the other son. "Really, the league kept you that busy?" The tabby tom asked.
Skipstep shrugged, he already knew Moonlitnocturne didn't give a flip about serving the Sun God much less keeping things good for the Pride Alliance.
"Don't touch me," Bloodyrondo growled after he was smacked by Funk. He dew his paw to the spot immediately, cleaning it off, as if the bengal tom's paw had been dirty. It took a lot of willpower not to say anything else to the Nemesis. The ginger tom was doing his best not to ruin the experience for everyone else but positively fumed when Moonlitnocturne mentioned the MoonClan incident. He just could not let that one go, "At least I always have SunClan's best interest in heart. You really are a piece of work to think you can talk to me about something like that when you tried to destroy not just SunClan, but all the Clans the other day." He did not respond to Funk's chastising about being a bad representative of the Pride Alliance. He could care less what they thought of him, but he did not want to make things even harder for Littlestar. She had had to clean up his mess with MoonClan once before and that had been bad enough. Bloodyrondo had to admit that there were perks to having powerful friends, even if the had significant differences. He sighed dramatically and tried to change subjects, "So, what are we doing anyway? Just going to stand here and socialize?"

This was no way to make friends, or at least keep things peaceful. If he wanted to pass Funk's test, or worse, survive in Sunclan, he needed to listen to what Funk said. Play nice. Common sense was an enemy, and protectiveness. The cream Janus sat next to Funk, offering each a quick nod but nothing more for now. Not till they left. Not till Vampmyers was out of his fur.
Funk didn't even acknowledge the other conversations, looking towards Squirrelleap. "You'd be surprised how much work it is. Especially now that our districts have all spread out across the city."
"We're going to cross thunderpath and into the city, the monsters are like herds of sheep during this time, they're slow and stay on the path. We could touch their paws and they wouldn't crush it so take your time crossing. However we need to cross back before dawn ends or else we'll never be able to cross this path again till nightfall. Be careful about strangers, all of our groups except NightClan have made enemies out there, if they find out we're forest cats they might not be happy," Sean explained. Once he was done he led them a short distance to thunderpath, all the monsters were bumper to bumper with one another, practically parked.
Sean leaned his head to the side signalling for the rest to follow him. He walked underneath the middle of the cars and got half way across traffic than left over a concrete small wall, vanishing.
Duskslayer looked both ways, but the monster seemed still, "He wasn't exactly sure how to protect the Janus or the Promised so he walked up first and got to the half way point waiting for the other two to follow.
Bloodyrondo did not trust this new cat, Sean, but the stranger validated what he had said when he crossed the thunderpath easily enough. He saw Duskslayer take off next and followed after him. He had never walked across pavement before and felt the sensation unsettling, so he shifted his weight and tip-toed, the goal being to minimize the amount of time his bare paw-pads were touching the ground. He surprised himself when he asked, "Have you ever been in the city before, Duskslayer?" As bristly as this young tom was, he could hardly express the kit-like excitement he had to actually go into a place he had only heard about in rumors.
"Never, but Glowstar once took me deep into the old lands of DayClan to a monster camp and behind their den was a bin full of, what Glowstar told me were chicken nuggets, they were delicious! I hear the city has all sorts of weird foods," Duskslayer exclaimed and for once didn't have a bored expression when talking with Bloodyrondo. His gaze for a moment looked away from Bloodyrondo before adding more quietly, "But I also didn't think that Revolution cats would be with us."
He felt bad about Moonlitnocturne leaving his own brother, he knew how hard that was. Darkcomplex and Glowstar led a complicated relationship that took a toll on his father, but when all of his siblings left swearing hatred onto one another it felt like it would never be repaired. He still hadn't seen Cinnamonpaw in a long time, he probably had his warrior name by now.

Moonlitnocturne followed the group, eyes grazing the thunderpath before following it. With his wanders, he was used to walking into twoleg-dom. But he still mouthed a 'thank you' to Duskslayer for keeping an eye out for him. Though he really had no one to walk with. Not after that outburst. It was fine, he could wait.
Funk didn't really look. He walked like a king, only cocking an ear to listen to any incoming cars before crossing the street. He came to the front of the group casually, looking over at Sean. "What's your plan for tonight, Sean? I presume you have one."
"You ate something and you didn't know where it came from? Gross." Of course Bloodyrondo would fixate on something superficial. He was not a deep thinker and, even if he was, he was a little too nervous to stay on any one thought very long. He already had changed gears and was watching Funk walk across the thunderpath like he owned it. In a way, he did. The ginger tom tried to relax and match his father's more kingly saunter but nearly tripped over his own two paws. Cursing, he returned back to his original hurried pace but found himself at the back of the group. He cleared his throat and continued his conversation with Duskslayer, "I'm not so sure this is a good idea."
"It's pretty common over in DayClan, usually this time of the year they scavenge a lot over there and steal two-leg food to eat," Duskslayer explained. He made it over to the other side with the rest of the group, it was true, these monsters were hardly moving, but their breath smelled awful. Looking at Funk and Sean he nodded slightly at Bloodyrondo's comment, he wasn't sure if this was a good idea either, he hadn't even known who would be showing up, but he wasn't firmly against this or anything, it just felt weird. He looked back at Bloodyrondo, "So your dad is the nemesis of Primal Instinct? What's that like?"
Sean shrugged his shoulders, "I got this one place in mind, it doesn't really have a name, but it's one of the best hunting spots around. There are all these giant mice, easy to kill too and it's pretty fun to climb around in the place, it's almost like an artificial forest for cats like kittypets to enjoy, but for us I figured it would be fun to hunt for sport." Being sentinel he never hunted at all, it was a scouts job and not his place so while not ideal this was one of the few times he'd be able to fulfill that desire to catch his own prey.
"I don't know, he's hasn't been a part of my life up until now," Bloodyrondo replied dismissively, "He may as well be a kittypet curled up on a twoleg's lap for all I care." Bloodyrondo was usually eager to share his opinions but this one was not one he was ready to give. He wanted to change the subject mainly because he could not come up with a good answer for the question. Thankfully, Sean spoke up and give him an easy way to shift the conversation. Bloodyrondo's ears perked up a bit at the description but the place seemed totally foreign. An artificial forest Seemed pointless to him, but he was curious nonetheless, "Looks like you can get a real meal tonight instead of those, lickin' nuggets, or whatever they were called."

Funk nodded, vague memories bobbing to the surface. He remembered being taken there when he was young, but also remembered being disappointed that they weren't real trees. A crushing blow for young Funk. And he knew he'd still be disappointed but eh, why not. If it was his choice, he'd take everyone gambling, Probably why they didn't let him choose.
