Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lambpaw could finally feel his body beginning to relax, letting his mind take control of his movements as Flamingsoul directed him on what to do next. Attack her, claws sheathed, don't hold back. With that thought he built up some power in his hind legs and released it as he launched forward toward the Nightclan deputy.
(I'm not very good at describing battle attacks so they always come out confusing lol! So of this confused you, think back to the lion king. It's basically the same move Nala uses on Simba throughout the movie, just with a little extra detail XD )
Flamingsoul waited for the attack. Once the Tom's body hit against her's, she locked her forelegs with his and gently gripped the skin around his neck to secure him and fell with the weight of Lambpaw. However, her fall blended gracefully into a roll on her back, placing her back paws on the apprentice's belly in mid roll, and flipped the apprentice over Flamingsoul's head. Instead of releasing the tom and sending him sprawling, she flipped with him and pinned him on his back. Flamingsoul released Lambpaw and took a step back, shaking the dust from her fur and allowing him to recollect himself. "Think you could try something like that? It's both a defense and an attack."
As the apprentice made contact with Flamingsoul and her legs locked around his, he realized he was trapped and at her mercy as she flipped them both until he was pinned beneath her. His eyes screwed shut as his body made contact with the ground and a gusty grunt escaped his mouth, Lambpaw moved to a seated position as the Nightclan deputy released him and stepped back. "I might be able to, but you are bigger than me so I'll have to be careful." The latter of his words what mostly meant for himself, a thought said aloud.
"Right." He barley got the word out before she launched herself forward, forcing himself not to doge her attack he did his best to copy what she had done. He struggled to lock his forelegs with hers but with some effort managed to get the grip he needed, with his teeth lightly fastened to her scruff he tried to use her weight to roll them back as she had done but it wasn't enough and Lambpaw hit the ground, the weight of the she-cat knocking the breath from his lungs.
Flamingsoul leaped off the tom and sniffed him. "Are you okay?" She asked, afraid she may have just crushed him. Perhaps this move was too advanced for him right now.
There was an overwhelming sense of relief as Flamingsouls weight lifted off of him, he took in a deep breath and rolled onto his side before sitting up. "I'm okay, just a little embarrassed... You make that look easy." His chest was still heaving but as he regained his composure it started to calm down, his eyes traveled to the warrior and he let out a chuckle. "I guess I need to practice more, huh?"
"So long as it doesnt invole you landing on top of me again, I'm in. I think I'd like to work my way up to that stuff." He shook his body to release the dirt that clung to his curls, and faced his trainer with a nod. "I'm ready."
Amusement flickered for a split moment in Flamingsoul's eyes before she nodded. Then, she spun around and kicked at Lambpaw with her back legs, balancing on her front paws.
