Glowstar's eyes widened and anticipated Goldenpaw to say more, perhaps a star at the end. Sadly, she wouldn't doubt Foxstar would do something like this, but although her senses were up the scent of fox that clung to Kasdeya's fur had delayed reaching her nose until now. Glowstar knelt down by Goldenpaw, her serene gaze turning to look back at the drag markings where Goldenpaw had clearly tried to drag Kasdeya all the way back home. She had been for long enough, her grass stained green paw gently rubbed the back of Goldenpaw's head, "You're okay," She whispered, but her emerald eyes couldn't move away from Kasdeya's body. She was gone, she had come to DayClan to escape from the league and despite her efforts to live a peaceful life and take care of those who needed her strength... Well she did what she came here for, had a good life, protected those that deserved a chance at life. She just wished it hadn't been cut short.
Glowstar nosed Goldenpaw gently, "You're in shock, Goldenpaw, you can't keep walking like this, get on my back. I can manage bringing Kasdeya back," She reassured with a voice that sounded warmer than a summer breeze with a rich, rare kind of confidence that only parent figures seemed to have to kits who didn't know better, but for her the confidence was genuine and true. Glowstar was tall and lean and while her endurance wasn't great she knew she would be able to carry Goldenpaw and haul Kasdeya back even if it wouldn't be easy.

Shock? Was that truly what this was? She felt like she'd finally taken her eyes off the bottom of the bed and now she was finally being dragged under. Like everything negative said to her was true. She couldn't even... listen. Her stomach turned on herself, and she almost threw up. Finally pulling her claws out her ears, her claws now specked with blood and her ears stung harshly. Her dark brown eyes traced the blades of grass, unable to meet Glowstar's. She wanted to protest, at least walk on her own. But she couldn't. Her voice was weak from screaming, but she managed to cough out an 'okay' before standing on shaky legs.
Glowstar pushed herself into Goldenpaw, lowering her body a bit for the apprentice to get on. Once Goldenpaw got onto her back she gripped onto the scruff on the back of Kasdeya's neck and began pulling her along with a huff. A part of her had to lie to herself, pretending Kasdeya was just knocked out, if she even acknowledged it a little she knew she'd lose some of her strength and the path back to DayClan would only become longer. Her mind wandered, two lives, Kasdeya had to have lost two lives, what tremendous amount of pain had she been in?
DayClan's camp came up in the distance as she picked up her pace and once there let Kasdeya go and walked off a little to the side to lean down for Goldenpaw to gently get down.

Goldenpaw's conscience let go as soon as she settled on Glowstar's back. Her mind went blank, just retreating into the unknown until it had to face reality again. The forest and fields blurred like a water color painting, and she could hardly see the trees or grass from it. The small part that moved her eyes felt bad, that she was now weighing the leader the down, but the rest of her couldn't care or move to apologize anymore. Bright sun rays forced her eyes shut, and she almost drifted off. The blood had dried all over her paws, and the faint red color was her only anchor to reality.
She snapped back as Glowstar stopped, like she had been dunked in ice cold water. Slowly climbing off of Glowstar, she looked between her to Kas' body to her own bloody paws to the entrance. She couldn't believe it was real, like it was a bad nightmare. The rest of her hadn't caught up to fight her on that, instead her half-conscious could only ask in a mutter "What do we do now?"
"We let Flyingcolors and Brakewings take care of Kasdeya, you can either come to moon creek with me or you can return to your nest and rest," Glowstar said with a distant expression.
She couldn't imagine being Goldenpaw's age and going through something like that. No one had ever died when she was young, it was only when she moved to Primal Instinct, practically a warriors age that people around her fell in battles.
(I've been trying to lengthen this reply for hours and like, I give up, I'll make the next reply cool xD)

(oof big mood there)
Goldenpaw shuddered, looking back at Kasdeya's now still body. She should go rest, she knew that. But she feared it. Feared seeing that fox as soon as her eyes closed. With teeth gnashing right in front of her eyes. And Kas' jumping in front of them. Shaking her head, they faded away and she turned to look up at Glowstar for a moment. She didn't really know what she expected, but a distant reply wasn't quite it, and it chipped at her heart.
"I'll come to the Moon Creek with you. I don't think I can sleep." But her own voice sounded just as distant, and she understood.
"I don't think I want to sleep either, but I suppose when I get there I'll have to," Glowstar said as she led the way to Moon Creek.
Upon entering the fields beside the shimmery lake, Glowstar paused. Her eyes narrowed for a moment as though seeing something, but walked forward anyways, "When I'm feeling lost I will at times come here. I've never been able to speak with a DayClan cat so I often find ancestors of Primal Instinct and Renegade Regime. When I do I listen closely to their advice and do the opposite of it."
Glowstar lied down by the side of the creek, "You may join me, perhaps you'll have a dream of your own, or simply share mine."

Somehow the walk was easy. Goldenpaw didn't question why. When they made it to the Moon Creek, her paws suddenly felt so heavy. She didn't notice anything, instead finding herself staring at the clear shimmery surface of the creek. A shiver ran down her spine at the idea of running into anyone from Primal Instinct. She shouldn't be surprised if they did, all three of them had some connection to the group. A small laugh rumbled in her throat at Glowstar's quip. It was just like her to, to give a little levity in this tense moment. Goldenpaw settled down a short distance away from Glowstar, the blood and dirt caked between her toes digging into her flesh. "Alright. Thank you." She didn't take her eyes off of Glowstar, admittedly having no idea what to do from here.
In moments there was black and then light again. Goldenpaw had awoken in StarClan, but her paws, nor the rest of herself were starry, unlike everything else around her. Where Glowstar stood was among dark trees, frost created cracks in the dark earth and even her own breath was visible. She stood there for a moment, waiting for something to happen or someone to come, but nothing ever did. Glowstar retreated over to Goldenpaw, "I always have to check that area to see if my late husbands demon ever comes back, but he hasn't talked to me since I've become leader. The demon always had a hold on him, it was a part of him he couldn't rid himself of. But it gave surprisingly good advice, granted most of it was kill and conquer, but that's not exactly a poor choice in options," She shrugged.
Glowstars choice in toms always were... Interesting. And then there was Foxstar who she always seemed a little too obsessed with, but no one ever made a comment about because no one wanted to know. Her emerald gaze swept over to Goldenpaw, "Do you want to rise up and take Kasdeya's position? I mean, we are here," She said with a fake casual tone before releasing a breath of air, "I've watched you grow up Goldenpaw and while you're not a warriors age yet you've got the spunk and doe eyed fresh set of eyes we could use. Normally I'd think this over, but I hate walking more than I care about thinking this over so what do you think? Want to know what it's like to feel immortal? Two lives and all the power and glory that follows."
(Now I'm just imagining a Spiderman movie,
Goldenpaw: Oh I get it, this is a test, isn't it?
Glowstar: Uhhh, yes. And you passed, great job.
Windchaser: Glowstar what the heck, we need a new immortal council member!
Glowstar: Okay, but like the kid learned a valuable lesson, I didn't want to ruin the moment.)

(poor golden is getting whiplash. Glow: your friend who was immortal council died so do you wanna take her place? be immortal? Golden: they didn't help her that much Glow: yeah but power)
Goldenpaw watched Glowstar take a drink and quickly mimicked her, letting the world melt away into darkness. Awaking again into the starry sky, she stood up, far too in awe of everything around her to notice Glowstar's disappearance. She looked exactly as she did that morning, bright fluffing fur sticking out without any of the blood and stress of what happened. The sky above her was endless, but also the stars looked close enough for her to catch them, and she stood on her hind legs to try. Only to fall right back down. Rustling nearby made her jump to her paws speedily, but she relaxed when Glowstar was came out of the forest. Tilting her head at her leader quizzically, she was curious but also had the feeling it would be better not to pry into that. Still, a late husband's demon? Who just lets themselves get possessed by a demon? Or whatever happened? She found herself shrugging at that, a bit surprised at how the idea of kill and conquer stopped making her skin crawl.
"What? Me?" Thrust back into reality, she tried to find any sense of humor or joking in Glowstar's eyes or tone. But she came up empty, and sat down, resting her tail over her paws. Her? In the Immortal Council? Just like Kasdeya. She'd admit the idea was tempting, but still, it felt so sudden. Her mother figure dies and now she is suddenly offered the position, like she had won it from her somehow. Besides, the two extra lives didn't do much for Kas against the fox. Her mind was muddied with emotion, each pro and con speeding through it. Too much, it was far too much for her to take. Her respite was so small, she could no longer go back to that way of life from before. So one part sought to silence everything, making her raise her voice in a steady "Yes." her brown eyes attempted to cover up the madness.
(Sorry for the short reply) "Do you think you can handle a life ceremony? You are still an apprentice and gaining lives is painful," Glowstar explained, "We can always come back if need be."

"Wasn't the point of asking me now was so we wouldn't have to come back later?" Her retort was too quick, far too much so for speaking to her leader. Ears flattening against her head, she looked down as a wash of shame bowled over her. But the dilemma. Honestly, if she didn't take them now, she wouldn't. The voices would resound only louder in her mind, only cause her to doubt herself. But this was something she wanted, not just for Kas but for herself. "Yeah, I can handle it."
"Well I'm not going to force you to go through a painful procedure when you've already been scarred for life. Do you know how that would effect the popular vote come voting season?" Glowstar smirked, taking full advantage that Goldenpaw hadn't been born in DayClan and therefore couldn't say if that was wrong or right. They were a pretty weird clan.
"Alright, if you're ready then," Glowstar said with a nod of her head and walked forward.
(Jumping scenes because the rpers for those cats aren't around anymore)
Glowstar drowsily opened her eyes before stretching out her limbs and coming to a full stand. Awakening from Moon Creek was never easy, half the time she felt groggy and few times did she ever awake full of energy, "How are you feeling Goldenpaw?"
