Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
1) Be polite to SunClan cats at all times, even when they pretend that being a cult member makes them cool
2) Be respectful even when a SunClan cat says something stupid
3) The goal is to have a nice relationship with SunClan so for God sakes be kind
4) If I cough you gotta let go of the subject
5) No mentioning Foxstar unless it's brought up first
Glowstar hadn't traveled to SunClan in a long time. Originally she needed to be in DayClan to help them recover from SunClan. Then when the warmer moons came she had family drama to deal with. Now there was Foxstar drama and she was attempting to avoid SunClan, but Littlebird was a good person. She deserved DayClan's support and perhaps this was a good opportunity to try and strengthen SunClan and DayClan's alliance once more. Despite every SunClan cat knowing Glowstar they of course, still proceeded to call her by her SunClan name Strikhedoniadalisay. She was never sure if Foxstar gave that name to annoy her, or to annoy her clan by trying to pronounce it. At Strikhedoniadalisay's side was Windchaser, her immortal council member, or in other words, her deputy. While she didn't have SunClan membership status like she had, Windchaser had been an initiate.
"To SunClan their entire territory is holy ground, but you were allowed on it once and we're extending an olive branch so I'm hoping Littlebird will understand," Glowstar explained, but nonetheless decided it was best to wait on SunClan's border hoping for Littlebird specifically to appear.
"Im just glad we dont have to deal with Foxstar" Windchaser mumbled half to herself. She could never forgive Foxstar for what she had done but the Sunclan leader had disappeared. From what Glowstar had said, Littlebird seemed to be a genuine character but she decided that she would be the judge of that. Windchaser flicked her tail impatiently as she waited with her leader at the border for a Sunclan patrol to invite them over. "Sunclan can walk all over our territory whenever they feel like it. Why cant we do the same?"
"Because that's not how things work here." Darkcomplex had gone back to SunClan the day before to do some hunting, so that Littlebird didn't start thinking he'd up and ditched before he decided whether or not he truly wanted to stay. He glanced at Windchaser, offering an amicable wave of his tail in greeting. "The Sun God deemed our land sacred, as Glowstar says. Outsiders aren't to taint it with their presence. As for you being allowed here, even if Littlebird decides it's okay this once, I'd be careful. You were a former initiate. By returning to DayClan, you forfeited your place in SunClan. That means you're marked for death here. And once Foxstar returns, don't expect any special allowances." Littlebird was a kinder cat than their captured Priestess, but even he knew the rules that surrounded initiation. He also expected the Promised to be nearby, he'd seen her in this portion of the territory earlier that day, which was perhaps why he didn't offer to let them in himself. He also didn't attack, of course. Not that he really thought Glowstar would let him attack her clanmate.
She supposed a morning hunt without interruptions was to much to ask for, but she had at least thought she would have managed to catch something before her duties called to her once more. It was one of the reasons she had asked Singedwolf to accompany her. Cats in SunClan avoided him, due to his harsh demeanor and his status as an initiate. The official reason for taking him out into their territory was to 'teach him about sunclans ways', but it was just an excuse to escape the politics and tense atmosphere of SunClan's camp... even for just a few moments. Unlike other cats, he didn't say what he thought she wanted to hear. Only the truth, no matter how brutal or harsh.
With a small sigh, she turned away from the mouse she had been stalking and towards the boarder that they shared with DayClan. It hadn't bee hard for her to pick up on the scent of Strikhedoniadalisay or Strik as she liked to call her in more informal situations. It wasn't that odd, but the other scents that the wind carried with it were. It was familiar, and yet strange all at once. As they grew closer she motioned for Singedwolf to remain farther back and out of sight. He was a great protector, but not quiet that right fit for a political situation and there were only three cats standing before them.
She emerged from the underbrush just as Darkcomplex finished speaking "It's rather bold of you to assume that I will be making any special allowances" her eyes narrowed, unsure of their intentions. With Foxstar out of the picture temporarily, anything could happen. There were cats in DayClan that still despised SunClan for imprisoning them in the not so distant past. Littlebird had ensured that SunClan had not relaxed on their boarder security, but some could seek to take advantage of their leader's disappearance to make a move.
I told her not to bring her pregnant butt over here, but noooo
"No one even memorizes those rules anyways. Just like how most people don't have the warrior code memorized," Glowstar reassured Darkcomplex and Windchaser when in reality Glowstar probably just didn't study the different cultural laws as rigorously as literally everyone else. At Littlebird's arrival Glowstar dipped her head, "Hey Littlebird, we were wondering if DayClan and SunClan could have a playdate to attempt to mend our relationship. Your fur looks super cute today by the way. Also Windchaser's pregnant and if you kill her I'll call you Babykillerstar and it'll catch on. So like... Let's not go there. Anyways, are you in or what?" Glowstar asked casually deciding to get to the point since Littlebird seemed distressed and even a little annoyed at their presence.
"Also I made you something to eat. I roasted little birds in the sun and stuffed it inside of a snake that I seasoned with cinnamon and nutmeg. Don't ask how I figured out that tastes good."
Darkcomplex shrugged slightly, giving the Promised a nod at her arrival. Not surprised she'd shown up already. "Depends on how generous you're feeling. Or how convincing Strikhedoniadalisay is." He wouldn't be making any arguments today. Whatever this was, exactly, he wasn't in a position of authority in either clan, so his opinion was mostly irrelevant. Until they sent him away, he was just here to listen, really.
Of course, this was already an interesting meeting, if Glowstar's comments were anything to go by.
Strikhedoniadalisay was an odd one, she would give her that. Each time that she spoke in such a manner, she sounded more like a scatter brained apprentice than the leader of a clan. She jumped from topic to topic as easily as a flea from pelt to pelt.
Littlebird had grown more accustomed to the odd manner of speaking, but there were still times in which she had trouble following strick's train of thought. In a matter of moments she had asked her to a 'playdate', complimented her appearance, revealed windchaser's pregnancy, pleaded mercy for said she-cat, threatened to blackmail her, and then offered her a gift. She supposed if Strikhedoniadalisay's goal was to bombard her with information and make it difficult to reply than she had succeeded.
"Babykillerstar" she mused, a small smile tugging at the edge of her lips despite her annoyance of being disturbed. "Not quiet as eloquent as Strikhedoniadalisay, but I suppose it is close enough"
She then turned her golden gaze to Windchaser, a quick glance confirmed that what Strikhedoniadalisay had spoken was true. Not that it would make much of a difference either way. If she had crossed the boarder uninvited, Littlebird would have been duty bound to carry out the mark of death that had been placed upon her no matter her personal feelings on the matter. However, the fate awaiting WIndchaser had she done so would not have been a simple execution. She would have been whisked away into the prisoners den, forced to wait on the arrival of her kits knowing that they would be taken away and given to another to raise while she rotted beneath the ground. It had been done before, and no matter how distasteful she found it the Janus would ensure that it was carried out with or without her permission. "I would rather not see bloodshed, but if she is found on our lands only the sun god himself could save her" it was not a threat, but a warning. She could not control what the Janus would do should they get their paws on the pregnant she-cat. Even now they would berate her for not killing the traitor upon sight. They didn't realize the position they were putting her in simply by allowing Windchaser to walked away from this.
Littlebird turned back to Strik "I would like to mend the relationship that SunClan once shared with DayClan. However, there are hurt feelings on both sides. Many would rather have revenge than peace. What is it that you had in mind?"
The pregnant Dayclan warrior narrowed her bold green eyes at Darkcomplex, her dark ginger fur rising slightly along her spine. Hippocrate, Windchaser thought to herself when the Sunclan warrior mentioned that they werent allowed to cross their border because their precious sun god said so even though Glowstar allowed them to wonder around on theirs.
Before she could say anything to Darkcomplex, Littlebird appeared. She flicked her brilliant green eyes toward the she-cat as she approached. Well isnt she pleasant, Windchaser judged as the Promised warned her about crossing the border and what would happen to her. She clenched her jaw and forced her fur to lay low. She swallowed back a growl that was trying to force its way up her throat. She looked at Glowstar, expectantly. Shed rather not say a word with the fear of saying something that would upset the Sunclan cats. If she did, Glowstar would make her go home. Instead, she kept quiet, the words she wished she could say rang in her mind but she kept quiet.
"Listen, Littlebird. This is super important and I know you might not like my plan and I know how prideful SunClan can be. But because I love you, and I love the home you live in and the cats in SunClan I need to be very honest about the situation you're in. DayClan is your only friend. Foxstar's burned every other bridge. There is no mending what you had with NightClan, SpringClan's out, Renegade Regime hates your entire clan and MoonClan definitely doesn't like you. If this doesn't work you're screwed the next time you mess with a forest clan, you're probably screwed the next time you mess with any clan. That's what Foxstar has left to you, but I'm not about to let you get thrown under the monster, alright? I'm not your guardian angel, but I'm your monster under the bed and I will seriously mess anyone up who endangers your future," Glowstar said, her gaze burned like wildfire and there was such unconditional love and promise to her voice someone could have thought she was talking to her own child. She may as well have, she looked everything like Goldenstar, but sounded every bit like her mom. Hazethroat deserved to be leader and she never got it, she'd be damned if her daughter, Littlebird's attempt at keeping SunClan together would fail.
Glowstar exhaled a breath, "So! Here's what I'm thinking, we throw a wicked awesome party. You bring food, we bring food, same exact amount though. We can hold it at Endless Falls and some of your cats can come early to help decorate so no one gets to brag about who's better at decorating. This is meant to be about new beginnings, but to do that we have to go through our ugly past. Which means both sides need to admit a part they did wrong, understand, and show some way of apologizing so we can all move on. Do you think if DayClan's willing to apologize for somethings that SunClan can too?"
Windchaser was surprised at her leader's words. She sounded so sincere. She flicked the tip of her tail and her eyes narrowed. She was being too kind to these cats, however, she still said nothing, allowing her leader to do the talking for her even though she didn't think the party would work. Sunclan cats were ruthless and fox hearts. Just the stench of them made her want to gag. During her imprisonment, she had grown to despise the entire clan, regardless whether they agreed with Foxstar's decision or not.
Littlebird had never understood why Strikhedoniadalisay saw in her. Each time the DayClan leader looked at her, it was like she was looking at someone else, and yet her gaze always held such warmth and love. At first it had freaked her out. This bubbly energetic she-cat who eclipsed all those without the strongest of wills, speaking to her is such a familiar manner despite her rank. With time she had found out that Strik had known both of her parents, but the nature of their relationship still alluded her.
Even though her words rang true, she wasn't about to blindly accept an invitation to some party. With the regime already knocking on their doorsteps, she couldn't be certain that this wasn't some sort ruse to lure them in. So she decided to through a wrench in the idea. If strik's intentions were true than it shouldn't make a difference, but if she hesitated then perhaps there was more to this than met the eye "A party? It's not a terrible idea, however it should not be held on either of our territories. There is a meadow near the lake in the unclaimed lands. It should be approximately an even trek for both of our clans. With as much as you travel outside your lands, I assume you are familiar with the area in which I speak? We should also do it soon. Tomorrow at Sunhigh"
That would keep the DayClan cats out of SunClan lands, make a trap far less likely due to the time constraints and change in location. Littlebird watched their faces carefully as she spoke, watching their reactions with percision. "As for apologies, you know as well as I that the cats of SunClan will never apologize for something they did under the direct orders of Foxstar or in accordance with our code" nor would she force them to speak hollow words without a shred of truth. It would only make them seem even more insincere.
She could never promise an apology, and any cat that had spent time with SunClan as Strik had would understand that "however, there were things done by individuals that may wish to apologize for their actions. Times in which they took matters into their own paws , or took things farther than they should have. It likely will not satisfy all of DayClan, but it would be a step towards resolving our differences.
"Listen Littlebird, your clans gotta get off their high horse and apologize. I accept going to the meadows, but you have till the end of the party to figure out how you get your clan to meaningfully apologize or our alliance is off. Your clan forced Rubyflame to give birth, brain washed her kits, killed mothers, killed two warriors, stole and brainwashed other kits, took our ally, Burningstar's life, enslaved two clans, killed and cursed my mate, attacked MY ally, MY family in Renegade Regime, and Sun God knows what else. You think your clan is on thin ice, they're not, that ice shattered long ago and you're now drowning in freezing waters and I'm the only person left that actually cares to drag you out of this mess," Glowstar said, firmly and relaxed with a sad expression, "I know how SunClan is, but if you can't control your clan than you're not a leader at all and whether you like it or not, you gotta be one right now."
Glowstar pawed at her ear slightly prying the blue feather hanging from her left ear free, "Here," She said holding it out to Littlebird, "You can have this, it means hope, always keep it close."
Glowstar turned to Windchaser, "We got a party to plan. Also I'm recruiting Darkcomplex to help me since I already said I needed Sun cats to help."

Darkcomplex cleared his throat awkwardly, but turned to Glowstar. "I think the problem is that Littlebird can't apologize." He suggested lightly. The tom doubted anything he'd say would really help, but if there was anyone who both understood SunClan, and DayClan's point, it was perhaps him. "Foxstar's word is law. Period. Littlebird is currently in charge, but unless the Sun God tells us that she's the new High Priestess, then that fact remains, and Littlebird doesn't have the official power of a leader, nor does she have the Sun God's favor. To publicly go against anything Foxstar has ordered is essentially treason, and if it comes to it, chances are, the Sun God won't back Littlebird. She could perhaps apologize for her part in things that have directly affected you as a SunClan cat, but I doubt she has the authority to issue an apology on SunClan's behalf, no matter how much she may disagree." There was a reason many cats defected from SunClan. "Littlebird can do her best to repair things in the meantime, but if it's an apology you want, you may just have to get it from Foxstar."
He wasn't disagreeing with Glowstar that an apology was in order, but he also had spent far more time in SunClan than Strikhedoniadalisay ever had, and he knew painfully well how powerless he was. Darkcomplex knew his own options were to follow Foxstar, or to leave the clan entirely. There was no such thing as an in between. Foxstar had, with the Sun God's aid, made a system in which those below her were silenced, allowed only the freedom she gave them. And so long as the Sun God didn't step in, they were powerless to stop her.

A scent of a young cat filled the area as the wind shifted towards the gathered cats. It was clear Littlebird had not been careful enough in coming here undetected and found herself a little follower. The she-cat's ears had sprouted over the familiar scent that had wafted toward her, resulting in the apprentice peeking her head out form her hiding place, "Windchaser?"
The she-cat would pad out of her hiding place, quickly approaching her former clanmate despite the mild tension in the air. Echopaw was always a very odd apprentice of SunClan, never at all appearing fazed by any of the grim incidents that happened on their land. She was always heartwarmed when seeing old friends, always looking for a peaceful conclusion rather than a violent one. "Praise the Sun God you made it here alright, but still why have you come? I fear for your safety by simply being here."
For a moment she turned her attention to Littlebird, her expression appearing guilty especially knowing the position she was in despite having been trying to impress her. "Littlebird I'm sorry, I hope you can forgive me for following you here. I really just wanted to show you how good I've gotten and didn't expect you to be meeting these other cats here."

"Foxstar's word is law mmmeh meh meh meh meh meh meh meh Sun God's favor. Meh meh meh Foxstar. Meh meh meh meh meh is essentially treason, meh meh meh meh, you may just have to get it from Foxstar."
"Whoa... WHOA," Glowstar shook her head as if it would straighten out her thoughts, "I don't know what you just said, your SunClan I'm-A-Cultist accent got a little too thick there, but here's what I know. I escaped out of Renegade Regime's prisons twice as a kit and a cadet, they've only gotten better security over the moons. I doubt she's dead, cause they have this made up belief about a justice system. However, you guys can't seem to operate without a leader and literally don't cause you can't even have your second in command as a leader which by the way was just a doomed to fail plan to begin with. So basically what I'm hearing is you're screwed and you're so screwed you can't even operate on your own to apologize to a person."
Glowstar mouthed a wow and nudged Windchaser's shoulder as if to say Can-You-Believe-This?
"Okay, well, I'm just gonna go home now, ya'll just..." She offered a insincere smile, "You'll be fine," She said with a wave of her paw.
Glowstar turned to leave when she bumped right into Echopaw, "Oh, hey I'm sorry, I wasn't watching myself enough."
“Sunclan grovels to no one. You come here seeking peace and friendship, yet you continue to insult me and my clan. It’s a pity really. With foxstar gone this was our one chance to make ammends my friend” she paused allowering her tail to rest on the young apprentice. Darkkcomplex was right in part, it there was more to it than that. Personal feelings had no bearings here.
”come along, there is nothing left to discuss here” (sorry at work)

Darkcomplex watched Glowstar with a growing frown, frustrated and at least a small bit upset that rather than listening she'd brushed off his words as 'cultist speak'. When Littlebird finished her own response, the tom didn't bother to open his mouth again. Clearly, there was no fixing this. If Glowstar really wanted her apology, she could visit Foxstar in prison and get it.

"No don't worry, it's my fault for appearing in front of you like that," the she-cat fretted before feeling the Littlebird's tail against her pelt for a moment she appeared worried for the Priestess.
"But... Littlebird..." the apprentice spoke in hesitation when looking back at the others. Having listened for a majority of the conversation, she had a decent understanding on what exactly was happening. Her heart sank however as the other attendees seemed to admit defeat. For a moment she returned her gaze to Glowstar, "Please, hold on a moment. You shouldn't turn to Littlebird for an apology when she's simply following the duties the Sun God presented her. Our loyalty was too our high priestess, it isn't fair to judge her for our leader's decision!"
Echopaw herself was too young to have taken part in the atrocities committed between the two clans, but even the young can see when the blame was being cast way too far. To her, Littlebird's ability to question Foxstar's decisions was very limited an doing so could easily result in her losing her position in the clan forever. "Why don't we move on from what happened instead of trying to figure out who dn't do what and who needs to apologize?!"
"It's not that simple young one," Skipstep meowed. He'd been looking for Littlebird, always trying to be as close to her side as possible. He came up beside his mate, his tail resting on her flank.
"SunClan has done things that cannot be forgotten," He said simply. "We've done terrible terrible things under Foxstar's orders, if you look at it from a neutral point of view. But we are SunClan, we obey the Sun God, and his will is above simple neutrality and beyond the basic morals of cats. Foxstar is his chosen to lead us, to defy her is to defy him. Every action of SunClan starts and ends with her, that is the way of SunClan."
He shrugged his shoulders. "The apology Glowstar seeks is simply not Littlebird's to give, this is still Foxstar's SunClan, until the Sun God says otherwise or she has moved on from this world, that is the way it is. Littlebird's words and commands have value, but the blame of sunClan's actions cannot be assauged from an apology through Littlebird. Whether we empathise with the harm we've caused, we are one part of the clan, all under Foxstar. An apology from you young one, holds not the weight an apology from Foxstar would for Glowstar."
He looked up at Glowstar, "As Littlebird has said, the apology you're seeking is in the regime, Foxstar is there if you're looking to garner some form of retribution, for the penance you're looking for is not Littlebird's to give."
He smiled slightly, it would seem his time stuck with the soothsayers was paying off. He was getting better at speaking the way they speak.
She couldn't lie to herself, Littlebird, wasn't like her kit, but she definitely felt like she was her godmother. Someone meant to look out for her and staring into those cult deluded eyes it was almost hard to turn away. Mainly because they were absolutely screwed. Truthfully it was like witnessing Littlebird fall into a ditch and when she offer to help Littlebird instead vowed that if she dug deep enough she'd hit the other side of the earth and wind up on the surface. And like, how do you respond to that logic? You just have to let them dig and figure it out for themselves. It was hard to turn away, mainly because she knew if Littlebird did something stupid she wasn't going to ask DayClan for help. DayClan was really going to have to take a no negotiating with terrorists approach in the future if she wanted to avoid another SunClan in her life.
"Okay, well I love you, but you're kind of-"
Glowstar turned to Echopaw and then looked back at Littlebird, "I want pride playdates."
It seemed every time Glowstar wanted some miracle to happen she would just event something entirely new, "She's right, I'm willing to put things in the past if every moon our alliances apprentices got together to just play. That's it, no apologies, I'll even apologize to you about how I spoke to you if you do this. The theory is, they'll grow to respect each other and the alliances strength. Do you accept?"
Glowstar seemed close to giving up, her emerald shimmery eyes were paler. She knew she was being mean to her friends, but it was so unbelievably hard to watch them wait around for Foxstar who literally got herself and everyone into this mess. Witnessing just how helpless they were to Foxstar's word just made her mad at them for not wanting to leave, but at the same time being a jerk to them wasn't going to persuade them otherwise. None of this was easy...
Glowstar's gaze lifted back up into a twisted grin, "SKIPPPYYYYY," Those were the last words she got out before tackling Skipstep down, "I haven't really seen much of you since that time you chased me down, that was the best fight chase I've ever had. We should have a good play fight sometime, I bet you'd be a real challenge."
