MoonClan
Swiftstorm had led his clan to the Gathering only to find that they were the first ones there. He wasn't too surprised but, he had expected one of the Pride Clans to escort him there. He sat among his clan, feeling the eerie stillness the night had brought. The sky was clear, no clouds passed over the moon. Was the Moon God happy? Smiling down at them while they suffered? He pondered this as he sat, waiting for the Clans to gather.
Sightline stood beside, waiting until the right moment to sneak off and join Emberburn were he sat. But for now, she waited until it got busier.
Shadows shifted, then NightClan emerged, the nocturnal clan easily slipping out from the shadows.
Burningstar strolled forwards the ginger she cat's head held high amber eyes, bright. She noticed that MoonClan arrived with a slight twitch of her whiskers, but said nothing. With a flick of her tail she commanded NightClan to disperse.
Soaringbird came up to stand beside her sister, a sign of solidarity as well as to watch the leaders back while they were among MoonClan cats.
Frozenfire chuckled strolling to a prime comfortable spot in the middle of the clearing, tail held high as she chuckled looking at the MoonClan cats, a smug aura surrounding her.
SPRINGCLAN Eternalstar slipped into the gathering area and paused, surveying the Moonclan cats. Then the Nightclan cats. Her gaze cut to Swiftstorm, who seemed more a puppet leader than one of his own making. At-least for now, until Nigthclan and Sunclan grew bored for tormenting Moonclan. Springclan cats splayed out beside her, a very careful selection, those who knew how to keep their mouths shut. Those that knew how to redirect conversations and avoid saying to much. They had strict rules for the night, ones she had laid down in a careful tone. Not threatening but with and underlining steel towards the consequences that might follow should they fail simply instructions.
Instructions such as not being to friendly. As to always be on top of the conversation, the one in the lead. She wanted to rumors spread by her own tonight, they would leave that to the other clans. Springclan had suffered enough these past moons and would be welcoming no more trouble to their doorstep. There were enemies everywhere, she knew it, she saw them. They wouldn't take her though, she was cleverer than that. Her guard was never down now and she continued to expand her network. Now going as far to have her silent actors watching for internal threats within the clan, ones that might become problematic if left to grow.
Taking a breath and releasing it, almost a silent signal, Springclan finally entered the clearing. Eternalstar cutting her path towards where the leaders would stand. Her eyes cut back over her shoulder towards her actors hidden within Springclans number. Trusting them to keep her warriors in line, they her mismatched gaze found Cardinalheart, dipping her head to him as well. Though her trust in him wasn't as grounded as it could be.
NIGHTCLAN
Coyoteway carried a wicked grin upon his features as his eyes peered among the gathered cats. Golden eyes being drawn to Springclan upon their arrival. Gaze cutting to Soaringbird and Burningstar. There were no orders for the black hand this gathering, but he figured it didn't hurt for him to be perhaps a bit proactive. So the long legged chausie tom twined his way through his clanmates over towards some Springclan cats.
Though not before he paused near Moonclan, brushing past Swiftstorm to grace him with a cheeky grin. "I'm glad you found your way here alright. We worried over in Nigthclan. Thought you might get spooked and need someone to hold your paw." Letting out a soft chuckle he continued on his way, not even gracing Swiftstorm the chance to reply.
Electivememory stood close by his sister, for once able to relax knowing that she wasn't planning on doing anything on this particular night. Still, he found himself glancing at Eternalstar rather often, trying to figure out what she was thinking. Long ago, he might have been able to piece it together, but not anymore. Not since Cicero. As they made their way into the clearing, he separated from her, though his eyes kept seeking out Eternalstar.
Gatherings were one of Glaniur's favorite things. So full of lies and deceit, it was always fun to see what came out of the interactions. At least this time he wasn't here as a leader or deputy, or even as peacekeeper, so he was free to enjoy whatever he felt like. His clear gaze swept the area, ears perked for anything interesting, though he decided to stay close to the majority of the Springclan cats.
DAYCLAN The cats of DayClan traveled through the dark, their orange, bronze, and white colored pelts looked like embers sailing through the cold skies. They behaved like a fire storm, there was little pattern to how they moved or what flaming pelt took the lead. From an aerial view it might have even looked memorizing. Glowstar remained at a steady pace to ensure there was no one lagging behind before stepping into the gathering. Her emerald eyes glistened like the stars overhead with a majesty that few could match.
"Play nice, everyone," Glowstar said, her words were warm like soft beams of sunlight.
She moved like flower petals dancing on a breeze, there was a rhythm to the way she sashayed forward across the open gathering and over towards the other leaders. Like a silent song only she could hear that gave her such a stride. She smiled at Burningstar, how long had they both wanted this moment to be able to meet all the time despite being in different clans? For moons they had been living that dream enjoying one anothers company.
"Greetings Eternalstar and Swiftstorm," Glowstar said, dipping her head to them which she wasn't entirely sure if leaders actually did since very few ever returned the gesture, but whatever, she'd been doing it for years and wasn't about to stop now. The elegant leader of DayClan was always hard to keep up, but she had gone through enough excitement that she didn't mind playing her part and ignoring her blood lust roots.
NIGHTCLAN Ericanorth walked beside Frozenfire, a wolfish grin rose to her lips in delight at the sight of the MoonClan cats. Finally, NightClan was becoming the kind of clan she always knew it could be. Rising above the rest and leaving anyone who wasn't with them in the dust. Her pink albino eyes briskly moved across the crowd, DayClan was here which for once wasn't annoying now that they joined their side. Maybe MoonClan would someday wise up and toughen up to do the same. She supposed the only real odd one out was SpringClan, but they already proved to SpringClan they had the strength to take them down so she had little concern about them.
"So Frozenfire, you want to go mingle with some of these losers? After all knowledge is always helpful," Ericanorth pointed out.
Vixenpaw been to a few of these, and had decided that she hated gatherings. All the different conversations made it hard for her to follow. What if she missed something and it was important? She gave a mental shake of her head. She kept herself to the edge of the group, and closer to the apprentices group of her clan.
MOONCLAN This was Primrosepaw's first gathering, and she couldn't be more than excited. She followed close by her leader, Swiftstorm, who had came to her aide when facing Frozenfire. Ever since that incident, she couldn't help but to feel a strong loyalty towards Swiftstorm. He was her leader, and that was a fact. When MoonClan took their places, other Clans began to show up as well, and Primrosepaw's small head popped up over the crowd to see who was all there. She recognized Frozenfire, yet kept to herself, lowering back to the ground. Humming quietly, she moved through all of the felines, and accidentally stumbled upon the short conversation between Swiftstorm and Coyoteway. Hissing under her breath, Primrosepaw moved forward, ever-so-slightly shoulder-checking Coyoteway as he began to slink away from Swiftstorm. "Watch your back, mutt," She growled into his ear before disappearing among the crowd.
DAYCLAN Lilypool had allowed a quite obnoxious yawn to escape his throat as DayClan entered the gathering place. He was quite uninterested in these pesky little meetings, and found it to be a waste of his time sitting among the large group of cats. The blue point siamese tom, nonetheless, moved through the crowd, his head held high.
SPRINGCLAN Blackpaw moved among the gathering of SpringClan, closing upon their destination quickly. As he emerged through the thickness of the trees, he was met with quite the sight. This was his first gathering, ever since joining SpringClan, and he never thought he would be able to interact with the other clans like this. Despite his shy demeanor at first, he decided that tonight, he was going to make friends; or at least, attempt to. As he weaved his body through the gathering, he had noticed a small she-cat sitting close to others seemingly her age. "Hey," Blackpaw spoke up, padding up to Vixenpaw.
Larkwing followed Burningstar into the clearing, his blue eyes focused on nothing in particular. He seemed to be in his own world at this point, hardly present. He seemed distant and quiet, very unusual for this soft-hearted tom. He made hazy eye contact with Swiftstorm for a split second before looking away. He had no intention to interacting with much of anyone. Especially with Dayclan. Their problems at the Moonclan border only made it feel more awkward to be there. He took a seat a little ways from Burningstar, sweeping his tail neatly over his paws and keeping a weary look toward his leader.
Dayclan
Windchaser strode in confidently behind Glowstar, her magnificent green eyes scanning the cats who had beaten them to the gathering place. She gave Glowstar a polite dip of her head when her leader had given them the okay to mingle. She wasn't entirely sure who to even talk to. This whole situation with Moonclan made things a little more complicated. Moonclan wasn't even a clan anymore. Were they even welcome to attend a gathering?
Springclan
Smokecloud, the temporary Springclan medicine cat, made his way through the gathering cats. He didn't particularly enjoy gatherings. There were too many cats for his liking. He wondered if Fawnheart would show up with Fallclan. Eternalstar had sent her there for some teaching and he had taken her place until she returned. That is, if she ever did. He wondered what would happen if she didn't. Would he be medicine cat of Springclan permanently? His yellow eyes scanned the clearing, not really searching for anything or anyone. The moonlight outlined each burn scar on his face which he despised because he knew that every cat he would speak to tonight would be looking at them, just as they always did. He usually didn't attend gatherings and wondered why he even agreed to go in the first place. Maybe it was to see if Fawnheart would be there.
Moonclan
Silvershine stayed close by to Swiftstorm. Her blue eyes hazy with grief. Not only was her clan falling apart, but one of her daughters had recently left Moonclan. She didn't want to attend the gathering tonight but convinced herself that it would be a good idea to get out of camp for a while. She tried to hide the grief in her expression but it was nearly impossible. Not many cats could relate to her. She thought she had raised her daughter to respect the warrior code and be loyal to Moonclan, but she clearly didn't do a well enough job. At least she still had her other offspring that were more loyal to Moonclan than half the clan was.
W A T E R C L A N Another gathering. Yet again a place she didn’t wish to be, what so ever. Violetstar made her way into the area, her eyes fixed forward as she forced herself not to cringe at the scents of the other clans. The feline made her way to the area where the leaders gathered, giving a small dip of her head to the cats. Though, she said nothing. Violetstar sat, and was blank faced, staring out upon the crowd.
Quiet and unobtrusive, he kept to the edge of the clearing, his half-gaze critically dissecting each and every cat it fell upon. A quick glance, dismissive, as it moved from form to form, restlessly seeking a cat he recognized, a friend or an enemy -- anyone, any excuse to disappear into the brush or leap forward with claws unsheathed. The deputy knew he ought not start a fight during a gathering, but he was tempted, his naturally rebellious side rearing its ugly head. Chimerahunt exhaled slowly, controlling himself, and glanced away from the other cats.
"Hello! I'm Coralreef!" Bounding over to meet Windchaser, the fluffy blue she-cat cocked her head and grinned at the council member. Her plumy tail curled high in the air behind her and a welcoming purr rumbled in her throat. "I haven't been to a gathering in ages, you know? I love gatherings, but with the sickness and the moving and all that, it was hard to find time to attend. I'm sure you understand that, though! Well, maybe not, but that's okay," she mused. Her attention returned to the other cat. "Well, what about you? When was the last time you came to a gathering? How much do you love them?"
Windchaser was a little overwhelmed by all of Coralreef's questions and her high energy. She was quite friendly toward another clan cat but Windchaser wasn't the type of cat to show hostility toward another friendly cat. "Hello," she greeted in a calm voice. "My name is Windchaser. I'm from Dayclan. I was at the gathering last moon. I'm not sure I would say that I actually love them but I don't hate them either." She gave one of her paws a lick and drew it over one ear.

Summerclan
Ravenstar was calm, quiet, and patient as ever. The sleek black she-cat held her clan near the edges of the gathering place for a few moments, watching the proceedings and noting who was and wasn't there so far. Her group was relatively small as she had been careful only to choose those not plagued by the mind sickness. "No one is to talk about the mind sickness to any one. This is Summerclan's business." She was mostly worried about loose lipped apprentices but wanted to bring them along so it wouldn't seem weird to only have a patrol of warriors.
Finally, after looking over her party, she entered the gathering with her head held high and her normally warm grey eyes were cautious and guarded. She reached the other leaders with a smile that was not unkind and a warm greeting. "Good evening, I hope we find you all in excellent health," Ravenstar meowed politely.
Dayclan
Flyingcolors nodded in Glowstar's direction before glancing around for the other medicine cats. She did not see any at that exact moment and approached Smokecloud on a whim. She recongized his scent as Springclan and nodded. "Hi, is Fawnheart at this gathering? I was hoping to talk to the other medicine cats." She smiled and her tone was light and friendly. There was no reason for her to be unkind to Springclan in her eyes.
Fadingsight overheard Flyingcolors inquiring about Fawnheart nearby and his ears pricked up with interest. Was she not attending this gathering as a medicine cat? He couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed. It had been a long time since their last meeting and he missed her.
Smokecloud shook his head, "I don't think so. I can't say for sure, though. Eternalstar sent her to Fallclan to help Softpelt. They need it right now anyway. They are fighting a greencough out break. She may be held up there for a while." The smokey grey tom wasn't fond of mingling with the other clan cats but he understood her question. There were many curious glances in his direction. He smelled of herbs and Springclan and Fawnheart was known pretty well throughout the clans. Especially Dayclan which was suspicious to him but he chose not to get involved. "Sorry that I couldn't help." he apologized though his voice made it seem he could care less. In all honesty, he hardly cared at all. He was the new medicine cat now. Fawnheart may or may not come back and that didn't matter to him. Not much of anything mattered to him.
SPRINGCLAN Dexter weaved his way through the dark forest until he reached the clearing with the rest of his clan. He scanned his brother's expression. Blackpaw seemed confident, and this made Dexter smile. The young speckled tom followed his brother through the gathering. While he wasn't uncomfortable alone, he just rather stick by his kin. He sat behind his brother and watched him interact with the DayClan apprentice.
WATERCLAN Juniperpaw felt smaller than usual in the large crowd of strangers. She had lost Goldrush on the way to the gathering, thus losing her only comfort in the strange place. While she wanted to meet other cats her age, she didn't feel comfortable approaching anyone alone. Juniperpaw found Violetstar and slowly made her way over to her leader, sitting close to her proximity. She felt safe in her presence, and would rejoin Goldrush once she found him.
"Fair enough," she laughed, "they are rather loud. And so many cats just strut about glaring at everyone! Don't they know we aren't impressed by their grumpiness?" Thinking of her father, she was pretty sure he would disagree with that, he seemed to think he was intimidating and gruff and scary. She just thought he was silly. "Wait, are you impressed by grumpy-glaring cats?"
W A T E R C L A N Violetstar turned her gaze to the young and newly appointed apprentice. She flashed the smallest of smiles to her clanmate,”Do not worry. Gatherings are not as scary as they seem.” Her words were soft, a basic whisper that only Juniperpaw would be able to make out. “Do not let others know you are afraid. They use fear as a weapon. Hold your head high, and remember where you came from. We will always protect you.”
The ginger she-cat answered Coralreef with a chuckle, "definitely not". She flicked her green eyes to the waterclan cat. "Your pretty out-going to a stranger, aren't you?" she pointed out, raising a brow.

SUNCLAN This was Littlebird's first gathering since giving birth to her kits, and even now it felt strange leaving them behind. She strode into the clearing in her place in SunClans formation, her fur covered in the paint her clan was known for.
NIGHTCLAN Turbulentpaw looked nervously around the clearing, it was his first gathering... and he was NightClan's new medicine cat. He was young, but had been working very hard to try to gain the skills he needed to help his clan.
WATERCLAN Juniperpaw let out a deep sigh before giving her leader a warm smile. She raised her head and puffed out her chest. Scanning the group of strangers, she found Turbulentpaw looking out of place. Using her newfound confidence, she strolled up to the NightClan tom and introduced herself. "Hi! I'm Juniperpaw. Is this your first gathering too?"
FALLCLAN Thrushstar, albeit a bit late, strode into the gathering with pride, his Clan following close behind. Although he had never really been one for gatherings, he had never lead his clan into one. He had never spoken to any of the other leaders, and it almost made him more nervous just thinking about it. A few other leaders, Glowstar and Eternalstar, were grouped near the back of the clearing. Perhaps we'll start there. He knew he was here to make friends.
