Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"My paw feels kind of funny," Glowstar confessed to Ravenstar lifting up a bloody paw, "Ohhhh, that's why I felt a little faint. Huh." She put her paw back down thinking nothing of it.
Instead her emerald gaze glimmered like starlight upon Thrushstar's arrival. A smile as dangerous as the night rose to her lips as slow and as enchanting as a sunset, "Rumor has it that you're the new leader of FallClan," She said, her voice light and playful, almost rhythmic. As she stepped closer to him he could smell the florescent scent of apple blossoms and bluebells. Glowstar's paw pressed lightly against the side of her cheek in thought, "Then again, it was just a rumor or is it?"
Mistyveil walked up towards the SunClan deputy, but seemingly was all alone. WinterClan wasn't with her, no one was, not even a Frozen. Though she never seemed to have any regard for authority in the first place. Ever since being forced to become medicine cat she took it as a license to do whatever she wanted as payment for her selfless commitment. Her blue and turquoise gaze looked out over the crowd and then back at Littlebird, "WinterClan's been annoying me lately. I hear they were stupid and attempted to raid your clan. I don't know. I guess I shouldn't be so harsh, I can't expect stupid cats to act smart. How have you been?"
Autumngossamer strode in behind Littlebird and watched Mistyveil approach her, "Ew. Winter weirdos. I'm gonna go try and annoy Swiftstorm, I'll see you after the gathering, Littlebird."
The Janus sought Swiftstorm out rather quickly, "Hey Loserstorm, I heard you were giving the Pride some issues. They can treat you however they want, we literally guard your land and you from any outsiders. And news flash, you're basically not a clan anymore. You should be kissing our paws for letting you into this gathering. But really I just came over here to hear an apology and then I'll leave you alone."
FALLCLAN Thrushstar chuckled. “Where did you hear that? You’re not talking to strangers are you, Glowstar?” he said. He did not know any of the leaders personally, but as he thought before he approached them, he should. Alliances later could lead to more soldiers on the battlefield. “I am now the leader of FallClan. It’s taking a lot to rebuild my clan, but I have faith we will be strong to bare through it. With winter essentially over, I have such high hopes in blossoming my clan.” The orange striped tabby said confidently. He figured some leaders with more experience than him would try to manipulate him or get him to expose his clan secrets. He knew better than that. Especially with this Pride mouse-dung that’s going on.
SPRINGCLAN Eternalstar hummed as she tilted her head while listening to Thrushstar. Keeping her distaste for Glowstar hidden and tucked away expertly. None would be any the wiser. She wanted to ask how his clan was doing with the greencough outbreak, if only to assure herself Fawnheart was being helpful. It would do well for the ex-springclan medicine cat to get attached to the cats in Fallclan, it meant she would be less likely to return and continue to be a pain for Eternalstar. But she suspected that Thrushstar would perhaps want to keep the outbreak on the down low, and wouldn't appreciate her bringing it up, nor bringing up his clans lack of true experienced medicine cat. She would pull him aside and ask as they left.
DAYCLAN Glowstar snickered in response, “I do talk to strangers all the time! You know me too well already, have you been spying?”
Her eyes lit up when she smiled at him before saying, “My names Glowstar Trouble Eerie. And yours is Somethingstar Charisma Radiance, right?” She purred with a wink.
Pushing her paws forward she began to walk, her head leaning to the side in a follow-me motion as she began to head towards the other leaders she had been by, “Your new, let me give you a tour of all the pacifists, femme fatales, and emo wannabe overlord leaders. It’ll be fun I promise.”
The ginger she-cat answered Coralreef with a chuckle, "definitely not". She flicked her green eyes to the waterclan cat. "Your pretty out-going to a stranger, aren't you?" she pointed out, raising a brow.
"Not at all! I don't see a reason to be mean, do you? It's not like I'm giving away our clan secrets, like our secret prey stash or our plans to conquer EarthClan! I'm just being friendly!" Coralreef laughed. She was probably not serious about the attack and secret stash, but it was hard to tell the difference between in her grin whether or not she was being honest.
FALLCLAN Thrushstar let out a ridiculous laugh. "Sure. I'll follow." he padded beside the confident she-cat, his tail brushing hers. "Seems you're pretty well-known here." he mentioned. "I barely know anyone outside of my clan."
She let out a small breath of air, her mind pondered on the concept of never leaving home, "I think I would have been so unhappy if I never left home. Let's see... I was just a little younger than a warrior when I first left home to move into Primal Instinct. Then not a moon later did I move to WaterClan for a spy mission. After I came here until I was kidnapped by SunClan, but now I'm back in DayClan again. But. I couldn't imagine my life if I never left those tunnels," She frowned before shaking her head and the idea out of her mind.
"The black cat over there is Ravenstar. I don't know a lot about her, but she's nice and always a good choice to talk to at a gathering. Off to the side is Burningstar, she's apart of my alliance, I met her before she was a deputy and we became best friends. She's definitely a little bit of an assassin wannabe, but at heart she's really the most courageous and honorable warrior you'll ever have the great fortune of knowing if you get to know her. Eternalstar's a new leader like you, but between you and I... I got my eyes on her. But I also just really miss Peachstar, he used to be the leader before Eternalstar and... I don't know. I just really miss him," Glowstar said, wondering if Thrushstar could understand that before continuing on, "Oh! And over there is Violetstar, she's technically not too new, but she said her clan got sick and now she hates everyone cause they didn't help her even though half the clans were either enslaved or dying. So um... Maybe wait a little while to talk to her."
Of course there was one last leader at the gathering she hadn't spoken about and that was herself and Swiftstorm who held himself as someone with superiority, but lacked the suffix star that signify him as a leader.
Windchaser purred, "Okay." She didn't want the waterclan warrior to give away secrets that the other clans could use against them. Probably the exact opposite of what most of the cats were actually here for. "How is prey running...or should I say swimming, in Waterclan?" She asked, changing the subject and giving a quick look around to make sure no one was eavesdropping on their conversation.
"Ah, so I see you've spoken to Leucisticcrow. And you may know that we are doing well and have been able to provide for our clan, your clans have simply been a hindrance to our clan and that is all. So, no, you will not be receiving an apology from us." He said, looking her straight in the eyes. "Any questions?"
Sightline loses her mind. "OOOOH! Take that, birdbrain! Don't mess with my brother!" She said excitedly while walking by and sneering at Autumngossamer before running off.
Quietstep smiled sympathetically as she stood next to Silvershine. "How are you doing dear?"
NIGHTCLAN racer Brightpaw stood beside Turbulentpaw, excited at all the new faces. "Oh hi! Uh, and it's my second, but it's his first." She said. "I'm Brightpaw! We're medicine cats."
Twilightpaw followed Frozenfire and Ericanorth, being the little shadow that followed them.
FALLCLAN HollypawMoonbound Vixenpaw excitedly walked through the clan, looking at all the cats. She saw a SpringClan tom talking to a DayClan cat and headed over there. "Hi!" She greeted, her plumed tail sweeping the ground.
WATERCLAN brightleaf "You're medicine cats? I am too! I just got promoted." She gave the strangers a warm smile with bright golden eyes. "What Clans are you from?"
FALLCLAN Foxfoot strolled into the gathering with his head and tail held high. While he had been to gatherings before, this was his first as a full-fledged hunter. The sorrel tom scanned the gathering, wondering if he would see Fawnheart with her Clan. He didn't remember seeing her when they had begun the journey.
SUNCLAN Waterpaw and Risingshine looked as if they were glued together. The small gray apprentice was shaking with anxiety, so much it was making her mother shake as well. Risingshine wanted to stay calm for her daughter, but her short temper was starting to get the better of her. She rolled her green eyes and slightly pushed her daughter away. "Come on, Waterpaw. Nothing is going to happen to you. We are the strongest cats here, no one will even dare to touch you." She smiled and tried to reassure her daughter, but to no avail. Waterpaw froze like a leaf when she saw the number of cats gathered. The golden she-cat sighed and hurried along Waterpaw with her tail, taking places towards the back with their clanmates.
[ Moonbound sorry I have a horrible time on gathering threads. I am bad. ]
NIGHTCLAN Coyoteway barley paid any mind to Primrosepaw shoulder checking him, slight little thing like her. The mutt insult was rather inventive though and he filed it away for later. He continued striding over to Springclan, heading straight for Electivememory, who seemed rather out of place and kept anxiously glancing towards Eternalstar. He seemed like the perfect warrior for Coyoteway to try and sweet talk into slipping.
MOONCLAN Ruepaw darted forward towards her sister, "Primrosepaw! You shouldn't of done that what if it gets us in trouble?" She fretted as her eyes anxiously looked towards the Nightclan and Sunclan cats as if they would jump over and attack them at any point. Shifting on her paws she then glanced towards the Springclan and Dayclan apprentices chatting, wondering if she should go over and try to speak with them
Windchaser purred, "Okay." She didn't want the waterclan warrior to give away secrets that the other clans could use against them. Probably the exact opposite of what most of the cats were actually here for. "How is prey running...or should I say swimming, in Waterclan?" She asked, changing the subject and giving a quick look around to make sure no one was eavesdropping on their conversation.
"Oh, it's going great now that everyone is better," Coralreef reassured her. "Or... I think it is. I haven't been back in the clan that long, so who knows?" she whispered conspiratorially, leaning closer to the she-cat and raising her brow a few times. "I've been too busy with everything else to pay attention, but boy is it good to be home!" Like many of their clan, she had left when the sickness got too horrible, but she and her brother had been slower to return than everyone else.
"I'm glad to see Waterclan is back, though, and that all of you are doing well with the recovery" she responded, smiling at Coralreef's eye brow raises. This Waterclan she-cat was definitely something else and had a very unique personality. She liked her. Perhaps they could be friends.
"Well thank you! That is the nicest thing anyone has said to me in moons, not even my father was that nice when I came back to the clan," she laughed giddily, beaming at the DayClan cat. How kind of her to say that! Even if it was about her clan, not about her, it made Coralreef feel very warm inside. "I do hope your clan is doing well and you've got all the prey and kits to catch and take care of, that your clan is doing positively wonderful."
She frowned for a split moment at Coralreef's mention of her father not being excited to see her. She personally never met her own father but she supposed that she couldn't miss what she never had. She then nodded, "Oh yes. Now that most of the snow has melted, Dayclan is back in their original camp again. It's nice being home. Prey is coming out of hibernation and most of them are pretty plump and more kits are on the way. How about your clan?" She asked, referring to the kits since she had already asked about their prey source.
FALLCLAN Faith Thrushstar laughed. "I heard about WaterClan's misfortune." he thought of his own clan, and how Greencough had taken already enough of his members. His group was small tonight because of it. He didn't want to grant the sickness on anyone else. "You seem to know a lot. How long have you been leader?" he asked, his fluffy tail swishing back and forth as they moved.
She broke into a grin more dangerous than the night, the elegance she maintained during their walk vanishing into the air like mist, "Foxstar and I are the longest running leaders. We received our nine lives together. She's the psychological terrorist, I'm the retired assassin, as neighbors what could go wrong right?" Glowstar snickered, "Honestly though Foxstar and I have a messed up relationship, but I think everyone including herself would agree that you're better off not trusting her."
Glowstar turned on her heels to face him, the elegant mask concealing her mischievous nature once more, "So mister charisma, what kind of leader do you want to be when you grow into your role some more?"
"UH!" Autumngossamer scoffed, "You know what, yeah, I got a question. What are you going to do about it? Come next moon no one's going to remember you. Nobodies going to help you then. Cry to DayClan, beg to NightClan. No one's going to save you or your little rag tag team that calls themselves a clan. Where's your God now, Swiftstorm?"
If Vixenpaw hadn't felt someone walking up to her, she was sure she would've missed their greeting. She turned to the SpringClan tom, but before she could another she-cat joined them. This time it was a FallClan she-cat. She nearly groaned at the other two apprentices. Why were they trying to get her to be a tad bit more social than she wanted to be? "Hello."
W A T E R C L A N Violetstar could hear their chatter. Her ears twitched when the tom spoke of WaterClan. She spoke to none of the leaders. Which seemed to be her normal. Personally she didn’t much care about these pointless gatherings. She’d rather be back in her own territory. She gave no fish tails what they thought of her or her clan. As long as they were left alone.
