Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.

"I love it!" she purred. "There's so much more freedom than before. No one's always looking over your back to see if you're doing stuff right. And if your not on a patrol, you can come and go as you like."

"I think I'm enjoying it too much to even be bored," the young black she cat replied. "I was on the border patrol this morning so I can have the rest of the day to myself."
Sunpaw purred. "You got a pretty cool name too! Pantherclaw! How neat!" She was glad her friend let her fawn over her. It helped quell the unwelcome envy that prickled at her heart. She'd be a warrior when she earned it, no sooner.

Sunpaw's comment made Pantherclaw blush under her black fur. "Thanks," she purred, pleased at her name as well. She had wondered for a long time what her warrior name would be. "I bet you'll get a cool name too when your time comes," she meowed. "What name would you like? I thought for sure I'd be called Pantherfur because of my black coat but I like this name is better."

"Oooh, I like both of those names," Pantherclaw replied. "They're both good." She tipped her head to one side in thought. "I wonder how clan leaders choose names? Does StarClan tell them?" She cast a glance up to the sky.

"You're probably right," she said thoughtfully. "But I'd think it'd be awfully hard to give cats their right names. That's a huge responsibility but I guess its all part of being a leader."
Sunpaw's ear twitched, but she otherwise did not respond. Pulling herself to her paws, she yawned and stretched. The sunlight took on a deep dusky hue as evening closed in, setting the golden speckles of her midnight coat ablaze. "Maybe that's why they're made to do so, to remind them of those who are counting on them." She mused, settling down again with her forepaws tucked under her.

"I didn't think about that," Pantherclaw replied. The black she cat laid down near her friend and wrapped her tail around the left side of her body. "You know, I don't think I'd want that job," she mewed referring to clan leadership. "Even with all the extra lives. It seems like such a large responsibility." She paused then continued. "You know what I'd really like?"
Sunpaw felt a bit of heat in her ears as a certain someone popped into her head but she his it by flicking her friend playfully with her tail. "Do you have somebody in mind?" She asked.

Pantherclaw sighed. "No, not really," she replied, thinking about the toms in the clan. "I want to get to really know a cat first, not that looks don't mean anything though," she added quickly. "But I haven't been able to make too many friends with the toms yet." She thought of Sootpaw. He and she had gone on an adventure together while she was still an apprentice but nothing had come of it after they had gotten back to camp.
Sunpaw nodded. "Well, patience can go a long way. You're of a good heart, and sharp of mind. A tom is sure to see that at some point." She reassured her friend.

Sunpaw's words warmed Pantherclaw's heart. "Thank you," she mewed demurely. "What about yourself? What are your aspirations?" The black she cat shifted her position slightly to wash her shoulder.
Sunpaw felt her ears warm again, but thinking about it, a mate and kits were not her main aspiration. She turned her gaze to the setting sun, golden shards of light danced across her blue eyes. "I can't say for sure what I want to aim for specifically, but I know I want to do everything possible for SummerClan. If Jokerclaw had not found me on the edge of the territory, I would not be here now." She murmured after pausing to think.

Pantherclaw nodded her head appreciatively. "You do indeed tend to be a bright spot for SummerClan," she mused. "I'm glad you came here." She licked her paw and drew it over her right ear several times as she continued to think. "You know what? I bet that's why you were named 'Sun'."
