Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"She's pregnant, actually! I think I heard she was about to have her kits. Dunno who the father was though, she didn't actually say." Emiko answered excitedly, as if this were great info. Which, honestly, Kotori would probably be hearing about Zak's pregnancy for the first time, so it probably was.
"WHAT!?" Kotori asked, moving aside to let his daughters get through the window, "I hope that tom stuck around and plans on helping raise those kiddos or offering support like dropping off prey. She better not have gotten screwed over or it's the other guy that's in trouble," He grumbled.
"Oh no, the tom isn't in the picture, as far as I know. She seems perfectly okay with that, but you'd have to get her if you wanna grill her about it. I never did ask, but I'm also hanging out with Havi right now, so maybe I missed something. I just know he's not Regime." Emiko spilled quickly as she dropped in from the window, prancing around the area as if she owned it.
"Yeah, I bet she's perfectly okay with it, it's not like she'd ever make much of a comment, but still the guy should have lent a paw or offered or at least I hope he did," he said his mind scrambled, "Anyways, have you girls been okay, doing good?"
"Oh yeah, things ahve been stellar," Tigerlily said, not mentioning the kits she was pregnant with.
"Havi hates me because I admitted I killed his parents and siblings. Any advice for making your child not hate you anymore? I mean, Kyros really did deserve it. I raised Havi much better anyway." She shrugged, not mentioning Tigerlily's pregnancy either.
"Wait, I never heard that story fully, why was Kyros a bad fit as a father? I mean, I can imagine a few reasons, for one he was the step son of the family," He said with a snort.
"He was always so obsessed with being perfect and all. I caught him maybe kinda sorta killing someone who knew some stuff taht would ruin his reputation too. And Kyros seems pretty murdery about that, those kits didn't deserve that. Also kinda maybe cause I wanted to murder family just like you did. Debatable reasoning, really." Emiko shrugged.
"Aww," Kotori said, ruffling the top of Emiko's head, "Why could you be more like her?"
Tigerlily smirked, "Uhh, maybe because I have moms more cool and logical personality to no better than to commit a crime that would follow me around for years?"
"Someday you won't be so innocence," Kotori promised her, "But it's good that if you want to remain a casual to keep it casual, not going around on murder sprees every week so hopefully you've held back your murderous instinct just a touch, Emiko. Unless you want to be less casual in which case go at it."
"It's fine, that's why Tigerlily and I get along, we're just like you and mom." Did that make sense considering mom wasn't around and her and Tigerlily definitely did not usually hang out? Probably not, but oh well. "And I mean, I did help a cat murder someone earlier, he wanted to be cool like you, but he wasn't very good at it. Usually I'm not murdering around though."
"Actually," Tigerlily began, maybe it was just jealousy for her dads attention, but she decided to open up a bit more, "I did kill someone, Fia Cendrillion."
"NO," Kotori exclaimed.
"Yup," Tigerlily said, but could barely fake any pride. She really did feel bad about it.
"Heh, well I guess you do have a bit of our family blood after all," Kotori remarked, "Guess it's good to know you both have passion pumping through you."
Emiko grinned, seemingly basking in the fact she was like her father. So different from her supposed fear of him in her youth. "What have you been up to though? Other than leaving the Regime and not being very good at directions."
"Hey, I chose to come this way, plus check it out," He said, waving out to the dark apartment floor, "Alright, it's dark now hold on, just gotta," He began stomping around, trying to find the floor switch for the fairy lights stranded about. "It's around here somewhere..."
Emiko waited impatiently, bouncing lightly on her toes and letting out a hum as she waited for whatever he wanted to show her to happen. If he thought it was cool, it must be!
After a while of struggling Tigerlily leapt down searching the floor as well, "So what are we looking for?" She asked.
"It's a button, big and round actually, should have a light of it's own. I don't know why I can't find it," He explained, not realizing it was covered under some pillow that had fallen over, blocking out the light.
"You sure you aren't getting old and losing your touch? Can't sniff out the Regime, can't spy a button. You need to come back and get treated?" Emiko asked, obnoxiously waving a paw in front of Kotori's face as if to check if he could actually see. When she glanced around, she didn't see what he was talking about either, but she didn't say that part.
"Hey, hey, hey, I still got plenty of it, don't you worry," Kotori teased her before spying out the pillows, "uh huh, yup, it's over here," He said, clearing them out of the way and clicking the button.
When it switched on the fairy lights illuminated just a bit to show off enough of the room. It was fully furniture and more importantly warm. Most abandoned two-leg places were cold when they were uninhabited. And especially didn't have nice furniture like this.
"Sweet right? And it's all mine, no two-leg comes through here."
"OOOOOH!" Emiko cheered, batting childishly at the lights that illuminated the craze in her eyes. "How did you find a place like this anyway? It's too nice for most twoleg-free spaces."
"I don't know, but I guess I'd be lying to say it's not totally two-leg free. More like they visit twice a week, for less than an hour. They gawk at things, then leave. It's weird, I guess they just come in to admire it," Kotori supposed, "But I don't mind too much, it's completely scheduled so I know how to avoid them."
"Hmm. Weird. But not surprising for twolegs I guess." Emiko dind't understand them, but if Kotori was fine with it, then that was okay with her. "Don't get yourself caught though. Would be troublesome if we gotta get grandma Shule to break you out of the rogue-jail."
Kotori laughed, "That would be kind of insane. I'd hope they would take me to be a kittypet and it wouldn't be something life threatening like getting, put to sleep, as the kittypets call it. I mean, seriously, isn't that terrifying? You have a horrible sickness and instead of helping you they're like, hmm, can't afford that, and you get killed. Crazy. I'd say us cats don't do that, but then again my dad does have a hamster as a pet..."
"I'm sure they love their pets though, they just couldn't save them like they would have loved to," Tigerlily defended.
