Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Oh, he was married to one of our cousins at one point I think.... one of grandma Shule's nieces I think? Not related to grandpa Sean. Soooo, take that as you will." Emiko mused, pawing her ear. "Kinda hard to avoid something like that though, in the Regime."
"That is the issue with Regime blood. I don't know, if it were up to me I'd probably just take some surface dweller, haul them down here, make them work their tails off and then put their future lover as their guard, form a dependency on them and bam, relationship because they're being worked too hard to realize the ridiculousness of having romantic feelings for the person holding you prisoner," Tigerlily said with a purr.
"Worked for Glowstar and Foxstar, so I don't doubt it could work like you described." Emiko agreed, nodding as if what Tigerlily suggested was absolutely normal. "Shule would probably just appreciate there were more relationships thAt could bear kits."
"Yeah probably, hey how is life with the Regime been lately. Weren't there explosions or something? I hate to admit it, but I totally slept through it all," She said a bit bashfully, rubbing a paw to the side of her head.
"Mmmmmmmm. Havi and Shule mayyyy have unintentionally split the Regime in half. SO grandma Shule could probably use some support right now. Havi doesn't seem to want me around as much as I'd like, so I was thinking of part timing it at grandma's, and then spending the other half reminding Havi how much I care about him, and make sure he doesn't get himself into TOO much trouble." Emiko admitted, rubbing a paw on the side of her face. "Havi set up his cats back in the frozen wasteland, and Shule moved the rest right next to the League."
"Wow, you really actually care for Havilah huh? After the truth came out I sort of thought you'd get fed up with the extra effort of a dysfunctional family and drop him. Guess I'll never know that motherly love," Tigerlily remarked.
"Well you're expecting kits! So I'm sure you will soon." Emiko assured, "You never know the lengths you'll go to until the time comes. But if our side is any indication... it's a lot more than you'd think."
"Heh, maybe, although I guess that's already true since I'm giving them up to be raised by Snowthorn rather than me just so they can be raised normally. I guess that's all mom really wanted, but never got since I did meet dad despite her wishes," She said thoughtfully, "Did you ever think of mom?"
Emiko tilted her head. "Not really. I've only ever really thought about dad." It really hadn't crossed her mind much if at all, and this was truly the first time she supposed she was thinking of her mother in a long while. She didn't find she cared all that much.
"I thought about her all the time, even got to hangout with her for a while, but she just never cared to stay, done with clan life I suppose. I had been too until Kotori made me come out of hiding again to meet with Flamingstar. She was the most wondrous she leader," She breathed out a sigh of longing, "Glow's good compared to the crazy leaders around the land, but nothing compared to Flamingstar. How is Shule as a commander?"
"Depends on what you're asking for exactly. She can be really strict, but also, if you do what you need to, you get a lot of leeway with the rest of it. Definitely partial to family power, but not very fun loving. She would work herself to death if allowed, probably, and let the rest of us do the same." Emiko answered.
"Sounds a bit intense," Tigerlily said with a wavered bit of uncertainty in her voice, "But I'm sure it's because of the groups culture and all that. I wonder if I have a league cats nature like mom or more militant like dad... Not that he lives a very structured life. Actually dad invited me to meet him at his new place, but I declined. You seem to like him though so maybe we should visit."
At mention of their dad, Emiko immediately perked up. "Oh? He didn't invite me, how rude! Yeah, we should go visit!" Of course she wanted to see Kotori, she'd rejoined the Regime half for him, and now he was gone.
"Yeah, he said he couldn't find the Regime, I bet you he tried looking underground in DayClan," Tigerlily said before leading the way, furthering into the Enchanted Forest and out towards two-leg place in a rougher side of town, "I can't imagine dad surviving out here well."

"That sounds about right." She nodded sagely, not really having thought about the fact he probably wouldn't want to spend days trying to find them. Oh well, she could tell him what was going on when she saw him. "He's survived a lot of places, I think he'll be fine out here. After all, grandma Shule managed to live in twolegplace for a while, roaming around."
"Well we wanted to visit! I heard you didn't know the Regime moved!" Emiko chirped, turning her head up with a grin as she gave her father an easy wave.
"I figured they died out," Kotori teased, "More so of boredom, realizing that their only personality trait was living under a rock, that sort of a thing. Well hey, c'mon up," He said, gesturing to the fire escape at the side of the building.
Tigerlily nudged Emiko and headed up the stairway.
"No they split in half, Havi's half went back to the frozen lands, and Shule's settled next to PI now. You left at the perfect drama time, you know." She followed Tigerlily readily, skipping all the way up the stairway.
"Oh really? How's your aunt Zak holding up and um, she stayed with your grandmother right? Or did something happen and she split off? I guess she'd be furious at me for not inviting her first," Kotori admitted.
