"Yes, so I've heard too," Cutthroat agreed. "But I've also heard that being a father has it's stresses too. Not that they're all bad," he quickly added. "But some I wouldn't mind having someday."
She nodded, "I guess it wouldn't hurt to give it a try some day." She finished her portion of the rabbit. "Well, I will let you get to your nap." She turned away but then paused and looked over her shoulder. "I'm up for a late night walk later if you are" she suggested.
Celestialglow watched the sun sink below the horizon. The sky turned a dark blue and purple color, spotted with little white stars. She looked up at the darkening sky admirably. She began to understand why Nightclan and Moonclan enjoyed being out at night. It was peaceful and beautiful. Why did they sleep at night? It seemed that every other clan often miss out on such beauty. She heard pawsteps nearing her and her ear swiveled in the direction of the sound before her head turned to see Cutthroat approaching. She smiled at him, surprised that he still wanted to go on a walk with her.

"Good evening," Cutthroat purred. He was pleased Celestialglow waiting for him and still wanted to spend some time with him. "It's a nice night tonight." Indeed it was. The air was just beginning to chill from the day's sunshine. It wasn't cold like Leafbare. It was a very nice Newleaf night. The scents were stronger now that the sun had set and were more vibrant. They seemed to fill his senses. "So, where would you like to go?"

At the sound of the name, an appealing image came to Cutthroat's mind. He had been to Look Out Rock many times but he couldn't recall ever being there at night. A cat could see, well, forever from there. And with silver pelt shimmering overhead it would be a very beautiful place to see. "Excellent choice," he purred. "I can't wait to see it." And in his thoughts he added, with you.

She nodded and headed out, leading the way. It was beautiful out that night and it was even better with Cutthoat with her. It was rather warm for a new leaf night and there was a warm breeze. She figured while they were walking there, she would star up a conversation. "How was your day today?" she asked, casually, unsure of what to really talk about. She just enjoyed his company more than anything.

"Well, it started out with me coming across a clanmate who was fighting with a fox," Cutthroat meowed with a big smile. "Then I did some hunting, had a bite to eat and took a nap." He paused and glanced over at Celestialglow. "Oh yeah! There's one more thing. I met a really nice she cat too." He gave her a playful bump on her shoulder. "So I guess I could say I had a very good day today. How about you?"
She giggled at his joke. "Oh yes, my day went quite well. I literally bumped into a clanmate and created so much noise that all the prey in the forest went into hiding" She bumped him playfully in the shoulder in return. "And I met a really nice tom, too."

"Oh really?" Cutthoat asked playfully. "Anyone I might know?" He never felt this way before. Being intense was a way of life for him, especially when he was training to be a warrior. He would set a goal and all his focus was on achieving that goal. He had no time for playing but this, this felt good.
"You might. He's strong, determined, clever" she started naming off all of the things she liked about him. "Charming in his own way" she grinned. This was unusual for Celestialglow as well. She was more of a feisty she-cat. Not one to fool around and be goofy. She was mostly uptight and serious but she felt different around him. It was as if he brought out the cat within her that she didn't even knew existed. However, she enjoyed this part of her. She felt..happy?

Celestialglow's words made Cutthroat feel very good. No one had ever said these things to him before. Most cats just avoided him when they could. He wasn't known for having an attractive personality. He felt the skin beneath his facial fur grow warm. And why was his stomach feeling like he had eaten a meadow full of butterflies? Not that these were bad feelings, not at all. Cutthroat felt if he would jump into the air, he'd land on the moon. "Thanks," he mewed softly. "I think you're pretty special too. I don't know many she cats brave enough to face a fox alone like you did."
She, too, felt warm under her fur as his compliments. "Thanks. But I think I would have become fox food if it werent for you." She gave him a warm smile, realizing just then that he had risked his own life to help her.

"No thanks needed," he purred. "I'd do it all over again for you in a heartbeat." He rubbed his cheek against Celestialglow's neck fur. "But now as I look back on the incident, I think you could've taken on a whole den of foxes by the way you fight. All I can say is I'm glad your an EarthClan cat. I'd hate to have you as an opponent in a battle."
She froze as she felt him brush his cheek against her neck., suddenly feel really hot under her pelt and butterflies tickled her tummy. Then she smiled and relaxed, "your so sweet. I could never take on a whole den of foxes on my own" she purred. "But if I ever had to take on a fox again, I sure hope you are with me."

"You can count on it," he purred. "I wouldn't want to miss out fighting side by side with you." He continued to walk toward the Lookout Rock, his fur occasionally brushing against hers. The last of the sun's glow had faded into darkness leaving only the stars and a slim crescent moon for light. It was enough for him to see the path, however. "We're almost there," he said as he noticed a familiar landmark.
She grinned when he told her that he wouldn't miss out on fighting beside her. She then noticed the Lookout Rock when he said that they were almost there. After a few short moments, they arrived and she climbed on top, over looking the valley in awe. "This is breathtaking" she whispered as she swept the moonlit landscape with her green eyes.
