Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Alright, this is how it's goin' down." Cradlegrave surveyed the wide expanse of the SwiftClan camp from his perch atop the replica boat he used for announcements. There was a small area set up for refreshments off to the side of the boat, Peachblush had gathered a group of kits around himself and designiated himself as their caretaker, and most regrettably there was a big painted board with a circular hole in the middle of it. That was there so that Cradlegrave could stick his head in it and get pelted with wet mossballs. He stifled a grimace. This is gonna suck, he thought. Why did I let Swiftscout and Pastelchaos talk me into this?
"SwiftClan's been around for a year now--actually, more like a year an a half, but I digress--and we thought it would be nice to celebrate that. Also, if anyone hits me in the face with one of those things I'll hold it against you for the rest of my life. Alright party's started," he finished, and promptly jumped down from the boat so he could go stick his face in a hole and regret his life choices.
Peachblush turned to the kits that were gathered around him. "Now, there might be cats from other Clans coming today, so make sure you're all on your best behaviour!"
"Yeah, sure, whatever dad," Melonkit said, clearly not listening.
swiftclan's first anniversary was in january this year and i don't remember having a thread of them celebrating it so here we go, several months late! and even if we did do a thread celebrating it....here's another!
members from any and every clan are invited, even if they're not on good terms with each other (looking at you, day/regime and winter) but take into account each individual clan's policy on randomly travelling around the forest and going to parties. also, feel free to use this thread as a way to rack up may mayhem points!
Pastelchaos was thrilled with himself. He had been critical in the party planning, if only for the fact that he was wholy insistent that Cradlegrave offer his head to the crowd. This wasn't to say he didn't help with other things, of course. His only purpose, half the time, was event planning. It was the only activity that put his... unique skillset to work. "And we're off!" he grinned, checking one last time that everything was in place.
Frizzykit looked over to Peachblush, his eyes wide. "Other clans! I haven't seen any of those before!" he meowed with a wide smile. "Maybe we can find some new friends there!"
Fireflyfrenzy blinked, glancing at Cradlegrave. Out of all things she could have possibly seen that day, her friend willingly putting his head in a hole to get basically stoned was not on her list. It was amusing to her, though, and she couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle.
About to broach the camp was a selection of NightClan's finest, led by Aspenstar herself. She had been invited to the party on her trip to teach Larkspur how to interact with the other leaders, something that would soon be her job on her own. Gathered behind her were as many cats as that wanted to go. She had even let some of the kits accompany them, if they were old enough to get the clearing for travel from Cana. "Now," she meowed to the patrol, "remember that we are guests. I expect you all to be on your best behavior. That being said, feel free to have fun," she finished with a half smile, before waving her tail and entering the SwiftClan camp, her clan in tow.

Of course Vixenkismet was attending. Didn't matter whether she was liked or not, really. Why miss a party? The fox-furred ex-Priestess arrived with a flicker of mischief in her eyes, and any cat who knew Foxbane's past would probably have been wise to hide, well, anything of value. Her arrival tended to mean trouble, one way or other.
Aspenstar would have LOVED if Pinesimmer wasn't able to attend. Unfortunately, Phantomfox had put the tom in a state that needed care a bit too often to leave at home, and Ahava decided against staying back in NightClan. Which meant the leader's brother got, quite literally, carried along. Dumped on the sidelines so Ahava could perhaps be so lucky as to see her kits or grandkits in the crowd.
Cradlegrave stuck his head inside the hole with a grimace. "Alright, someone do their worst," he muttered. "I hate you so much, Pastelchaos."
Melonkit rolled his eyes. "Friends, schmends," he said, "forget making friends, I wanna pull some pranks! Let's show these NightClanners how we do things in SwiftClan!"
"Please don't," said Peachblush, who suspected he was fighting a losing battle against his own son.
Fawnpaw--the one that wasn't the medicine cat apprentice--padded over to the NightClanners and Vixenkismet. "Hiya!" she purred, giving them a friendly wave. "Thanks for coming! Would you like to throw a wet moss ball at our leader? No charge!"
Crystalpaw gasped. "Really? You'd let us do that? Aspenstar, why have we never done this to you before? Or better yet, Pine?"
Vixenkismet paused, whiskers twitching as she turned to the apprentice. "I'll pass." She wouldn't have, if not for the fact she happened to spot Peachblush, and turned to head over to the tom, head tilting slightly. "Long time no see. Didn't realize you'd ended up here, of all places."
Peachblush's eyes widened, then hardened as he realised who was speaking to him. "F-Foxbane?!" he hissed, moving to stand in front of Melonkit and Applekit. He knew the she-cat was still around--though he refused to call her Vixenkismet--but since he'd started living in SwiftClan he'd gradually been able to put thoughts of SpringClan and DayClan's enslavement to the back of his mind, fully focusing on rebuilding his life with his newfound children. But of course, Foxbane had a tendency to ruin everything. Including parties. "Why must you ruin every good thing in my life? Are you doing this on purpose, or does fate simply have it out for me?"
Vixenkismet couldn't exactly claim to be surprised, but at least for today she was in too good a mood to be upset or particularly regretful. So instead, she chose to amuse herself with his presence. "You mean you don't want to introduce your kits to their Aunt Foxbane. What a pity, and to think I had gifts for them." Did she know for sure they were his kits? No, but it seemed like it, and she wanted to see him squirm.
Pastelchaos heard the she-cat introduce herself as their aunt, and the tom decided that he needed to check in. "Hey, there's only room for one complete psychopath in their lives," he meowed with a suspicious gaze.
Applekit squinted at Pastelchaos, still unsure about the tom since the picnic. Her brother seemed like he trusted the orange one, though. But, then again.... Her ear twitched. "What's a Foxbane and why do you seem to hate her so much?" she asked her dad, squinting her eyes.
Foxbane had, in fact, brought a few things to this party, none of which were appropriate for children. And when she opened the pouch, that fact was all but confirmed because Peachblush wasn't stupid enough to not know what POISON was. She lifted her head slightly to glance at Pastelchaos. "Then you can have the title, I go by 'reformed' psychopath nowadays."
DAYCLAN "Dad!" A large bengal tom, very much the likeness of his late father Fuzzyheart, cleared several fox-lengths in a matter of seconds and bowled Peachblush over. He covered the smaller tom with several full-face licks before he remembered where he was and backed off, blushing slightly as he regained his composure, "G-glad to see you are in good health. You've been sorely missed in DayClan." biyuu ☆彡
Does Peachblush remember his own son's name? Stay tuned! BIYUU, NO CHEATING, IT HAS TO COME FROM YOUR HEART.
SWIFTCLAN
"She's the former High Priestess of SunClan. During her leadership, many cats were murdered in cold blood, and the Clans were rife with war and tragedy. She also has a reputation for stealing kits and abandoning her own... so you'd be wise to steer clear of her unless you want to be spirited away," Steepfall answered Applekit, his voice deadpan and serious. The black-furred polydactyl tom had been very much opposed to this open border party exactly because he knew Vixenkismet was going to show up. He didn't understand how DayClan had forgiven her so quickly for all of the terrible things she had done in the past, but he for one had not, "Why don't you go play with Jetfire's litter? I've heard they're going to host a dancing contest." @ian Honeystorm
~*~
"COME ONE! COME ALL! DANCING CONTEST OVER HERE! WINNER GETS THE TITLE OF SWIFTCLAN'S FIRST DANCING QUEEN OR KING!" Jetkit screamed at the top of his lungs, he was trying to be serious but he sounded absolutely adorable. The red-furred tom turned his head to the instigator - his older sister Fawnpaw, the medicine cat apprentice - and cocked his head, "Was that good enough, sis?"
"It was PERFECT! You did a great job, Jetkit! Now we just gonna wait for the contestants," She purred, covering her little brother in smooches, which he acted like he hated but actually liked, "You're gonna enter, right?"
"I can't dance!" He proclaimed, trying to pull away, but Fawnpaw just drug him closer with a mischievous smile. @ ANYONE
Peachblush blinked up at the bengal tom; for a second, he'd thought it was Fuzzyheart rushing across camp to greet him, only realising who it really was once he was already on the ground. "...Moltenmidnight?" he said, crossing his metaphorical fingers that he'd gotten the name right. Not that he didn't love the fact that they'd had a huge litter, but no one could deny trying to get eleven names right all the time could get a little confusing. He got back up onto all four paws and "It's so good to see you! How are the others?"
Melonkit's mouth dropped open in awe, before he hurriedly closed it. "Yeah, but...maybe I could get the present and then go play with toe others? Best of both worlds? Pleeeeeeease?"
"The title of....dancing king, you say?" Buckwheatpaw arrived at the scene of the dancing contest with a dramatic flair of his tail. "Very few felines know this about me, but I was hailed as a magnificent terpsichorean back in the days of my youth! Fellow contestants, prepare to be destroyed in a battle of dancé!"
i'm sure it has to be molten because i remember his name in the kidnapping thread and i don't remember karmacarnage being there!!! ....right?
Foxbane turned slightly to grin at Steepfall. "Hence the 'reformed' psychopath title." She agreed. "Besides, these aren't Deal's children, so I've no use for stealing them. Except maybe to see Peachblush's reaction." Humming slightly, she plucked a particular herb from her bundle, this one a paralytic. She was kind enough not to give the kit something that would actually kill him, though she highly considered it. "These might not look like much, but I recommend giving it to someone you don't like. The entire thing for a warrior, split it between two for apprentices, and you could probably divide this between three or more kits, you need less the younger they are. Especially fun if you want to play puppet and move them around like a toy." The ex-Priestess winked, shifting slightly to block either Peachblush or Steepfall from taking Melonkit's treasure. "If you don't believe me, maybe test it on another kit and see."
"Why did you say my name like it was a question?" Moltenmidnight cocked his head, sort of catching on to Peachblush's dilemma, but he chose not to pursue it any further that than that realization, "Actually, never-mind. I wish I could say that we were doing well but, after the whole Pravus Nocte thing, many of us went missing... I have no idea where Karmacarnage, Wishbone, Bubblegleam, Wildblood, Darkheaven and Volcanickiss are. I was kind of hoping I'd find some of them here with you. That's why I let---"
"So this is my grandpaw, huh?" A dark-furred apprentice put his nose right up to Peachblush's all of a sudden, it was kind of rude but he stepped back just before it became too much. The cat's eyes were the exact same color and shade as Poppymask's but otherwise he didn't strongly resemble any of his aunts and uncles.
"Icepaw!" Moltenmidnight scolded and the apprentice, who looked away and let out a whistle. The bengal Warrior sighed, "Volcanickiss had a litter of kits and this is one of hers. I wasn't going to let him come with me, but he was very persistent about meeting you." biyuu ☆彡
~*~
"Melonkit, give that here," Steepfall sighed, reaching for the herb just as soon as Vixenkismet gave it to him. He didn't know what the herb was but he was very certain that it could kill if given to the wrong cat. SwiftClan had a large number of cats with disabilities and weakened immune systems. He shot Vixenkismet a glare, "I didn't realize giving kits dangerous herbs that might not kill their target was something any reformed cat would do." Honeystorm
~*~ "Terspi... Terpi..." Jetkit tried to pronounce the new word, but it was too hard. He ended up just looking at Buckwheatpaw skeptically and asking, "What's that mean?"
"I don't know but it sounds like a super cool dance move!" Fawnpaw purred as she offered her paw to the other apprentice, "May I have this dance, kind sir?" biyuu ☆彡

SUNCLAN Lilypaw had sneaked out of the clan to come to this party. Something had drawn the young she cat here but didn't know what. Maybe it was just because the sound of a party sounded amazing and she needed some fun time right now. Plus now that she wasn't a kit she could explore more places and it's not like she was going to get caught she was too careful. No one ever noticed when she was there or left anyway except for her friend Palepaw. Part of Lilypaw just wanted to make a friend she would have outside of Sunclan. (Anyone is welcome ;3)
SWIFTCLAN Intrepidsoul decided this would be the perfect day to come clean...to come forward with what was in his thoughts. What was in his heart. He wanted to tell Shatteredshine that he had grown feeling for her and wanted to become closer. If it was something she wanted too...if she didn't want him he would undoubtedly respect that. Would live with just being her friend even if in his heart he would want more. He didn't know when he had fallen for her but had realized his love for the she cat. The tom searched in the crowed curious where that ball of energy was at. Cleaver
{DID SOMEONE SAY FOXBANE WAS HERE? OH HERE WE GOOOOO} Locketwhisper was minding his own business as he usually does hoping to have a good time at this uh party. Keeping to himself he just remained quiet listening to the conversations around him. Every cat seemed so happy, having a good time at this party but something kept making his fur prickle. Couldn't quiet figure out why. If he only knew or realized that his own grandmother was here he would have ran so very far away. He didn't like drama and never wanted to be around it. Alas drama was always right on his heels even if he ran away from it in vain. Honeystorm
PRIMAL INSTINCT Regulus somehow found himself at this party. Well more or less it was to check out and make sure things were good with no trouble possibly coming to the league. Well that and making new friends/ useful allies was always a good thing. So here the warden sat bigger than most of the other cats here...well some of them anyway. He was rather curious what would happen at this shindig. (Anyone is welcome and complacentdevil if you wanted the warden and Heavypetal to have an interesting interaction I am down for that.)

Limekit watched as another cat bowled his father over, his eyes alight with glee and delight, anything that made Peachblush happy made him happy, and what was better than a family reunion? "Youre my dads kit too?" he asked Moltenmidnight, his pelt puffed in excitement, he loved all his family, and now it was getting bigger?! "Does that mean youre my brother too!?" he continued, his voice a loud squeak. @jadie
Heavypetal had been skirting around everything, the last thing he needed as Cradlegrave's deputy was to take his place in the hole. He shuddered at the thought of getting moss lobbed at his head, as broad as it was. It just didnt seem like all that fun of a time. He spotted someone familiar though, his brows furrowing in a confused look as he tried to remember, but it clicked fairly quickly. He made his way over to the warden of their neighbor, dipping his head in greeting, "Glad to see you make it, I guess this is a beach party of sorts, not quite the one I was expecting, but..." he huffed, trailing off with a small smile on his face. ashestoashes

Regulus noticed the deputy of Swiftclan walking up to him, trying to remember what this cat's name was. Heavystone? Heavypebble? Ah no it was Heavypetal. Right. The warden gave a nod of respect with a small smile on his face but truth be told it wasn't genuine. That didn't mean however he wasn't interested in hearing what this tom had to say or what Heavypetal was like. After all this guy could one day become leader of Swiftclan...and it wouldn't hurt becoming possible friends so Swiftclan could be a useful ally if needed like Renegade Regime to Dayclan...this had potential. Regulus was quiet for a moment, "I agree but that doesn't necessarily mean it hasn't been boring either. I'm curious to see how everyone is going to interact with all of the clans and potential other groups come by. Should liven things up around here." The tom cocked his head to the side slightly adding, "But what do you think? What is your personal opinion about all of this going on?" Wouldn't be a bad idea to see the mind of Heavypetal and how he thought exactly. It would speak volumes to the warden. complacentdevil

Moltenmidnight's eyes went wide with shock as Limekit proclaimed himself Peachblush's son and, for just a second, he felt sort of... betrayed. Could anyone blame him? When Fuzzyheart died, Peachblush disappeared... only to run off and start a new family. He already had a family in DayClan. He... was he trying to forget them? Moltenmidnight's eyes narrowed and he lifted one paw, his instincts telling him it was time to leave.
"I--- Yes, I am your brother," Moltendmidnight replied hesitantly, lowering his head to the kit and touching noses with him. He was still tense but he couldn't hold it against the little one who didn't know any better. He tried his best to relax, "I am Moltenmidnight and this here is Icepaw, your nephew."
"Yo," Icepaw said, putting out a paw to shake with the kit... not that the kit would understand. ashestoashesbiyuu ☆彡

If no one else was going to offer to pelt Cradlegrave in the face, then it was up to Dandelionpaw to be the one to throw the first stone. Or mossball really. Everyone seemed too entranced with these newcomers, with the kind of topics that went over her head. And she didn't feel like paying attention as she swooped down in front of the kits, grabbing a sopping wet mossball from the side and yeeting it right at Cradlegrave's face. His warning earlier had fallen on deaf ears. biyuu ☆彡
"Looks like the party is swinging pretty well." Venti muttered to himself. Funk was normally not one to miss a party, but he said he had something urgent come up and told Regulus and Venti to go and check it out in his stead. It wasn't odd for the Nemesis to keep his secrets, but it did make Venti wonder just what could have come up that could have kept him from this party. Still, it was nice, if a bit overwhelming. Oh well, he would do what he always did. Or he thought until he accidentally bumped into someone. "Oh, I'm so sorry." (anyone can interact)
Peachblush was experiencing a very confusing and contradictory set of emotions. On the one paw, he was delighted to meet his grandson, the feeling even overriding the distaste that Foxbane's appearance had left. On the other paw, Moltenmidnight had seemed unsettled just for a moment upon learning the true nature of his relationship with Limekit and Melonkit. He took a second to step back mentally, think about what he was doing. So many people he'd left behind, so many people he'd never get to meet until events like these happened. Could he even go back, face his family after all that happened? He wasn't sure.
Another voice joined the fray. "And here I thought we'd never have a cute family reunion like this ever again," Bubblegleam said drily, coming up behind Moltenmidnight. The former DayClan warrior nudged him in the shoulder with a mixture of sibling affection and sibling aggression. "Hey, bro. Long time no see." Jadiecomplacentdevil @ian
Cradlegrave grunted in pain as the moss ball hit him directly in the face, squishing his nose painfully. "TARNATION," he groaned, pulling his face out of the hole for a second to glare at the apprentice. "Dandelionpaw! Did you even hear what I said?!" strawberrycupid
Over at the dance party, Buckwheatpaw took Fawnpaw's paw with a graceful bow--or at least, the best bow he could do when he was a mammal that walked on four legs and didn't really bend at the waist all that well. "You'll make a fine leading lady, my fawnless flaw! I mean, my flawless fawn!" he said, and suddenly took a hold of her neck and lunged toward the ground in a dramatic flourish. Jadie
