Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
The long awaited, much anticipated arrival of Dancingdragon's kits had finally come, and over the last few weeks since the birth of her six greedy bundles of annoyance joy, she had the whole clan wrapped around her paw, doting on her every whim. If there was one perk to motherhood, it was that. Lately though, suspiciously around the time her kits grew less cute and fuzzy and more rambunctious, the clan started to avoid her den at all costs.
"Softkit, stop waterboarding your sister," she growled. She couldn't take her eyes off them for one minute without one trying to murder the other, or so it seemed, and that was becoming an increasingly difficult task as more and more they all started to get into trouble. Case in point: Sourkit and Sweetkit with dried honey sticking their pelts together, which she was trying to separate when the other two decided to get involved with torture.
Sharpkit gasped as she pulled her head out of the puddle, her little sides heaving, but she grinned. "That's a new record on how long I can stay under!"
"Where in the hell is your father?" Dancingdragon lamented, determined to give Goldengriffon an earful once he arrived to take over bad cop duty.

"See, I told you." Softkit said as she lifted her paw from Sharpkit's head. The ginger kitten quickly flicked the water from her paw, giving it a distasteful look before she grinned impishly at her sister. "I bet you could hold it for even longer though- but mom!" Softkit whined as soon as she heard Dancingdragon's command.
"Mom, it's not waterboarding! Sharpkit said I could do it!" The tabby explained fluffing out her chest. "Besides, we're trying to see how long a cat can hold their breath under water before they pass out or get dizzy! What happens if someone attacks! They can't attack us if their head is halfway underwater, it's very sound logic."
Unfortunately for Goldengriffon, it was around his daughter's... interesting explanation that he finally appeared. "...Oh dear.." He said with a shake of his head. "You are definitely you're mother's daughter."
"Oh, very sound logic indeed," her mother allowed begrudgingly, putting forth her best effort to not growl the response. "Well, you can't drown your enemies if you drown each other first, so practice on live prey like normal kits. Or your father." Dancingdragon looked pointedly at Goldengriffon.
Sharpkit released a delighted squeal as her father dipped into the den, rushing up to twine herself through his legs. "We can practice on you, Dad? Really?"

"Well, I wouldn't suggest trying to drown me, darling. Your mother might want first dibs on that." Goldengriffon purred, licking the top of his daughter's head.
"Just between us, I think that she's a bit angry that I took too long with assigning patrols." The pale tabby whispered, giving Sharpkit a small wink before he carefully made his way into the nursery. "Which, I am sorry about, dear." The deputy purred as he rubbed his cheek against Dancingdragon's before he settled down next to her.
"Change of plans, Sharpkit." Softkit mewed as she pulled her sister closer. "We'll have to improvise it seems..."
"Well it's your turn to unstick these two," grumbled his mate, pushing the tangled kittens towards him. Out of the corner of her eye, she was sure she could see the other two up to no good, but considering they weren't focusing on her anymore, Dancingdragon let that slide. ""So what's the hot goss on the patrols? I think ol' Jetty is either stupid or deaf, because she never answers anymore when I ask." Not considering the fact that the leader was getting as little sleep as she was now that the hoard had taken over Jetstar's den so it was more likely that she was falling asleep before being able to reply. "Some people's children, right?" She snorted.
Sharpkit purred as she hugged against her sister, rubbing her head against Softkit's cheek. "Improvise how, honey?" She asked too loudly, earning a glance of their mother's glare.
