Grasshine cast her eyes around the camp. The prey pile was only half full of fresh prey. There where branches and twigs everywhere, though some had been picked up, it still looked there was half left on the camp ground. The white feline let out a sigh and made her way to the fresh-kill pile. Before she could take a few steps, she stepped on a thorny branch. "Mousedung!" She snapped in pain, a small growl escaped her mouth. She licked her paw and began to pick up the rest of the sticks, limping to the camp entrance, with the sticks in a leaf wrap, under her chin. Her paw was bleeding but she continued to ignore the pain it was giving her and she continued to gather the sticks and taking them out of camp.
Finally she had the sticks and thorns out of the camp and could rest, by now it was midday. Her paw had stopped bleeding, but it still throbbed , since the thorn hadn't been removed yet. She licked her paw, which sent pain signals up to her brain. She let out a soft hiss, and made her way towards the medicine cat den, to get some medical attention. Grassshine flattened her ears as she finally realized that her white fur on her paws was red, something she hated more then someone disobeying the Warrior Code. The green eyed beauty poked her head into the medicine den. "Anyone in here? " She called in a soft whisper, in case a cat was asleep that happened to be in the den getting fixed up.
"She's not here" came a low voice from the back of the den. An average sized brown tom with piercing sky blue eyes and a very noticeable scar on his nose stepped toward her. Though the tom may seem slightly intimidating, his piercing sky blue eyes held a surprising amount of warmth and friendliness within them. "She must be out collecting herbs or whatever medicine cats do" there was a hint of amusement in his tone.

The white she-cat nodded her head "Ok. All I need is some marigold poultice for my paw. I stepped on a thorn while I was on the way to the fresh-kill pile. I cleaned up the mess though. but the paw is pretty sore." She replied with a sigh.

Grassshine smiled slightly "Yeah I would have to agree. But an upset tummy is almost equal to it. I think poppy seeds would help with the tummy."

"I think should take three. To safe" Grassshine replied as she lifted her paw and gave it a lick.

She commented as she looked at the other herbs that were in piles along the wall of the den.
Brakenhawk sniffed some of the herbs. They smelled bitter and he screwed up his nose in disgust. "Have you ever considered being a medicine cat?" He asked, curiously. He noted how well she knew herbs.
