Batman would adopt one of these cats, so you should too! This title is irrelevant otherwise... Anyway, LKR has a drastically low population. I'm sure Animal Control is happy about it, but I can't sleep at night thinking about how empty the streets are. Where are the cats? Oh my. Anyways, I made these to encourage users who don't have time to write up their own bios to take one (or more) of these sweet kitties and help the LKR population grow! You can change names and bios however you like. I'm not sure where I was going with some of them anyways. Appearances are up to the user! ❤
Kittypets: Clementine ♀ // RPED BY __________
Usually sweet, but sour in large doses, Clementine is a cat you either love or you hate. There is no in between. To those that know her well, she’s fiercely loyal and compassionate, but those that don’t need to walk a fine line around her. Quick to snap or lash out, even rogues tend to keep their distance. Odd as it is, she’s a small ball of fury... literally. On a limited diet due to allergies, Clementine has a thin and small body, but she’s perfectly healthy otherwise. It also works wonders for her speed and agility, not that she needs skills like those for her occasional strolls outside.
Valkyrie ♀ // RPED BY __________
Although a kittypet through and through, Valkyrie hardly spends her time at home. As much as her owners love her, the outside world is way more her style. She loves to hunt for sport, and bring back animal carcasses to her owners, sharpen her claws on rogue flanks, and prowl the city at her leisure. If not for her studded collar, she’d be easily mistaken for a stray by humans and cats alike, and she loves every second of it. She’s a lean, mean, fighting machine and she makes darn sure everyone knows it. Despite her love for the outdoors, Valkyrie has never thought about permanently leaving her twolegs, or at least never seriously. She may show her love through spitting, clawing, and slowly knocking over objects off surfaces, but its love all the same and she wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Salem ♂ // RPED BY IAN
Salem is a cat no one can forget. Or rather, his smell is. Any time he comes around, he smells like he crawled straight out of a cauldron of essential oils and herbs, but he’s oblivious to it all. It’s just the norm in his household. Scent aside, Salem is an easy tom to get along with. He’s always willing to share stories and open up about himself, and he loves to learn more about others too. He’s also eager to show off his cool crystal collection and whenever he ventures outside, he’s on the hunt for more shiny rocks and gems.
Pepper ♂ // RPED BY __________
Waking up early for a jog around the block, sharing a meal with his neighbors around noon, and coming back for a peaceful evening with his owners--there’s nothing else like it. It’s a routine he’s well and truly grown into and one that keeps his mind preoccupied and content. Not even the chaos of the city could rile him up. He’s far too easy going for any of that, though he does like to stay in the loop and support the neighborhood. His effortless compassion has some cats convinced he has an ulterior motive, but Pepper’s really just a good guy. He never has to stand up for himself though, with she-cats jumping up and down to protect his honor. It’s really sweet how they dote on him like that, even if he doesn’t understand why--something about him being a silver fox, but he’s not good with all the lingo. If there was one “rebellious” thing Pepper could do, it would be to start a family. He’s not too sure if his two-legs would appreciate having kits around, but he’d really like to be a father.
Loners or Rogues:Mercutio ♂ // RPED BY __________
Think of a class clown that picks fights with pigeons and throws out a random Italian word here and there. Now think of a cat. Mix 'em together and there’s Mercutio. Is he Italian? Is he not? We’ll never know, but he has all those pigeons convinced. Now, why couldn’t he convince she-cats too? “It’s a love language! Hello?” They never seem to buy it, but all he wants is to find the Lady to his Tramp and share a spaghetti noodle in a romantic back-alley that hopefully doesn’t belong to another rogue gang. When will the right meatball wander into his life?
Waffle ♂ // RPED BY __________
His name is one whispered in fear. His shadow committed to every cat’s memory. And his face, the fuel of nightmares. A long time ago, Waffle belonged to one of the strongest gangs in the city--the Crêpes. He used to be the muscle in the group, the one to bust open skulls and tear their rivals to shreds. He was a force to be reckoned with, but now, the Crêpes are no more and he’s never been the same since. Always on catnip and lazy with denial, Waffle misses the days where he was powerful. Hardly anyone even recognizes him anymore and those that do think he’s a joke. And maybe he is. But maybe one day, he’ll jump back into the game and reclaim his place in the world.
Twitch ♂ // RPED BY BIYUU
Neurotic and obsessed with technology, it may seem odd for someone like Twitch to call the sewers his home. His fur is always unkempt and a layer of grime has built onto him to the point that he resembles a rat more than a cat, which is fine. It makes it much easier to hunt them when they think he’s one of their kind. The choice of habitat however, is actually quite logical when one thinks about it. Stationed directly beneath a bank, Twitch has been doing surveillance on the two-leg building for years and planning the perfect heist. It’ll take a team when he’s ready, and it’s been a while since he’s spoken to anything but feces, but he’s sure it will all work out in the end. The hardest part will be convincing other cats that stealing money is worth anyone’s time. Especially considering that he’s only doing it for the sake of besting the human race!
Sable ♀ // RPED BY __________
Haunted by her past, Sable has reached the depressing conclusion that all she’s ever done in life has been wrong. Every move, every choice, every word has cost her and her loved ones dearly and now, she has nothing left. Torn between giving up and trying to redeem herself, Sable’s settled on one final chance to make up for all she’s done. Before it’s too late, she’ll do one thing right or she’ll die trying.
Wisteria ♀ // RPED BY __________
There’s no easy way to say it, Wisteria’s a grave robber. Digging up two-leg graves isn’t a one cat job though--she’s tried--so she usually sticks to animal ones. Whether the corpses are buried in backyards or left to rot in a dumpster, she’ll find them and loot something no matter what. Even if it’s just a loose tooth. She’s not really sure why she does this, but it’s always been a hobby of hers ever since she was born. It’s actually weird that no one else does it. Whenever she’s not chilling out in a cemetery, Wisteria can also be found stalking other cats like a vulture, waiting to see if they’ll drop dead or sometimes just because she’s curious to see how “normal” cats behave.
Rosé ♀ // RPED BY DOT
Exotic and enchanting, Rosé can win a cat’s heart just by stepping into a room--a talent she’s learned to perfect and harness through the years. She’s hardly ever had to lift a paw to do anything in life. There’s always a tom willing to hunt
for her, and she’ll eat up their infatuation until there’s nothing left to gain from them. Flings aren’t really her thing. She just toys with one cat until they want too much from her and then it’s off to the next. Without them, there’s not much she could do. Many times she’s considered joining a gang for protection or a two-leg nest for security, but so much freedom is exhilarating. Maybe when she’s ready to settle down things will change. However, she’s spent so much time pretending to be the perfect she-cat to her temporary companions, that she’s not sure who she really is. It’s a sad fact, but she doesn’t have much of a personality and she’s scared that someone might reject her for it.
