Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
are these fun adopts or way too specific and unbalanced who knows maybe i’ll adopt them all myself, you’ll see, you’ll all see
Parents: Raccoontree ♂ & Rabbithole ♀ (NPCs, left the clan) Their parents were deeply in love with each other but negligent toward their kits; they didn’t have the patience to raise them and as soon as the kittens were weaned, they moved on, leaving the clan in search of new adventures. Fishcrow was raised by his paternal grandmother, Furzefreckle, who passed away when he was an apprentice. Fishcrow carries on her legacy by raising his little siblings.
Seawatch is not related to the others.
Feel free to change everything about these kids - names, photos, personalities, whatever ya want.
FISHCROW
SAILKIT
KITEKIT
SWIFTKIT
SEAWATCH
Fishcrow was extremely close to his grandmother and still grieves her loss. He does his best to juggle being a new warrior with raising his siblings, but it’s difficult work, and his social life struggles as a result. He has friends but can’t stay in touch. His strongest relationship outside his family is with Seawatch — for him it was truly love at first sight, but Seawatch is unpredictable and Fishcrow knows in his heart it isn’t healthy for them to be close. He struggles with his desire for Seawatch versus his rational decision to avoid dating him, even if Fishcrow can’t control his feelings for the other tom. Fishcrow is naturally intelligent and might be a skilled warrior, but between his duties and his exhaustion, he never has the time to practice and struggles as a result. Scared of water. Fish has no good suffixes so now he's a cool bird, sorry.
Charming, affectionate, and not afraid of his feelings; Sailkit will tell everyone how he feels about them and doesn’t hold grudges if they don’t reciprocate. Really, the only time he holds back is when he’s embarrassed or ashamed of how he feels, and that’s usually when he’s feeling guilty. Sailkit has a tendency to steal from others - little things, mostly; the soft moss they gathered for their nest, or the prey they buried while on patrol. He can’t help it, and he pretends he wasn’t the thief, but it’s hard to hide so many coincidences. He isn’t proud of it but he doesn’t know what else to do.
Kitekit never really liked the truth; it was always unfair when other cats pitied her and taunted her with the failure of her parents. She didn’t like telling the truth either, it was always stupid and got her into trouble. What started off as a series of little lies has escalated until it is all Kitekit knows. Everyone knows she’s prone to lying about everything and everyone but it’s difficult to tell when she’s being honest, and that’s tricky. She’s a good friend, dedicated and willing to kill any tom that so much as looks at her friends strangely, and she’s an excellent tracker. But she’s a firecracker and nobody can trust one word out of her lips.
When her parents left the clan, she followed. They were attacked by a fox and she hid away in the branches to survive. She doesn’t know what happened to her family, though she thinks they both survived; she crawled back home alone and survived with mild scarring. She’s adaptable and confident and not afraid to remind everyone she’s incredible. Swiftkit succeeds where Fishcrow failed, she'll be an excellent hunter when she's older and a keen tracker, and through hard work, a decent swimmer. But she's also fiercely independent to the point she is haughty, always reminding others that she doesn't need them or the clan, and it makes her intensely lonely. She often rejects Fishcrow's help despite the pain she sees it causes him, and is intensely jealous of Sailkit. Of all the kits, she's closes to Seawatch and admires him.
Everything in his life is the product of his own hard work and ingenuity - a lesson he will never forget. Seawatch came from nothing, a rogue, and fought hard to become an apprentice, and a skilled one at that. He has little innate physical ability and had to work twice as hard as the others to keep up. Now he’s a warrior and prone to taking risks to prove his worth. He will go out in a blizzard or dive to the bottom of the river to help another cat, start conflict over prey that barely crossed the border, and if anyone tries to stop him, he will tear them down to nothing. Seawatch lacks empathy for others; he can pity them for their plights but honestly they rarely compare to his own. He can’t relate, even when they’re in a similar place to him, so sometimes he’s overly harsh and cold and doesn’t regret it. Difficult to become close to, not one to rant to, but will return your investment tenfold. Awkward around Fishcrow's kits but they see him as the cool uncle.
