Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Ahava Vairocana had nowhere to be. As such, the medicine cat was mostly wandering. Well, it wasn't really aimless, despite it's appearance. She seemed to be tracking something. By the scent of it, it had to have come from the city? But whatever it was reeked like a monster. Of course, there were no monster tracks anywhere, so where could it have come from? The void eyed healer seemed intent on finding out.
"You look like you're on the trail of something," came the voice behind her. There was something about the intensity of the cat's tracking that made Aspenstar unnerved, but her own sense of smell had been disrupted since her cat equivalent of a septum was dislodged in her last fight. The medicine cat was one of the few that made it into the ranks of her inner circle, although she wasn't as close as say Larkspur or Phantomfox, which meant that when Cana looked concerned, Aspenstar knew to listen. "Mind if I join you?"
Ahava paused in her trek at the sound of Aspenstar's voice, head turning slowly towards the leader. It was a rather easy trail to follow, after all, it reeked. "Can't you smell it?" She asked with that eerie calm curiosity. "Of course you can join, though."
"Yeah, about that. Had a rough night with a rogue the other day. Figured I was fine enough that I didn't have to tell you, but the whole sense of smell thing has been a little off." She shrugged slightly with a sheepish blink of her mismatched gaze. "It'll come back eventually, right?" She let out an uneasy laugh, before glancing at the trail ahead. "Fill me in on what we're tracking?"

"I'll take a look at it when we get back. If you can't smell this, that's not a good sign." Ahava sighed, rolling her eyes up towards the sky. "Not sure what we're tracking, but it smells horrid, like the fumes of a monster. But no signs of twolegs or their monsters to be found. So, who knows."
"You love me," she meowed at the cat's rolling of her eyes, although she was truthfully not sure. Aspenstar was probably the biggest pain in the tail in the whole clan, given her particular penchant for moderate to severe injury. She then nodded twice, considering the account Cana provided. "There haven't been any tracks at all?" she meowed, her eyes narrowed. "Interesting. If there are no ground tracks, do we think there could be tracks in the trees? Aerial signs?"

"The ground's too hard, or the creature too light, one of the two." Ahava answered, "Though I wouldn't say there's no tracks." She motioned Aspenstar close, tugging at a young leaf, with a thin sheen of something that shimmered faintly in rainbow, and smelled absolutely horrid. "Whatever this is, it's leaving it behind. Given the stench, I'd wager whatever it is had a run in with some twoleg monster or something."
Aspenstar nodded at her words, before peering closer at the liquid. "I've seen this before," she meowed, resisting the temptation to touch it. "From what I remember, they're from smaller monsters, you're right." It had been a long time since she had followed her mentor on a recon trip, so the details were still a little fuzzy. "We will have to make sure that the residue gets cleaned up as soon as possible. If I am remembering correctly, it sticks to fur and makes it very slick." It was then that a distant roar could be heard, causing the leader to stop immediately. "Cana?" she asked, although she was quite near positive the other could hear it.
