Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. While his brother's leap had been quick, the landing was noisy enough that he was able to keep his bearings. He leaped out of the way, leaving only bare ground in front off Sharpkit. He whirled and charged after him, hoping to catch him off balance.

As his brother collided with him, Sharpkit yowled, not really out of surprise, but definitely out of frustration. He had timed his jump so good too! He fell over onto his side, and curled in, scrabbling to get up he tucked his paws beneath him and thrust his back up, arching it without making a whole lot of progress on actually standing.
Freezingkit, not being exactly small for his age either took the hit about as well as possible, considering he'd been caught unprepared. He gave his brother a playful nip behind the ear, so very relieved he hadn't hurt him. Cypressbluff would have had his tail!

"Ouch!" the little tom yelped, knitting his brows together in what was almost anger, "Why'd you bite me, Freezingkit?" he pouted, sliding away from his brother. In all reality he wasnt mad, but more surprised.
"Because you scared the life out of me, mousebrain!" he mewed seriously. "We're kin, after all." His brother was the one he was closest to from their litter, after all.

"Oh, well sorry," he mewed, feeling small all of a sudden. "Hey Freezingkit?" he asked, getting up to his paws with a shake of his pelt, an almost sad look on his face, "Do you think we'll get to be warriors like the other kits?"
Freezingkit looked at his brother for a moment, then pressed up against him. "I don't know Sharpkit... I hope so." His voice was quiet, and gentler than any had heard it.

Sharpkit laid his chin upon the top of his brothers head, pausing for a second. He thought for a bit, "You wanna see what the thanes are doing?" he asked, shuffling his paws.
