Freezingkit leaped and pounced in front of the nursery, trying to imitate moves he'd seen the novices practicing. Every time he'd put so much as a paw wrong, Freezingkit would hiss crossly at himself and try again, tiny claws digging into the fresh snow. He seemed to have the general gist of the moves down, but his movements were uncoordinated and shaky. His motor skills needed time to catch up to his ambition it seemed.

Sharpkit watched his bother try to imitate the warriors when they fought, or hunted, he wasn't quite sure, but he knew Freezingkit was doing something the warriors would be doing. He rose out of his nest a small shiver taking over him as he stepped out towards where his brother was. He didn't approach though, just watched. The other kit looked like he needed some quiet to focus anyways, and Sharpkit was not one to interrupt. Sweetpine had taught him that.
Freezingkit's silvery green eyes, more serious than any kit's had a right to be, narrowed at his most recent failure. He'd caught his tail lashing in his hunting crouch..... again! He couldn't understand why it kept happening. Freezingkit's eyes caught those of his brother's. "If my tail so much as flicks when I'm doing my crouch, bite it!" He growled at Sharpkit, before continuing his practice.

A wide smile cracked across the tomkits mouth, toothy and full of humour. His brother had to be kidding. He didnt see why a lashing tail would cause an issue while hunting. For him, he thought it helped him balance. He liked to wiggle. He got up, nearing his brother and sat back up on his back legs, gripping onto Freezingkit's tail with his forepaws. "I've got you covered." He mewed.
With a pleased nod, Freezingkit returned to his form. As he made his paw positioning corrections, he managed to keep his tail still, but it started to flick just as he was choosing a point to stalk towards.

His brothers' tail tip in his paws, Sharpkit fought to keep it still, smooshing it between his paw pads. He giggled a little, finding the whole ordeal silly. He himself looked around, spying a ball of moss that had escaped the confines of the nursery, similar to the two of them. "There!" he mewled, nodding towards it, "Get that thing!"
Startled by the sudden instruction, Freezingkit leaped at the mossball, but pushed off too hard. Instead of a well controlled pounce, he ended up tumbling tail over muzzle past the mossball into a snow pile.

Sharpkit blinked, his own tail bristling a bit as his brother jumped out of his grasp. He settled back down on his own feet and hopped quickly over to him, tipping his head as he pushed a paw in to the snow pile to dig his brother out. "You okay?" he mewed, ears folding back against his skull.

Sharpkit jumped into action at the lack of response, digging at the snow surrounding the haunches of his brother. "I'm gonna get you out!" He promised, scooping out large clumps of snow with his little paws.

"You mostly did it yourself," chuckled the speckled kit, rolling back onto his hind paws again, "Im just glad youre okay, Mum would have killed us if you died..." He mewed quietly, eyes searching about in case their adoptive mother happened to be about, but didn't find a trade of her. He breathed a sigh of relief, a shiver running up his spine as his heart calmed.

With the word battle, Sharpkit perked up, ears high with excitement. It was his forte. "Sure do," he mewed loudly, something proud coming over him. His brother being his new target.

The grey kit didnt bother to wait for an opening. He wasn't large, but he was defined, even as young as he was. A snarl in his throat he charged his brother, not stretching out his paws, but just intending to collide. He had learned quickly that his force was more useful than any sort of agile movement he could make. Mostly because he didnt have the patience to learn any soft motions.
Taken by surprise, Freezingkit tumbled backward. Trying to regain the upper paw, he pummeled his brother's belly with his rear paws, careful to keep his claws sheathed.

Sharpkit winced a little at the sudden kicks against his belly. He jumped off him, fur bristling like an angry porcupine. He wasn't really hurt, and he had quite the bit of extra weight to sink the hits in, but he lowered to the ground in an imperfect crouch, not bothering to learn it quite as much as his brother did.
Freezingkit lowered himself into a crouch and continued looking for an opening. If his brother jumped on him again, he'd be ready. His positioning was clumsy, Freezingkit noted. As he wasn't exactly a small kit himself, he could probably push him over. He'd have to figure out a way to avoid getting his belly pummeled though. He circled Sharpkit cautiously, pale green eyes sizing up the situation.

The fluffy tom dashed, low to the ground as if he was a snake. As he neared his brother about a tails-length away he jumped, leaping over his bother to the other side, landing squat on his back feet, front paws in the air as if striking. He thudded them to the ground, eyes narrowed as again he lept at his brother, throwing himself at him from the opposite side he started on, hoping that the change would confuse him.
