Scarletblush hadn't heard much news about Jetfire since the fire, when she helped to rescue her. She knew that her friend was in SwiftClan but finding swiftclan was a harder task than she once thought. They constantly moved, and finding them was like finding a pine needle in a fresh kill pile. She had been walking most of the day, as she took a break under the shade of a tree. She could hear the waves of the water lapping at the shore in the distance. She groomed her pelt until it was once more shining, the long waves of white and ginger rolling over her small frame in waves. pLuto
Asher couldn't help but grumble as he walked down the paw-beaten path along the border. Being sent out to check the border markers alone seemed like a terrible idea, no matter if Summer isn't in a conflict with any of the neighboring clans. All it takes is one cat to start something. Although he wasn't worried if it came to one-versus-one situation. As he approached another marker, something caught his attention - a scent he didn't recognize. Rather, he recognized it but what were they doing out this far? Following the scent led him to a large tree with a cat grooming themselves underneath. He cautiously approach.
"Who are you?" he questioned as he neared, keeping an eye on his surroundings in case this was a trap of some sort.

Scarletblush looked up from her grooming with wide eyes, as suddenly a voice reached to her ears. She scrambled to her paws, sitting up straight like a proper lady though her cheeks were felt flushed from embarrassment. She tried to pull herself together, looking up shyly from under her downcast eye as the tom "My name is Scarletblush" she introduced herself, clearing her throat while she tried to pull herself together. It had been so peaceful out here that she hadn't expected to run into any other cats "I apologize for intruding. I'm looking for SwiftClan to visit with a friend of mine, but it seems that they have moved once again" By now the clan could be any where, and she had already spent the whole morning searching near the area that they were last seen in.
Asher looked at here quizzically, tilting his head. Scarletblush...Scarletblush..., he thought, trying to see if he could recall the name from somewhere. And SwiftClan? I've never heard of that before. Hmm...." Judging by her reaction and fluster, she wasn't there with ill intent so he relaxed a little, but he was curious. "I guess since you're just passing through, I'll let it slide. But I have no idea who or where they are," he said with a shrug. "Wish I could help you, honestly."

"That is a shame" she agreed, half hoping that he would have been able to give her some sort of clue as to where the mysterious clan had gone "But not unexpected. SwiftClan moves constantly, which makes it rather difficult to find them. Since you don't know about them, its a pretty good clue that I am looking in the wrong place" she shook out her fur "Its seems that I came all this way for not" she rose to her paws, dipping her head respectfully to Asher "I guess I will be on my way" she turned to pad away, taking a few steps
Asher nodded once in acknowledgement and watched her leave. Well that was a rather simple exchange. Luckily nothing bad happened., he thought as he turned to leave. But then a thought hit him - how will she know where she's going from here? He turned back around just in time to see her collapse. For a moment, he paused, confused as to what happened. She seemed fine just a second ago. He shook his head quickly and went to her side to see what was wrong. "Are you alright?" he asked as he looked for any signs of injury.

It took a moment for Scarletblush to recognize what happened, as the ground rushed up to meet her. Her paw had slipped into a small hole causing her, to fall flat on her face. She let out a surprised girly squeak, staying down on the ground as Asher raced to her side. The pain was bad, but the embarrassment was much worse, having completely missed the old snake hole hidden in the grass “Goodness Gracious” she pulled her paw out of the hole wincing
She couldn’t even meet Asher’s eyes “Didn’t mean to scare you... I got my paw caught is all” she placed it on the ground only to Yelp and lift it back into the air. It wasn’t broken, but at the very least sprained
Asher let out a breath of relief. He wasn't sure what he would do if the incident had been more severe. He could have taken her back to camp but how would he explain her appearance given how far away her clan was. He didn't doubt at least one cat knew who or what SwiftClan was but he hadn't heard any of his clanmates talk about it at all. He let out a nervous chuckle. "Oh, well that's go-" he started to say as he went to help her up but got caught by surprise by the sudden yelp. "You must have sprained it, eh?" he thought out loud, looking down at the raised paw.

(Oh fully intentional. Told you she is a little lady)
Scarletblush could feel her face pale, feeling feint after the injury. It wasn't anything major, but she wasn't used to getting hurt like that. She leaned onto the tom, as he helped her to her feet before becoming all to aware of how close they were. She cleared her throat, putting a little distance between them "It seems so" she agreed, as she tried to figure out how she was going to be getting back home now, much less finding SwiftClan. It was going to be difficult and painful to walk, and there was a long distance between here and home "I'm sure I can walk it off" she replied with a false sense of confidence, not wanting to appear weak before Asher
Asher gave her an incredulous, not believing a word she says before he shook his head. "No, I don't think you're going to get to where you're going with a sprain like that," he said glancing down at Scarletblush's injured leg. He considered taking her back to SummerClan's camp; his conscious wouldn't let him rest knowing that she could be in danger if he let her go on her way. What's the worst that could happen if I taker her back with me? It shouldn't be a problem, right? "How about this," he started "You follow me back to my camp, I'll have the Medi-cat look at you and then go from there. If your friend is expecting you, it'll be best if you show up in one piece, eh?"

For a moment she debated on declining the offer, but what he said made sense. Besides, SummerClan wasn't known for being hostile to outsiders and he had been kind to her thus far. She slowly nodded, "If it's not to much of an inconvenience for you, I would appreciate it" the joint was already starting to visibly swell, and even the walk back to SummerClan's camp was going to be rather difficult. "You have already been so kind"
The tom shrugged. "It's not a problem at all," he responded as he padded up next to her to provide assistance along the walk. "Ah, I believe I haven't introduced myself. I'm Asher by the way." He offered her a friendly smile before looking down the path leading back to camp. "We shouldn't be too far away from camp, if you can deal with a little bit of pain, although I'll try my best to minimize it."

Scarletblush felt her cheeks grow hot, as his short gray fur slid along her side to help support her weight. She wasn't used to having anyone touch her, much less a tom that she didn't know while out in unfamiliar territory. Her eyes fell shyly, keeping them locked firmly on the ground. Anything to keep her from looking at the handsome cat that was pressed up against her side
"It's my pleasure to meet you, Scarletblush" she introduced herself once more, "wait you already knew that. I apologize. I uh.. " she stammered, her usually eloquent tongue tripping over itself, distracted by the tom's closeness. Not that it was bad, just strange.
He gave her a friendly chuckle before realizing what he was doing. Something was flustering her. In his attempt to be helpful, he didn't think about how close he was getting to a complete stranger. Well this is awkward, he thought to himself. At least he could have gotten her permission first?
He put a slight gap between the two of them and cleared his throat before looking at her. "Umm, you don't mind if I help you right?" he asked Scarletblush. "I mean you don't mind if I'm, uh, touching you," his eyes shifted for a moment, "I mean I understand some cats don't like physical contact..."
Why was it so hard to say what he needed to say. He was a Guardsman for StarClan sake; he's been in situations like this before so why is it suddenly so tough for him now. Was it the effect of the stranger, does it have something to do with Scarletblush?
