Thanks to her work in SummerClan and pushing a few cats towards the light of the Sun, Raystrike had run out of paints at last. When she picked up her paints last, Bloodystar was the High Priest. He was the only High Priest she had ever known. Since then she learned that some other High Priestess had deposed the former leader, but she had yet to meet her. Really, she didn't expect to meet this Priest at all. Previous resupplies were in and out quickly. But, then she had the paints of a SunClan cat, so no one questioned it. Now, she wore no paints on her fur and reeked of SummerClan. It was miracle in itself that she made it into the camp without any major challenges. The silver Bengal prowled through the camp like she owned the place (which she certainly did), and was completely unaware of a certain cat's attention.

It didn't take long for news of an intruder to reach the ears of the High Priestess, in fact she had known about it almost the moment the she-cat had stepped foot over their border. She had ordered them to allow her through, wanting to see with her own eyes this Ray that everyone spoke of. It was something that Bloodycrow had come up with while she was gone, a rather strange concept. She strode forward along the descending path, until she stood blocking the she-cats path to the painted tunnel "So you are the cat I have heard so much about" she mused aloud.
Even though Raystrike wouldn't have known Littlestar upon sight, the brightly colored symbols painted onto her pelt denoted her important rank. They she-cat had only recently been brought to the clan right before Bloodycrow has taken her title and inprisoned her. "I would like to speak with you"
She panted as she finally saw the paints she needed. The fire was moons and moons ago, but its scars still made her lungs gasp for breath, just as the High Priestess appearance did. Her lip curled up, and she practically bared her teeth at the sight of the moon on her forehead. That image with those paints!? The Sun God had to be playing tricks on her. It was some cruel joke, it had to be. Though Littlestar might have had a memory or two of her, Raystrike did not remember anything about the High Priestess. "And who would you be?" She broke her gaze from her face and scanned down her body, and immediately saw the long scars from wounds long ago. "Damn, you must really love body art Miss Moony!" The silver Bengal talked back/down to everyone, regardless of just about anything. There was no trace of respect in her voice, a voice that had a light rasp unexpected for her age.

"Littlestar, your High Priestess" she replied calmly, this wasn't the first cat to react to her return in such a way. Nor was she exactly expecting a warm welcome, especially from a cat that had grown up without ever knowing anything but the lies that had been spread in her absence. She watched carefully, not moving out of her way or showing that she had been offended in the least by the young she-cat "I heard that you were given a special rank by Bloodystar" she didn't indicated if she thought that it was good or bad, keeping her face neutral. "I would like for you to explain"
She never heard much about Littlestar. Of course, rumors flew around and she caught wind of them, but she was far from indoctrinated into Bloodystar's little cult. It was simply SunClan logic to be offended when seeing the High Priest insignia next to the moon. That disgust blazed in her eyes, but she did as her High Priestess commanded. "I'm a Ray. I live in another clan, hunt for another Clan, and, if the conditions line up, fight with, not for, another Clan. I am SunClan's ambassador really. I host an open prayer service every morning and evening, wear paints everyday, and answer questions about SunClan. I also try to get cats interested in initiating." She paused, her voice becoming more serious. "Full disclosure, my brother and now apparently my mother live there too." She nudged Littlestar's shoulder. "And he just-so-happens to be the deputy." After all that talking, she needed to breathe. She tried to take a deep breath, and immediately started hacking.

Interesting.... She wouldn't have thought to have such a position, but it also seemed wrong to take it away from a cat who had clearly chosen to return of their own accord. It was an odd situation that she would have to discuss with her Janus and Bravewolf to see if they wished for it to continue. "Are you happy... being a ray?" it was a simple question but one that would give her a lot of information.
"I mean, more happy than I could have been than being some rando clan warrior. I would love to be here, but that just isn't in the cards for me." She couldn't deny being a ray came with benefits, such as living with her brother and his kits. But her heart remained in the place where she was raised, and it grew more attached to her little enclave within SummerClan by the day. "It's like if you didn't have a moon on your head. You wouldn't be Miss Moony then, you'd be... something else. But you're definitely a Miss Moony."

She chuckled "The moon wasn't always there you know" she replied, but she took no offense. It was the symbol of their mortal enemy and yet she had to show it to the rest of the clan whether she liked it or not "I will let you continue your work as a Ray, I was actually consider sending a second ray to SummerClan for the Summer Solstice Fesitval"
"That's what they all say, Shorty." She winked and rose to her paws. "Well, I sure hope you let me stay there! I have this apprentice on the hook right now, and he'd be so disappointed if I left. He's my brother's son. You might remember his father, Devotedcrow. He was called Crowkit when he was here." She shrugged. "I always called him a dumb pigeon though..."

"So long as your loyalty remains in SunClan, I see no reason to discontinue your stay" she replied with a curt nod "Since you have already has success in SummerClan, I hope that you will be able to share you knowledge with the next cat that I send to assist you in your endeavors" she wrapped her tail around her paws thinking about whom she would send next
