Littlestar hesitated, the border of Primal Instinct below her feet. The group now lived in the city, a terrain she was rather unfamiliar with. She had never interreacted with twolegs much before, but she wasn't about to allow that to stop her from searching for her friend. She had been to confused and out of it during her rescue to understand what was going on at the time. However, she wanted to check in on Mistyrose and make sure that she was ok. It was a risk coming here alone, but she wasn't here for a full on assault of Primal Instinct. Only to have a conversation with an old friend of hers, and on her own she was much less of a threat. strawberrycupidFaith

Out of everyone to find Littlestar at the border, it was Evangeline-kun who happened to be walking by. She looked like the creamy side of Mistyrose had been torn off and given a whole body of it's own. Though her eyes were like the clear water of a spring, unpolluted. At least, that's what some of them thought.
Initially, Evangeline waited for the cat to make a move, hiding behind one of the buildings. They were about the same size, she figured she could take them. Maybe give them to Innocentia and get this purple ribbon off from around her neck. But Littlestar didn't move, staring straight ahead. It unnerved her, and her confidence began to run away.
That and her sandy ears could be seen sticking out from the side of one of the buildings, and her face flushed red as she realized it. Pinning her ears back, and knowing she was beat, she stepped out from her hiding place and approached Littlestar. Her gaze didn't meet the leader's, instead looking for anywhere else to focus on. "What are you doing on Primal Instinct territory?" She asked, the words clearly rehearsed.

It didn't take someone highly skilled to spot the young cat who was feebly trying to hide themselves behind one of the buildings. Not only was their scent strong, but with ears peeking out from their hiding spot it was almost like playing hide and seek with kits who didn't quite understand the game. She didn't call her out, but her whiskers twitched in amusement as she emerged looking rather defeated at being found out.
"I am here to check in on an old friend of mine" she replied honestly
After all she had no reason to hide the reason for her visit, or beat around the bush. She knew that her friend was here, but in what state she did not know.

Evangeline-kun's eyes narrowed at the blunt answer. No one had ever come for a reason like that. Primal Instinct felt like the outcast of the clans, the collections on those forgotten. So how could one of them be remembered? By someone like this no less. It was suspicious. But she couldn't turn her back on this cat, things weren't as comfy as before. She could already hear the scolding from Innocentia if she let this cat through, but it'd be louder if Evangeline left her alone. After a few moments of silence, she spoke up again. "Okay. What's their name? Or a name you think they might go by here?"

"Misty" perhaps she shouldn't have been so blunt, but she refused to show any fear. She was here for a purpose, find her friend, find out what was going on, and get out or get her out. She held her head held high "I assume you know of her" she spoked smoothly "Her skills make her far to valuable for you not to" prisoner or not, she doubted Funk would have done to much to her. She had a wealth of knowledge and skills, and it wouldn't be like the PI leader to not make used of it

That name would strike a cord with almost every single PI cat, but it especially hit for Evangeline-kun. She reached up to touch her ribbon as the cat so frankly said the name of her mother, pulling on a thread that was coming loose. Innocentia had told her a thousand times to not, which really only made Evangeline do it more. But now it was out of anxiety. Who was this cat? And what did they want with her mother? They didn't seem familiar, not from the few tales Mistyrose had told them when they were little. They didn't even really smell like Mistyrose, or resemble her. So she doubted they were related.
"Yeah." She spoke curtly. A bad feeling had blossomed in her stomach but she didn't know how to uproot it. It felt like something Innocentia should be privy too, but she never liked to tell Innocentia anything. "I'll take you to her." Question buzzed in her head but she chose to stay quiet on the way to the prison.

"Thank you" she replied, rising to her paws to follow after the young cat, glad to know tat at the very least it seemed like Mistyrose was still alive. She wasn't sure what she was going to find here, but whatever the case may be her mission was clear. (short but I can't do much until they get to misty XD)
"If you don't give it back RIGHT NOW," Came the tiny angry voice of Innocentia.
"I don't have it," Misty Rose said her typical emotionless voice, "I can give you a riddle for it."
"GIVE ME BACK MY GOLDEN BELL RIGHT NOW," Innocentia shrieked, on a verge of a full out tantrum.
"No, this is the most entertainment I've had in moons. Here's the riddle, you can find the bell that rings true where-"
Innocentia pulled Misty close with her claws by the chest, which... Wasn't a very intimidating move given the height distance, the fact that her claws were dull and short and from that she barely moved Misty close to her at all. It was probably because of all this that Misty continued to ramble on her riddle about it being somewhere where angels cry and lemon drops fly. But Innocentia's head instead turned to the entrance where she heard paw steps approach them, "WHAT!?" Innocentia demanded like a small child before noticing her daughter had brought Littlestar to her. "Well, well, well, if it isn't the queen of SunClan."
"Dibs," Misty said, her voice just as monotone as before, but there was a slight curve of her lip, which was as good of a smile as she had.
Innocentia looked at Misty questioningly before realizing she was calling dibs on the Littlestar, "HEY! NOoOO! I get Littlestar, you can't just call dibs. Evangeline is my servant after all and she brought Littlestar in, clearly for me."

(try and stop me faith)
Well. So much for hiding it from Innocentia. All that mental toil and sticking to dark corners was really for nothing. Oh well. Evangeline-kun wasn't sure what it was, but it felt like the proxy had lost some edge. But she also had no idea how. Maybe she had just gotten used to the thorns in her side. Maybe they just don't hurt anymore. She wasn't sure.
"Well. She came here to see Misty." Evangeline-kun spoke dryly, suddenly figuring it was best for her flesh if she played neutral.

The silver she-cat looked between the two cats who seemed to be bickering over some sort of bell. She wasn't sure what she was expecting when she arrived, but this wasn't it. She sat down, her tail curling neatly over her paws "She is right you now" she replied, one ear flickered towards the young cats that had brought her here "It seems we will have to play tea party late Inconcetta, Mistyrose did call dibs after all" Even though Innconcetta had been one of the two cats to hold her captive, she hadn't done anything terrible. Only tending to her wounds, and each day saying how much she was looking forward to killing her. They had an odd relationship... friendship? or was that pushing the concept a little to far? Either way she was relieved to see that Mistyrose was alright

"So what do you even need to speak to Mistyrose about?" Evangeline-kun reached up to fiddle with her ribbon again, eyes darting between Littlestar to the floor. There was no point in calling her mom. Granted, Misty was more of a mother than Innocentia ever was to her. But it still felt awkward on her tongue.
Innocentia pinched Evangeline-kun's cheek sharply with her claws, which, again, were pretty dull and while painful, didn't draw any blood, "The correct answer was there's no one in this room except for me, Evangeline!" She let out a disappointed huff, "Sometime's I really wonder if you're committed to serving me. Or are more interested in just trying to squirm out of your birth right to tend to my every need, it's a gift of a life time, you know."
"Oh really?" Misty Rose asked, looking to the priestess curiously before a rare smile rose to her lips, shy as a moon peaking through clouds, "All this way for me? What for, because I know SunClan has enough queens to keep the population up so it can't be for ulterior motives."

Evangeline-kun pouted as Innocentia pinched her cheek, pulling away from the proxy's grip and then rubbing the new raw skin with her paw. If anything, she was surprised Innocentia was still saying sometimes. It wasn't the first of the last time the two would butt heads. She hated this birthright, wanted to be anything but it. Hell, maybe having a white ribbon would be better than this hell she was in. At least then she could spend her days defying Innocentia until the day she died. Now she was on this tightrope she could not escape. "Yes, Innocentia." She said, though the frustration in her voice was clear no matter how hard she tried to mask it.

"Of course, when I found out you were here as a prisoner I thought they might be mistreating you" but Mistyrose didn't seem to be in all that much distress, that or masking it in front of Inno. "I wanted to see you myself, and make sure that you are alright and to help you if need be" she looked over at Inconcetta with a tilt of her head "I hope she hasn't made you attend to many tea parties, they really are quite tiring"
