Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
She had been missing for a few days, it wouldn't be too troublesome for a spy to be gone for so long, but Xuxa had volunteered to nurse seven new kits. She had simply left for a day to assist in some weird sightings at the border and would return the following morning. However she never did return. Primal Instinct was the reason she had all of her scars and limps and ghastly stuttered speech. It was because of her responsibilities and origin to the league having hurt her before that caused alarm. Given these circumstances Sean had volunteered to come along and because Diana was another Spy she was apart of his team. Sean's entire family had gone missing in a matter of moons so he was determined to keep those numbers down and find Xuxa.
Sean walked towards the league, his strides long and fast. He had to force himself to remain in formation with Diana to either speed up or slow down to her pace, "Are you picking up on any scents yet? Any at all?"
(So..I sort of forgot to reply to this. Hope I'm not too late?)
"None whatsoever." It was odd that a spy would just vanish like that. She was sure it wasn't unheard of, but it almost never meant something good. "We need to be careful though. The last thing we need right now is trouble with Primal Instinct." She kept her voice quiet while her green eyes scanned their surroundings. Xuxa couldn't have just vanished. Had she perhaps been caught? It was possible, but unlikely Spies underwent special training before they were sent out on missions so that they would know what to do in difficult situations.
"I've been to the league multiple times and have only been caught... Zero times," He said, flashing a prideful smile as he rubbed his claws against his chest as if to say, not to brag.
"Though... My murderous son fled to the league so let's hope we don't come across him. For all we know he may have finished what he started. He murdered Xuxa's mom after all, maybe he's trying to murder her too," Sean said, the words feeling hot coming out of his breath. Despite everything it still burned inside knowing what his son had become. It hurt to say such words he never thought he'd have to so casually say. It was his sisters side of the family that raised murderers, not his... He trudged forward trying not to think about it or look over his shoulder too much expecting to see that black tom that fled Renegades prison before his execution.
"Be careful not to make assumptions before we know what happened. If he is smart he would know to stay away from the Regime border. If he is not, we will deal with this when the time comes. Either way, we need to find Xuxa no matter what has happened." Of course this sounded cold, but it wasn't that Diana didn't care what might have happened to her. Her business-like nature just made her focus on the job at hand before any personal feelings she might have.
Sean hardly noticed her stark nature, especially considering how his mate Shule had been.
A scream tore through the air as Sean's ears perked up. It came from behind Primal Instincts border. Of course they were always tormenting cats, even their own. It might not have been Xuxa's scream, but he also didn't want to risk it, "We have no choice now, we have to go over the border and check."
"Agreed." Diana tilted her head up to sniff the air. The league's scent was strong, but not strong enough to indicate any cats in the immediate area. She stepped over the border, instantly melting into the shadows. From this point on, their lives would be at risk. If they were found, they would most likely die, but if Xuxa was here, she had to be rescued one way or another.
