Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Lynxfreeze blinked. She'd been considering introducing herself to the tom for a while, but after his performance at the Loyal Guard confirmation, she was finally sure that he was worth her time. Very few cats were, especially in a clan like this, but he seemed to have potential. He was reckless and a pain in everyone's ass, and that was precisely the kind of cat that Lynxfreeze saw herself getting along with. The frozen beauty saw the more mild parts of herself reflected in the tom, which meant that the day had finally come where the two cats would directly cross paths.
"Hey, your dirt for brains sister has decided to make you my problem for the night," she meowed as she padded up to him, her frosted blue eyes daring him to challenge her. "We're supposed to be going hunting, but that doesn't seem very entertaining, so I say we ditch the plan."
"How about I just ditch you instead." Pinesimmer looked her up and down, looking unimpressed. Or rather, hiding the fact that he instantly liked anyone who was seeking to do the opposite of what his sister wanted. Knowing his sister, this cat was meant to be some glorified babysitter, and the tom walked away from her instantly, his tail flippantly smacking her in the snout. "You can go babysit someone else, I can find my own entertainment without some snotty brat my sister picked out watching over me."
She smirked. "Babysitting?" She couldn't help but laugh. "Honey, I'm pretty sure if she was looking for a babysitter, she asked the wrong cat. Doesn't seem too off brand, though. She has a penchant for bad decisions." Her tail swept across the earth as she spoke, focused on his body language. Although she didn't herself have an opinion on the leader one way or the other, she knew that this was probably the best way to get to him. "Watch who you're calling a brat, though. Last I checked, it was you who had a meltdown in front of the entire clan, not me," she meowed with a wink. "So get off your high horse and let's go."
"You're calling that a meltdown? I call that a normal day in the life, clearly you don't stick around much. My sister tried to exile me a while ago, now that was a meltdown, not mine, of course." He scoffed at the idea he should just follow her, and pointedly went the other way, albeit vaguely curious to see if she'd follow. It was more often he was chasing after others with his insults, and less often anyone chose to follow him. "Like I said, see ya. I'm perfectly capable of not needing the company."
"I'm honestly impressed, Pinesimmer. Getting exiled and still ending up around long enough to piss off half the clan? Not very many people can say they can do that." Lynxfreeze shifted so she could follow him. He was stupid if he thought he was going to get away so quickly; she was a dedicated cat once she had a goal, and unfortunately for him, he was now her goal. "I didn't say you weren't, honey," she meowed, touching her tail to his back. "You're comin' with me one way or another, though."

"Not many people have a sister with no backbone for a leader." Pinesimmer countered with a roll of his eyes, the first response he had that wasn't directly trying to insult Lynxfreeze. Rather, the tom simply narrowed his eyes at her touching him, flexing his claws experimentally. "I recommend you look but don't touch."
Her lips twisted into a sinister smile at his words. "Hmm, you're reaction was so sharp that if I didn't know any better, I think you'd never been touched by a girl before," she meowed, her frosted gaze glinting. "That can't be right though, hmm?"

The insult actually caught Pinesimmer off guard, and the tom just gave Lynxfreeze a stunned look, as if he couldn't believe she'd actually say something like that. Full brain stop for a moment, until it processed, and his ears burned, trying to think of a response. "Aspen tries to keep them away from me, I think she's jealous I'll take the pretty ones. Lucky for me, I can spend time with plenty a tom while I wait for the right she-cat to show." He managed to quip back with a wink. Probably looking far more flustered than he actually intended to.
Lynxfreeze saw the moment of stunned silence and her lips twisted into a smile. That was easier than she thought. She had expected that it would take her several tries before she was able to certainly gain the upper hand, but perhaps she overestimated the tom.
"Oh, that's what I'd say, too, doll," she meowed with a wink. "No shame, no shame," she meowed with a light laugh, offering the tom a shrug. "I'm sure you've got plenty of options, especially with how many cats seem to be fond of you."

Pinesimmer recovered quickly. At least, relatively quickly. He looked her up and down, raising a brow. "Are you offering? You sure seem to not want to leave me alone." He replied, the corner of his mouth quirking up in a slight smile.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" she hummed, a curiosity dancing in her eyes. "But, if you're wanting me to ask. sure, why not, Pinesimmer, would you do me the honor of being the first lady you've ever gone on a date with," she meowed with an amused twitch of her ear.
