Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. IM AT A WEIRD SPOT. I'm about to graduate college, and I'm just ???? so to deal with my own fears of coming of age, i wanna rp some apprentices that just kind of have a bunch of drama and struggle with their own coming of age. they aren't going to have a super happy apprenticehood, because I really want their dynamic to be like figuring themselves out together. they aren't related, but they were promoted at the same time and have been interacting with each other since they were kittens. as such the entire group is very close.
OVERALL SONG THEME FOR THE GROUP : YOUNG BY GIRLI its got some nsfw lyrics but the basis of the song is the idea that everyone sort of heralds youth as a really positive time of like self growth and coming into who you're going to be, but no one warns people how hard it actually is to be young.
ECHOPAW / CANARY : a calico she-cat with "an eye color" (update yellow). a bubbly sort, who has some inner struggles. she falls in love with jaypaw, but when she tells her, jaypaw believes that they are too young to commit. echopaw struggles with this, but eventually finds herself moving on with lacepaw. however, tension arises when they are newly appointed warriors, when jay realizes she's still in love with echocanary. classic case of wrong place, wrong time. will end up cheating on lacesymphony once with jayfantasy. WOOF
JAYPAW / FANTASY : a work-focused golden she-cat with hazy blue eyes who struggles with her identity. slightly afraid of commitment, it is hard to get between her and her goals. as she gets older, she becomes plagued with regret. she never gets over echocanary, not really, which weighs heavily on her as she gets older. will eventually leave dayclan because she is unable to watch the life she wants play out in front of her. IAN
LACEPAW / SYMPHONY : a pretty brown tabby with silvery-green eyes. a natural leader who the others often look to for advice. she's the most level-headed of the group, and is quick on her feet. falls in love with echopaw after she and jaypaw do not work out, but she is eventually cheated on. this destroys her trust in other cats, even though she doesn't necessarily leave echocanary because of it. SHADOW
FLAMEPAW / LORE : a flame-colored tom with green eyes. he is an outward perfectionist and may be one of the smartest cats you meet. however, it is very hard for him to focus on anything for more than a few moments. he comes from a broken home, and he's pretty aware of what is wrong in the world. although he is put together on the surface, he's prone to chaotic decisions because he believes that he, as well as everyone else, is secretly out of control. THEME : MORNING IN AMERICA - SEEKER
GARNETPAW / SHADOW : a fiercely independent white she-cat with grey eyes. she's sassy, sort of cold. she's prone to flings and breaking the hearts of others. a partier, one who is always seeking her next thrill. particularly close to jaypaw, even the two are pretty diametrically opposed. even though she is a chronic trash fire, cats love her anyways. THEME : AMERICA'S SWEETHEART HONEYSTORM
ѕнαdow✩ ok so biyuu messaged me about lace and changing her name for that plot and i said ya ok because no one had taken her so technically that particular plot piece has filled (which is my bad for not updating the thread honestly i didn’t think anyone would look at it again LOL) HOWEVER i can keep lacesymphony and we can find a different plot ? i think it would actually be kind of cool if jay had a sibling bc that would be dramz when she leaves, so we could do somethin like that idk or tbh we could do any sort of plot character idea if there’s one you can think of ?
