Evening Patrol! After Raggedpaw and Coralpaw come back with exciting news about a ghost near the abandoned monster, it was decided that you four should go to make sure that the so called "ghost" wasn't actually a predator on the look for an easy meal. Dancingdragon, insisted she come along after thoroughly convincing rather boxing his ears off Goldengriffon to let her come along. But just their luck, it seems that Dancingdragon's kits wanted to meet the so called ghost too! Are they really coming this time? Or did Goldengriffon have a heart attack for nothing?
"If you don't," a snarl split its way through her vocal chords, the lioness ready to finish the job she started with her mate's ears, "give me some damn space and stop mouth breathing in my ear, this monster is going to have another ghost to investigate." Heavily pregnant by now and ready to pop at any second, Dancingdragon prowled closer to the decrepit contraption, bunching her legs beneath her to leap onto it when she paused for a very, very, very, very, very...very.....very......................very long time. And then fainted.

Goldengriffon couldn't help but rub his sore ears. All he had said was that she should rest in the nursery... and then chased after her when she had ignored him. His poor ears didn't deserve this kind of abuse.
"Well maybe if you actually listened to me for once and stayed in the nursery to rest..." The deputy started, growling softly in his throat as he watched his heavily pregnant mate crouch down low. "Dancingdragon, I can't even begin to explain why that's a bad idea." He said quickly. Ears be damned, his mate was far too pregnant and round to be doing anything like this. But then she didn't move... at all. Goldengriffon arched a brow as he looked at her. His heart nearly stopped when she fainted.
"Well that doesn't seem too good," meowed the tom as he squinted over at his mentor. He offered her a slight tap, which probably wasn't something that would make her too happy if he did manage to wake her up. "Dancingdragon a patrol is a bad time to take a nap," he mewed innocently, never quite making it out of his kitish disposition.
It seemed odd to him that he had been invited into the patrol but he supposed it was simply because his mentor was. But, he wasn't complaining. Hanging out with the leader and the deputy ? Something he could definitely brag to Celestialpaw about. Raggedpaw and Coralpaw probably wouldn't be too impressed, but Celestialpaw might be!
The world seeped back in slowly, light and colors and voices and a touch, which was batted away by a limp, albeit forceful, paw. "A patrol is the perfect time for a nao," she enforced. "Take note Servalpaw." As she climbed back to her paws, no thanks to her mate or apprentice, spasms began to rush through her body. A smarter cat would have said something about that, but for all her intelligence, Dancingdragon was an impeccably stubborn cat.
He blinked at her. "I feel like if I just took a nap on you one day during training, you'd probably throw a rock at me," he grunted, although his voice was still chipper. He was still peering at her when her stomach spasmed, and he tilted his head to the side. "Hey, uh, that doesn't seem right," he meowed to the deputy, instinctively taking a step back from ... whatever was about to happen.
And she did. Where Dancingdragon once stood was now charred earth, and around them fluttered tendrils of white fur and...bubbles? They bobbed in the breeze. One particularly larger one floated down to Jetstar, where it popped and Dancingdragon wrapped her dainty paws around her leader's neck, who was now holding her bridal style. "Oh, how romantic, Jetty. I'm like your princess~"
Three other bubbles descended and settled next to each other on the ground. Within one was a small white kit and the other held a golden kit, while the third contained a patched ginger-and-white kitten, all soundly sleeping in their iridescent terrariums.
"Look, Griffy! Childbirth isn't so bad after all!" The new mother gushed.
While Dancingdragon was floating in whatever alternate reality she'd gone off to in her mind as she started kitting, Jetstar and Goldengriffon had to move into action to quickly assist the Trusted in kitting.
So whereas to Dancingdragon it may have been an explosion of fur, bubbles like little terrariums and what not, it was a good bit of work for Jetstar and Goldengriffon.
Jetstar sighed, glad that at least she'd had the prior experience of assisting Lusterdawn to help make this a little easier. As Dancingdragon spoke she chuckled. "Yes, yes, you're like a princess Dancingdragon," She said, as she worked to warm up one of the kits. "Servalpaw, Goldengriffon keep warming up the other two." She said.

Dancingdragon would be the death of him.
He knew it.
But at least she didn't faint this time... even though they had to give her an extra dose of poppy seeds. The important thing was that Dancingdragon had made it, and so had their kits. The deputy had been quickly warming up the small ginger kit that seemed to be a near-identical copy of himself before he placed her next to Dancingdragon.
"You did... great, dear." Goldengriffon said before nuzzling her cheek. "You just rest now"
Jetstar let out a purr of bemusement as her deputy assured Dancingdragon that she had done well, tail flicking behind her.
"Here's another one," She meowed setting the kit down beside Dancingdragon. She shook her head fondly at her trusted. Of course Dancingdragon couldn't have her kits in the camp like a normal queen, wouldn't be very Dancingdragon of her after all.
As Jetstar handed her another of her kits, she squinted. "Who said you could put your slimy paws on my kits? Make your own," she growled, curling a protective tail around the three kits squirming beside her. Suddenly, her face shriveled up. "Oh. Wait. I'm not done." She gripped at Jetstar and Goldengriffon with her front claws as more convulsions ripped through her, and a fourth kit arrived kicking and screaming into the real, bubble-free world.

"Well, at least the poppy seeds seem to have worn off." Goldengriffon said as he looked at his three kits fondly. "We'll have to talk to Fawnheart though and make sure everything is- I'm sorry, did you say not done?" The pale tabby said as he glanced back down at his mate, just as a fourth kit was born into the world.
Goldengriffon could feel his heart-stopping right then and there
Jetstar rolled her eyes at Dancingdragon's comment about 'making her own.' "I'm trying to help you, you know. Since you're my princess?" She said drily.
She winced as another kit was born and Dancingdragon gripped onto her and Goldengriffon with her claws. Which were you know sharp thanks Dancingdragon.
