Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
aka swiftclan arrives in their new camp and some announcements are made
There was a slight chill in the air as Cradlegrave walked with the rest of his Clan into the area they'd scouted—the remnants of a Twoleg fairground of some sort, long abandoned for unknown reasons. It was a large, open area on mostly flat terrain, with easy access from den to den for those who were elderly or infirm. His lip curled. He hated relying on Twoleg creations to home the Clan, but he had to admit their constructions made for good dens.
"Alright," he said, hopping up onto some kind of replica boat off to one corner. Whatever purpose it had served the Twolegs who'd made it, he couldn't be sure. "I know we're all tired after walkin' so long, but there's some stuff I need to get through. First of all, the amount of petty squabblin' and useless questions I was overhearin' during that trip was..." Cradlegrave trailed off, unsure of how to phrase his next sentence. "...It was rough, is what I'm sayin'. Therefore, we got a new job called a counselor, who's gonna be our conflict-resolver from now on. If you got a bone to pick with someone, you take it to the counselor, not duke it out in the middle of camp. Our first counselor is Silverstreak.
"And finally..." Cradlegrave paused, wondering if anyone was actually listening at this point. He was so tired that he sounded like a zombie, with barely any inflection or tone to his voice at all. "We also decided on a new deputy. Heavypetal is the new deputy of SwiftClan, so everyone go and...give him a big ol' clap on the back or something. Not all at once, that might kill him or somethin'."
Pastelchaos let out a whoop for the tom who had been the first counselor of the group. The two didn't know each other per say, but they had met the day that Peachblush had chucked a squirrel at him. That was enough for the tom to support him enough. He then glanced around, his eyes glittering. There was so much to see...
Frenzy blinked twice at Cradlegrave, not really entirely sure how she felt here. She'd grown... distrustful of human structures since the serial killer basement incident, if that wasn't a complex hallucination, she still couldn't be one hundred percent certain any interaction she had had up to now with most of these cats were not just a symptom of ditch radiation poisoning. Still, she couldn't help it but think, it was kind of cool, wasn't it?
Applekit padded up to the duck, giving it a quick swat with her small paw, something she probably shouldn't have done when the leader of the group was still stnading on it. "What's that ?" she asked, swatting it again. She'd never seen something quite like it.
Jetfire was bounding from one of the new features to the other with her kits in tow, she had never seen anything like this before having only ever lived in SunClan and the ditch that SwiftClan had called home for a while. Her eyes were wide brimming with curiosity, before skipping back over to her mate "You probably have a lot to do to get your new den ready" a deep purr rumbled in her throat as she nuzzled up against his cheek "Don't worry about us, I'm just going to take the kits to explore the new camp and then get them settled in for a nap" GidgetGal
Sunkit batted at the the shiny boat thing Cradledgrave was standing on as he stared at his own reflection. He knew he was looking at himself, but it looked all distorted because of the curve of the car, making his face look wide "Do I really have that big of a nose?" he questioned blinking rapidly
Secretpaw waited until his mentor was done speaking before joining "Watcha' want me to do first boss?" he questions with a big smile. He was determined to proved himself, even more so now that the leader was his mentor. He wasn't about to let his tremors stand in his way of helping out SwiftClan. biyuu ☆彡
The idea of having a clan counselor was music to Firetooth's ears. "Thank the stars I don't have to be Swiftclan's therapist anymore," he breathed a sigh of relief. He only had a vague recollection of who Silverstreak was, but he didn't even care. Finally, he could do his actual job of healing physical wounds and not have to bother listening to everyone's dumb problems. The Medicine Cat only half paid attention to the rest of Cradlegrave's announcements; looked like Grumpypaw's mentor was Deputy now, good for him. When an eager Jetfire joined back by his side, he purred and leaned into her embrace. "I've got to find a good place for the den first," he pointed out with a small smile. "I've been thinking about it while we were travelling, but I want the new den to be right next to the Nursery, for safety's sake. You and the other Queens would probably have a better eye for what might work than I would, if you don't mind helping me out?" racer
Mountainkit leaned in next to his brother, looking between Sunkit and the reflection a couple of times curiously. "Well, it's certainly big," he replied with a teasing grin. "Big, round, and shiny; maybe your warrior name will be Sunnose!" Squeezing in next to Sunkit, he peered into metal mirror and began making funny faces at it, sticking out his tongue playfully. racer
Tinybreath sat politely in the crowd as she listened to the leader's announcements, the petite black she-cat briefly dipping her head to Heavypetal in congratulations before sneaking out around the back, where she knew Buckwheatpaw was already waiting for his mentor. Oddly enough, Marrowpaw was sitting with him. "Oh, hello Marrowpaw," she curiously greeted the hunched-over, hairless feline. "Are you planning on joining me and Buckwheatpaw today? You know what we've got planned, right?" The silent apprentice nodded, and Tinybreath smiled. "Then let's not waste any time; we're going maze hunting!" biyuu ☆彡

Heavypetal dipped his head in thanks to all that had acknowledged him, a sense of pride welling in his chest. He was glad to be recognized, happy about his new position, yet worried about whether or not he could meet everyones demands. At least now there were counselors to watch over the clan as well, and Cradlegrave would be sure to teach him all there was to know, and he was looking forward to working closely with him. He sat, resting his weary paws with a neatly tucked tail over them, though his pelt was more disheveled than usual after the clans long journey. but at least now it was over.
"Oh, I've heard about these things!" Fawnkit purred, coming up to pat The Mysterious Thing with Applekit. "They're like monsters, but they go on water! ...I think this one's a bit lost, though." @ian
Cradlegrave blinked as his apprentice approached him. Oh hell, I just want to go to bed, he thought He didn't think Secretpaw shared the same sentiment, so instead he said, "Well, we gotta sort out where everyone's gonna sleep before nightfall--how about we go lookin' for an apprentice's den? Or get some other apprentices to help?" Please, please, please no one start fightin' about who gets what den.racer
Buckwheatpaw couldn't help the sound that came out of his mouth. "MAZE-HUNTING!" he screeched. "And maze-hunting with my sister! THIS DAY COULD NOT POSSIBLY GET ANY BETTER! You're gonna love it, Marrowpaw!" GidgetGal
Peachblush gave a cheer for Heavystep. "Well done!" he purred, padding up to the newly-announced deputy. "It seems like just yesterday you showed up for the first time in the warriors' den...Time sure does fly around here." complacentdevil

“I think this whole thing could count as a maze.” Sparrowpaw said as she looked around, unable to ignore Buckwheatpaw’s exclamation. “This place is huge... I bet my next meal that someone will get lost real fast in this huge place...it’ll probably be me.” She said with a sheepish little chuckle.
“Do you think we can make dens out of that big circle thing?” Sparrowpaw mused as she looked up at what appeared to be a giant wheel. “Probably not... it’s too high... not to mention it looks a little dangerous..”

"Thank you Peachblush,' mewed the large tom, dipping his head at the other's approach. "Couldn't have made it in this place without your guidance," he churred, his tail tip flicking as a smile grew on his maw. "Glad you made the journey, itd be dull without you."
Tidal- no Ripplewish now stood at the back of the crowd of cats that gathered at the boat. She had casually slipped into the clan recently and had a slight bad attitude about her current situation. She slipped away to go hunting because she knew cats would need to eat.
Batseeker felt like his paws were about ready to fall off. He hopped the other warriors picked a den close to the ground and didn't involve a lot of climbing. He was beginning to feel his age with this last journey.
Marrowpaw's expression remained calm and even, but her frantic nodding to Buckwheatpaw displayed her excitement at finding a maze for her brother. When Sparrowpaw bounded over to join them, she waved her hairless, rat-like tail in a friendly greeting, before gesturing for the pair of apprentices to lead the way.
"I guess I'm in charge of the apprentice patrol then," Tinybreath meowed in jest, padding over to Sparrowpaw's side with a fond smile, before her mind caught up to what her apprentice had been shouting. She looked over at Buckwheatpaw in surprise, her icy blue eyes glancing between the Maze Meister and the bug-like she-cat. "Hang on, Marrowpaw is your sister?" The pair didn't particularly resemble siblings at all; one having pitch-black fur and the other not having fur at all, but now that she took a closer look, it became obvious that the two had the exact same eyes. "You should've told me, you little scamp!" She continued with a purr of laughter. "I would've taken her out for training with us sooner!" biyuu ☆彡Nova
"Uncle Batseeker~!" Sliprabbit pushed through the crowd of cats and padded over to the tom eagerly, the soft grey Swangrace-lookalike giving her elderly uncle a joyful grin. "Isn't this place so cool?! The Scouts and I got really lucky finding this place, don't you think?" @turtlenoir
Peachblush flushed. "Er, well, I don't know if I really did much besides get incredulous at your method of joining," he said, "but for what it's worth, it brightened up my morning a lot, even if it didn't seem like it at the time." complacentdevil
Buckwheatpaw looked offended. "Why, I would've assumed it to be perfectly clear from the first time you laid eyes on us!" he snorted. "Our majestic and heroic posture, our beady little eyes--Sparrowpaw, tell me at least you knew?"
can you tell i have no idea how buckwheatpaw talks GidgetGalNova

"Lets be real, it's not for safety. You just don't want to get to far from me and the kits" Jetfire teased her mate smugly, before nosing his cheek "But of course I will help" she spun around, dancing just out of his reach as she turned to scan the area for somewhere to make the nursery and medicine cat den "It needs to be really warm and protected" GidgetGal
Sunkit gasped dramatically "That's not nice, and your name with be... Mountain...Mountain..." but honestly he was having trouble coming up with a good come back to that one "MOUNTAINTDIRT" he squealed, turning away from Mountainkit with a huff. GidgetGal
"Of course!" Secretpaw dipped his head to his mentor and leader respectfully "Lead the way!" biyuu ☆彡
Desertwind was no where to be seen in the crowd, already exploring his new playground with enthusiasm as he walked along a thing wooden beam leading upwards into the sky. He had never been so high before, not even when he climbed the trees when visiting ThunderClan! Of course he ahd brought Butterkit along with him, not realizing that she might not be as balanced as him "Look from up there we will be able to see everything!" CleaverTigerclover
