Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
He had tried to be better. Really, he did. He refrained from openly mocking Nocturnepaw for almost a week at this point, but the temptation was just too much for him to ignore. The Maine coon could swear that Nocturnepaw's time in SunClan gave him a new stride in his step. Not a good one, but one that rang of the arrogance pervasive in that horrid place. So, of course, it was his job to bring him back down to earth. And he knew just the way. He had finished his training early in the night, which freed him up to gather plenty of nettles. He bounded them together in some simpler leaves, and headed back to the Academy.
It hadn't be long since Marvelstar had completely taken over the overseeing of training at the academy, this was in fact the first group of students to ever attend and she felt responsible for making sure their training went smoothly. After all one day it would be their responsible to properly train the new students. In her short time at the academy she had taken notice to the blooming rivalry between her son, Nocturnepaw and the troublesome but promising Ravenpaw. She had been meaning to talk to both toms but, there was a slight issue, Nocturnepaw hadn't returned in the last two nights. Curious she sought out Ravenpaw to ask him if he knew anything about her son's unusual absence, only to find that the Maine Coon wasn't in his nest either, so she decided to position herself at the Academy's entrance waiting for one of both students to return.
He never really thought of his time against Nocturnepaw as a rivalry. Really, Nocturnepaw had never been on his level, so it wasn't worth calling him a rival. Ravenpaw existed in the present to remind Nocturnepaw of his real place in the world, one away from the Sun God's toxic lies and destructive forces. He sincerely doubt the poor tom's mind could be detoxified at this point, but he wanted to see him squirm and wanted to try. He held his head high as the Academy came back into view, and with it the leader's pale ginger fur. What was she doing? He kept his head up as he walked toward her with a nod. "Good moonhigh, Marvelstar."
