Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
"Didn't know that you knew how to be away from Rabbitpaw," the tom meowed with a blank expression. It was sort of true; especially since they had become apprentices and the two of them had been paired, Rabbitpaw had become a fixture in his brother's life, and by extension, his own. "How long do you think you'll get away before [she?] comes poking around again?" Skunkpaw tilted his head. Honestly, he was thankful that he had been paired with Puddlepaw. Sure, their other sibling wasn't the most challenging of a partner, but at least Puddlepaw had all of his toes. He did have to give it to Rabbitpaw, though. [She?] had a tendency to find bodies, which frequently gave him bones to study.
Violetpaw huffed, glancing away from his brother. "Look, I'm not thrilled she hangs out either," he said, and he almost believed it. Rabbitpaw was too clingy. She was always dragging him after her like she thought he was lonely and needed her help. He was perfectly fine on his own, but he had to admit it was nice having someone who cared about him. He figured, his family had to be there, but his partner didn't, right?
"I think she's on a patrol today. As long as we stay out of camp, she won't be able to find us until we come back."
Skunkpaw couldn't help but smirk at his brother's reaction. "That's what they all say," he responded with a light jest, before heading towards the entrance of the camp. "Let's not waste moonlight, then?" he called over his shoulder. He was still not entirely sure what he and his brother were going to do, but at least this would give them the chance to catch up on training.
Violetpaw shot him an annoyed glare, but he followed his lead out of the camp.
"You got lucky that you were paired up with Puddlepaw," he told him, flicking his ears back. "You didn't have to get to know anyone new. I bet if you were the one with a new partner you wouldn't be so quick to judge." He was a little surprised that talking about Rabbitpaw had his fur so ruffled, but maybe he was just upset that his siblings were paired together and he was left with someone else.
