Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. It was a strange, and alarming, call to be heard at any time of day, but it was especially strange and alarming for it to be heard coming from Jetstar's den. The ivory Trusted was sprawled out onto her side, yowling loudly and causing a generally Dancingdragon-esque commotion throughout the camp, which was suddenly bursting with life as the clan scrambled to and fro.

Goldengriffon had of course been with a few of his clanmates preparing for the next day’s morning patrol. Things had been going swimmingly. No problems, no disturbances. For a moment he worried that Dancingdragon had left camp despite the deputy insisting that she stay in the nursery. In truth he should have known better than to try and keep her confined to the camp. The fur on his tail only just managed to grow back. But there it was. His mates beautiful voice screaming out at him from Jetstar’s den.
“Things were beginning to get que- did she say kits?” Goldengriffon quickly cut himself off. “K-kits... kits oh! Oh the kits are coming?! Now?!” The deputy leapt over onto his feet and ran towards Jetstar’s den. Well it wasnt really a run. He kept tripping an face planting on the ground and nearly ran right past the leaders den
The yowling continued until a flurry of pale, golden fur toppled into the den. Dancingdragon sat up. "Good, you're here, I was wondering-- stop screaming-- I was wondering what decor you were thinking for when ole Jetty kicks the bucket? Star jasmine would really accent my fur and plus, your grays are going to turn white soon." She looked at the drape of pretty white flowers hanging over her paw to the mandevillas in her other paw, "But these are such a rich color when they bloom. I just can't decide!"

“WHAT HAPPENED?! ARE YOU OKAY, DO YOU NEED ANYTHING?! FAWNHEART I HAVE TO GET FAWN-“
The deputy paused as his mate continued to speak about decor and flowers, his heart racing so fast it almost felt as though it would burst and stop. His whiskers twitched as he stared at her before he fell to the ground. “You’re going to be the death of me, darling...”
"Yes, that's fair, honey, but please answer the question this is very serious business that we need to handle while Jet isn't here." She sighed in a highly over dramatized manner. "Star jasmine or mandevillas? Oh, bother, I love the black-eyed susans too..."

“Dancingdragon, darling, light of my life...” Goldengriffon said from where he lay. “I hate to break this to you but we won’t be residing her for a long time, Starclan willing. I can help decorate the nursery with all these flowers for you. In the nursery. Where you should be”
She pursed her lips. "Okay, since I don't think your heart can handle anymore right now, I'm going to humor you on the whole Jetstar-isn't-dying thing, but sweetheart, I am not going back to the nursery. There are queens there and they're....so nice and mushy and talk about feelings. You should build me a new nursery! Just for me!"

Goldengriffon shifted his head a bit to look up at her. He couldn’t help but chuckle at her expression. He could only imagine his mates disgusted face as the other queens tried speaking with her. His mate wasn’t exactly the most in tune with her feminine side, but he wouldn’t change that or anything about her.
“If I do, do you promise to give my poor heart a break before I end up in the medicine cat’s den?”
Instantly, she perked up and jumped to her paws (surprisingly nimbly despite her swollen form), flouncing over to nuzzle her mate affectionately. "I can't promise that, but I can promise that I will try to not cause your untimely death. Now, come on, we don't want to be in here when the shows starts..." Withoit another word, she nudged him empathically and then exited the den.
(Aww you had Dancingdragon start kitting on my birthday XP)
Jetstar had been walking back to camp after leading a patrol by the border they shared with WinterClan and her eyes widened when she heard shouting. Dancingdragon shouting.
For her rival/frienemy to be shouting, either she was kitting, dying, staging a coup, or all of them at once (she certainly wouldn't put it past Dancingdragon).
So the tan and black she cat quickened her pace to get to camp much quicker than she had before, pelt bristling with worry. She arrived and her eyes widened as Dancingdragon and Goldengriffon emerged from her den, she sighed heavily. 'Well at least Dancingdragon isn't about to kit in my den,'
She wasn't going to ask why Dancingdragon was in there, (again it was Dancingdragon, why wouldn't she decide she wanted the leaders den when Jetstar wasn't in it?)
"I take it the kits are on the verge of 'falling out?'" Jetstar said drily, though amusement glittered in her blue eyes.
