Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Aspenstar glanced at the border anxiously. He would be there any moment, and he had made a comment about potentially bringing a friend. She had some ideas of who the other cat could be, but in the end, she wasn't entirely sure. There was a part of her that worried that she'd accidentally set a trap for herself, and that Ratstar was going to bring someone that she wouldn't be able ot look in the eye. She shook her head, no he wouldn't do that. Not yet, at least.
She let out a sigh, before dropping the last piece of prey down in front of her. Three voles, one for each cat who would be there, if she herself decided she wanted to eat. She'd told her warriors to avoid this part of the territory for the afternoon, which wasn't hard, being that most of them were sleeping, so it was strangely peaceful. She let out a sigh, before footsteps sounded on the other side of the border...
Old, dry pine needles crunched under Ratstar's paws as he weaved his way through the pine forest. In the distance, the sun was already beginning to slowly sink behind the horizon, nearly hidden from sight by the mountains. It was only fair, considering the last time they met it had been in the middle of the day. The scent of Nightclan was growing stronger, and the Summerclan leader gave a cautious glance over his shoulder at his companion. He'd filled Jetstar in on everything the best he could; how he and Aspenstar had met after discovering their two highly-ranked warriors in a forbidden romance, and how his Deputy Rosethorn had recently moved to Nightclan out of grief - having lost all but one of her kits. This meeting had initially been set-up as a check-in at the request of Rosethorn's sister in Summerclan, but it was when he'd met with Jetstar following her recovery that a different idea came to mind.
Seeing the Nightclan leader sitting dutifully by the border, the tabby tom smiled, trotting over to her with a friendly dip of his head. "Good t' see ya, Aspenstar. An' thanks fer hostin' us," he purred gratefully, before turning to gesture to his companion. "Thought I might introduce ya t' Jetstar, leader o' Springclan. I figured the three o' us might be able t' get along."
