Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Strangely, there were no stars peeking out of the twilight, the sky a solid wash of cobalt and lavender, and before they even had a chance to appear, the heavens ushered forth a battalion of low, swirling clouds. They loomed sinisterly overhead.
Even so, some of SummerClan's members were out tonight, gathering in the Wildflower meadow as they usually did when Ratstar took a diplomatic leave to negotiate with one of their allies. Everyone present had their flower crowns already and were feasting on the arrangement laid out by Tornadoeuphoria, but Devotedcrow could still see them glance worriedly at the sky. "We'll have to make this one a little shorter tonight," he decided, before heading to the stump he usually stood on. "Thanks for coming out anyway. It means a lot to me to see how much we all value Ratstar enough to come out here. Anyway, this next moon is going to be important for us to show SummerClan how much we love Ratstar and I think a good way to do that would be to... get more members! I want us each to start networking outside of SummerClan: In Twolegplace, on the other clans' borders, all that jazz. We need to tell all the other clans about how great of a leader he is! If you need some direction on where to go, come speak with me and I'll assign a place for ya. Alright then, guys, that's all I've got so if anyone has anything to add, feel free to come on up here." He smiled at them all then jumped back down, sitting beside the stump in case anyone had questions or concerns.
(Yep, that's the job, yall! Preach to the other clans about how much we love Ratstar and try to attract new members! The person who gets the most new members will win a prize!)
Grasslizard glanced up from the squirrel he was munching up to give the new Deputy a cheeky grin, his vibrant green eyes glimmering mischievously in the dim light. "Networking, is that what we're calling it now? I just told the apprentices that they had to come in order to get tomorrow off of training." He gestured with his head to where a small group of apprentices were chatting together around their own, separate pile of food.
Weevilpaw was flopped over onto his side in the field, his flower-crown resting around his neck like a necklace. Glancing over when he noticed Grasslizard and Devotedcrow's attention on him, he smiled and let out a lazy yawn. "T' be fair, I was plannin' on coming tonight anyways. My pop's the coolest, after all. But the extra free day really helps."
"Oh geez, I don't know..." Largelight fretted, giving her fluffy cream tail a few nervous licks. "I'm always terrible about making a convincing argument, do you think someone could pair up with me?"
Devotedcrow's whiskers twitched at Grasslizard's remark, following the green-eyed tom's gaze to Weevilpaw. "That's a good idea. I'll have to try that next time I need them for something," he joked, but then turned to where Largelight was fretting over the assignment, resting a comforting tail on her shoulder. "Of course. You can come with me or maybe Satinshore needs someone to, uh, keep an eye on her?" The she-cat in question was sidling up close to Passionpride, despite having been the one to set him up with Fielding, and was shamelessly flirting. "Yeah, please keep her out of trouble."
"I've had too many free days lately," commented Pikepaw as he dissected the meal his new mentor had put out, glancing sidelong at Tornadoeuphoria. "Ever since Camelphoenix left, all I've been doing is the chores around camp!" He was itching to get back into the training hollow and have a more natural experience, shuddering as he recalled his near death experience with his former mentor.
(Lostelm is gonna join in, juts gotta decide how I ant him to find out about this/get involved. Poor boi isn't gonna realize it's a cult or anything just a gathering of friends cus the boi be gullible! and will believe nearly anything lol. Does someone wanna stumble upon him and basically drag him along to the meeting? Like interrogate him a bit and be all "oh you like Ratstar. cool you can come with me now where going to a party of Ratstar's friends, which both of us clearly are")
(hmm I don't have anyone that isn't already present, but maybe Lostelm could just be wandering around by himself and stumbles into this party and one of them just thinks he's been there the whole time and starts going on about how great Ratstar is and such xD)
