Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
Suncuddler waited at the entrance to DayClan's camp for her mate, Spiderbranch to return. The white Forsaken's tail tapped rhythmically on the ground as she prepared to see him. Did she love him? No, never had. Too bad, love wasn't exactly like the stories she liked to tell. Or maybe she was just never meant for it. But regardless, she was wondering where the tom Lilacbane had paired her with had been going as of late, and it seemed she was finally laying in wait for him to return and question him about it.
Spiderbranch had been out visiting his second family in SunClan. Bleedingheart wasn't his mate and their love had bene brief and lasted only as a fling that produced a litter of kits, and while he wasn't the greatest dad to his litter with Sunucddler, he'd still tried. So he tried with this litter as well, espeically since Bleedingheeart seemed to think it a great idea to have him around and in the kits' lives. Walking back into camp, the tom was surprised to find Suncuddler sitting there waiting for someone, clearly upset about something. The tom intended to walk right past her and go take a nap, but his plans were derailed rather quickly.
"Where've you been, Spiderbranch?" Suncuddler leaned forward slightly, the white she-cat's voice light and lilted, whimsical even. Far too innocent in a way that seemed unnatural. "You've been sneaking off a lot lately."
He frowned, "do you honestly care? You have never asked me that before." He wasn't one that kept secrets, but he also didn't advertise things. If you asked, you learned, easy enough, but she'd never asked him so he really didn't get why she was so mad right now. Spiderbranch looked her over, noted the clan behind her, and how some of them were watching with curiosity. "I told you before where I was going, you didn't care then so I don't understand why you do now." He kept his voice low, hoping that the rest of the clan would stop looking at them and leave them alone. Spiderbranch had told his mate about his other kits, juts not where tehy lived or who their mother was. The tom hadn't seen the point in doing so.
"No, you told me what you were going to do, not where you were going. What clan did you visit?" Suncuddler pressed, eyes widening in what could either be perceived as fear or just intense focus. Likely the latter given that Spiderbranch had never given the Forsaken any reason to fear him.
Spiderbranch frowned, eyes narrowing and then attempted to go around his mate. "It doesn't matter. It's none of your business what I do and you've never expressed an interest before so I see no reason to tell you now. If you don't mind, I promised Inklore I'd spend some time with her this evening." The tom tried to walk away, planning to grab some prey and head over to meet up with his daughter Inklore. He's nota great dad, but he at least tries and Inklore is the least exhausting one of his kits so he tends to spend a little more times with her than others.

Suncuddler stepped in Spiderbranch's path immediately, her claws digging into his leg. "Tell me." Her voice wasn't leaving him an option, the quiet pair of words a stark change from her usual innocent demeanor. He wasn't getting away from this one.
"No." He tried to sidestep her again, growing frustrated with this whole ordeal. Spiderbranch was really starting to hate Lilacpaw and her sense of pairing the two of them together. Before this, they'd basically ignored each other, especially after the kits were born. They raised them separately and made it work. The less they had to interact the better in their minds so why did she care now.
Suncuddler's mouth curled up ever so slightly in a smile. "This is your last chance, Spiderbranch. Tell me who she is and where she's from." There was something wrong with the way she whispered it, something that most definitely should set off alarm bells in her 'mate's' head if he was wise. But she really wouldn't dare to do anything, would she? Least of all in the middle of camp.
He didn’t bother to answer. Just to prove his point it wasn’t any of her business, the Tom walked away from her. Spiderbranch was in no mood for Suncuddler’s dramatics and definitely wasn’t going to do this on the middle of camp. Besides that, he has plans with Inklore to keep.

Well, she had warned him. What happened next was his own fault. Suncuddler dragged her claws across her own face in a quick sweep as she stepped in front of him, then screamed bloody murder as if he'd been the one that hit her. Unfortunately, he didn't actually get the time to react to this new development, as her other paw swung up, claws dragging across his throat.
Spiderbranch was slow on the uptake, as any one would be in a place they count as completely safe. So by no means was he expected to be attacked, especially not in the middle of camp! Blood splattered form his throat, the artery hit in her attack. He couldn’t speak, was hardly able to breath and could only stare in disbelief at what was happening. Spiderbranch was losing blood and fast. The Tom stumbled, falling to his belly, and paws racing to his throat to try and stop the blood. But it wasn’t helping much.
(Time for others to join in on the horror of what’s happening lol Honeystorm)
