Here on Classic we understand that sometimes life can get difficult and we struggle. We may need to receive advice, vent, know that we are not alone in our difficult times, or even just have someone listen to what's going on in our lives. In light of these times, we have created the support threads below that are open to all of our members at any time.
(You're welcome to attack, scar, or maim Kage, just please no killing!)
The Regime had moved to the underground forest below DayClan for better hunting grounds in a time where they struggled greatly for survival. Kage was not aware of this, nor was he a Regime member.
Kage launched into the first tree trunk he saw, scaling the tree with such a perfect walk that his claws matched the indents he had put into them the last time he had come to the underground wonderland. The chocolate siamese was a kittypet resident from the surface world above. He lived in a two-leg residence snuggled close to DayClan's territory. For the longest time these had been his secret hunting grounds, never knowing that an underground military operation owned these woods. Grinning when he caught sight of a bird he leaned down low, his muscle toned body twitched, eager for the thrill of the hunt. For anyone watching the kittypet it was an obvious miss and an even more obvious way to fall and get himself hurt.
Leaping forward the bird stayed still until the last moment when its senses took over. Bounding to the skies the bird flapped away, but Kage hopped like a frog, never losing a beat from his last leap, ascending up with the bird. His claws clashed into the bird, catching it by his paw as he sent himself and the bird falling into the leaves and moss below with a flurry of laughter.
The bird wasn't exactly in one piece, but edible enough as he began to tear the feathers off of it, not realizing the eyes that were on him. He stuck out even more than the average intruder with the peculiar vine wrapped around his front leg and the blue collar fastened around his neck.
"Well, well, well," Cadet Caine Wies said drily from the shadows, "it looks like somebody's having a good time. A pity it had to come at the expense of others, hm?" He stepped out of the darkness to reveal himself to the kittypet, eyes glinting coldly. Caine was a gangly, awkward-looking tom with very little fighting training, but that didn't stop him from unsheathing his claws as he faced the other cat. Regardless of his skill level, entering into a conflict without letting one's opponent know one's intentions was bad etiquette.
"I don't suppose you've cared to notice the large influx of felines moving in to the underground forest?" he asked. "We've tried our best to let our presence be known, but that appears to be easier said than done."
biyuu ☆彡 (just pinging you since it took me a while to reply! If Cadet Caine could lead Kage to Commander Shule eventually that would be awesome!)
"Whoa!" Kage shouted, taking a step back, almost tripping in the process. In front of him was this weird looking feral cat. He doesn't even have a collar, THE HEATHEN! He snickered at his own thought before taking another step back as the tom continued to berate him. This time he took a look around, but still didn't see any other cats except for this weird one. But smelling the air he could make out more cats.
"Um. Now I know?" He asked hesitantly, but smiled brightly back at him, "Hey, we're around the same age! We should go and play together, maybe you can meet my two-leg, she might even give you some treats!"
"Mmm. That does sound quite...like a unique experience," Caine said. Playing with this tom was the last thing on his mind--if Caine got his way he would be driving the guy out of their land without hesitating, but there was something endearing about his energy and friendliness that made him reconsider. "But I'm afraid my stomach would likely take issue with her treats, though. Are you sure you're not interested in visiting my home instead? We have a great deal of treats one would never find in a Twoleg home, after all~"
"Wow, you guys have treats!" Kage exclaimed, jumping forward closer to the tom in excitement, "I would love to check out some treats, you can lead the way. Plus I like meeting other cats, I don't like to be territorial like others. Oh hey, what's your favorite treat? My favorite flavor is red, but you look more like a tan biscuit type of guy to me. Oh and what's your name? I prefer my born name instead of the two-leg name I was given so I'm Kaige, but sometime's people call me Kage too. I think Kaige is cool though."
